We enjoyed our stay at Michelle's place! We were visiting our son who recently moved to Chicago, and it was just a few blocks away from his apartment. The Ukranian Village neighborhood in Chicago is very cool....neat architecture, very walkable, etc. We went to the Field Museum and also went to a Cubs game while we were there. Her place was just as described, very clean, and Michelle left many extras (snacks, filtered water, etc.) for us! Would recommend her place!

We had a lovely stay at Cinda Jo’s home. One note: Be careful if you are tall, as ceilings are low. Otherwise, the attention to detail, decor, full kitchen with nice appliances and host provided croissants were all over the top wonderful. The space was cozy and warm, and felt like home. When we left Cinda Jo wanted to make sure all went well and we had a nice chat before taking off to the airport. Recommend highly.

Beth’s place was a great spot in a beautiful, peaceful Chicago neighborhood. The Logan square area was close by and easy to walk to. Beth gave us some great recommendations. The location is also walking distance to the brown line if you would like to get to the city! The garden apartment looks exactly like the photos and has everything you would need for a short/longer stay! I also liked the quiet street it was on, safe and FREE to park your car. Would love to come back!

Girlfriend and i felt right at home. We enjoy cooking together and emily has everything you need in the kitchen. This is one of the best spot we stayed at and are looking forward to staying again. Its 10/10.

This is our third time staying at Kathleen‘s place. It has become our go to Airbnb for visiting family in the area. We look forward to it every year because Kathleen is such a wonderful kind and generous person and her dog, Patrick is as cute as a button. We often grill in the beautiful backyard. Kathleen always has great snacks and even homemade bread available for us. The place is spotless and has all the amenities we need. We feel so welcome here! We love the quick walk to the brown line where we can get to anywhere in the city with ease. We love the neighborhood, restaurants and coffee places, and all the cute little cafés and shops. Don’t hesitate a moment to stay at Kathleen‘s!

Great stay! Really quiet neighborhood, the space is big, and it's cozy. It's better if you have a car but without is okay too. Nice nearby park as well! Hosts are super responsive and accommodating. If I'm going to be staying in the same area again I would definitely try to rebook this!

We had such a wonderful stay at Felicia’s place! From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and attention she puts into hosting. Felicia was absolutely lovely, friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. The interior of the space was beautifully designed and clean. We felt at home here, highly recommend staying here.

Alexis was a great host! The place was so cute and cozy and wasnt far from downtown (besides traffic ofc.) The street itself felt safe, but more of the surrounding areas felt a little more risky. Other than that I enjoyed it and highly recommend!

This stay was peaceful, yet SO CLOSE to everything! My partner and I wanted a weekend getaway for his birthday, and this was the perfect place to stay. Lincoln park was a short walk away, yummy restaurants, and walking/uber distance to downtown like the Bean. The location was everything!!Caid was also very responsive which made the process stress-free.

My friends and I stayed here for a weekend trip and Elizabeth's place was perfect! Check in was easy and the apartment was well-stocked and clean. Communication was also great as Elizabeth made sure that we had everything we needed. The neighborhood felt very safe, and the blue line was a quick walk away for easy access to downtown.

Great little place to stay at while we were in town for a wedding! The hosts are very responsive and hospitable!

Responsive and hospitable hosts with a fantastic location just a couple of blocks from Wrigley. One note that didn’t bother us: You can hear footsteps from the upstairs unit. Something to beware of if you’re a light sleeper.

Ms. Kim was so helpful and responsive, gave us ideas for things to check out while we were there and provided very detailed instructions and photos on how to find and access the property.

Absolutely everything was perfect! Noël was a fantastic host — super communicative both before and during our stay. The house has everything you could possibly need to feel at home: it’s incredibly comfortable, fully equipped with kitchen essentials, spacious and cozy, with a nearly professional-grade laundry room, and even a thoughtful welcome gift! The neighborhood also has plenty of great amenities to make your stay easy and enjoyable — from delicious restaurants and a top-notch supermarket to juice bars and more. At first, we thought the location might be a bit far from downtown Chicago, but the Pink Line (just a 5-minute walk away) is super efficient and gets you right into the heart of the city in no time. All in all, a flawless stay — we couldn’t have asked for more!

We had a great experience. Celia was very accommodating and communicated with us fast if we needed something. She even provided us with a list of fun activities and local restaurants that she could wholeheartedly recommend. The location is especially nice. It was really peaceful and quiet.

This was our second stay at Jennifer and Grant’s, and once again it was wonderful. Their home is quaint, cozy, and located in a beautiful neighborhood near Wheaton College. The rental is spacious, impeccably clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything that we needed to prepare our meals. We truly enjoyed our time here and hope to return again soon. Carin was the sweetest and the apartment was the cutest! Not too much and not too little.

Great place to stay with friends or as a family. One bedroom has a queen sized bed. The other has two twin beds. Restroom right in the middle. Kitchen was stocked with plates, silverware, etc. The hosts also had books and board games available. No complaints!

Peter's place was a nice studio to stay in while doing work in the North Shore area. It's located next to a lot of restaurants and a CVS and is in a very nice neighborhood. I really appreciated the soft bed and the shower was luxurious. I also appreciated the size of the fridge and the convenience of the kitchen. I also appreciate how prompt and professional Peter was. I had an urgent issue come up during my trip and he very promptly and professionally solved the issue. Two things I would keep in mind with thisnbooking: yes, you can hear the upstairs Airbnb guests. Usually this consisty of movement around the house, but there was a time when a phone alarm went off in the top unit and it woke me up. Additionally, the room lets in a lot of light, so if you are a light sleeper this may be an issue for you. Finally, the floor is more sloped than it appears in the photos. This was not a hindrance to ne at all, but it may affect other's experiences. Overall, this was a very nice Airbnb.

We were in and out of town in less than twenty-four hours, so didn't have the opportunity to do much more than say hello to Joel. That said, when we texted him with regard to anything, he responded immediately. This was greatly appreciated as this has not always been our experience with other proprietors. The apartment was wonderful!!! Clean, homey, and decorated in a way we really enjoyed. It felt like home immediately. There is a microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, and supplies for a simple breakfast. Being in an area with great restaurants, that's really all one would need. We enjoyed looking at the books, pamphlets, maps, etc., regarding the area, and wished we could have explored. I would also have taken Joel and Brenda up on an offer of a bicycle to roam the neighborhood. Well, I guess that will require a trip back when we have more time. We will definitely stay with Joel and Brenda and enjoy all there is to see and do in Oak Park!
