Cozy cottage for a nice getaway in the nature! Truely worth a visit!

Photos don’t do this beautiful alpine cottage justice! Such a peaceful and private location. The cabins have been cleverly modernised without losing touch with the rustic charm. The hosts were great to deal with.

We had an amazing stay! The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The location couldn’t have been better, 5 minutes from the Ruka Ski Station, making it incredibly convenient. I highly recommend this place without hesitation!

We had a very pleasant stay. The house is clean and modern with all the amenities you can think of. The lake view is incredibly beautiful. There are no neighbors in sight at all. Truly a rare gem.

The house is very new and corresponds to the pictures. We felt right at home! If you like peace and seclusion ( for people from the city ), this is the place to be. The extra charge for the hot tub is worth it.

This stay was MAGIC! We cannot thank Lotta and her team enough! It is incredibly romantic. It offers everything you could wish for. All the kitchen supplies, dishwasher, washing machine, sauna, snowshoes, a hut for cooking over a fire. Your own access to the lake. It feels like you and nature. We were also able to observe one of the most powerful boreal auras ever seen (by us) two nights in a row. The sauna and the dip in the snow renewed our energy. Lotta was really nice and answered all our questions quickly, making us feel cared for. We leave our hearts and souls here and wish you, too, the chance to get in touch with this magical land.

Very comfortable accommodation. Too bad the milieu was so great that we were just passing through. I could have spent more than one day here. A really great place, we recommend it to everyone who loves the peace of the countryside.

The house was absolutely wonderful, large, very old things to admire. The kitchen was missing one thing, a freezer, otherwise everything else was there. Nice surroundings, paths you could walk along to the swimming beach. Recommends the accommodation.

The place exceeded expectations! Unique, beautiful environment. The cottage is really well equipped, cooking was easy in the open fireplace and with gas. The sauna was atmospheric, the steam was great. Communication with Alex is smooth. A warm recommendation for this place, if you want to rest, this is the place!

The cottage matched the description and was in a quiet location. It was easy to find and the cottage road was in good condition. The beach meets the Simojoki river at a suitable point, when the flow is calm. After swimming, it was nice to go to the gentle sauna 🙂

Johanna and Matti were very nice, helpful and gave us a lot of advice on what things we could do in the area. They helped us out with reaching some nearby destinations, because we arrived without a car. The Husky-Farm, that was close by, was really nice and being able to feed the reindeer and alpacas on Johannas farm was another highlight. The cottage itself was the perfect place to stay. It was cozy, privat and provided everything needed. We enjoided the sauna and even were able to see auroras directly from the cottage. Over all the stay there was beautiful and I can only recommend it :)

It's a great place, peaceful and stunning scenery. Walking along the shore of the pond, you could see stunning nature and animals. Very good steam in the sauna, don't heat too much! On the second morning, when using the coffee maker, the electricity stopped, and there was no reason to get anything from cooking when the power went out every time. It's a nice cottage, recommend!

The cottage had everything you needed and was clean. The steam in the tree sauna was soft and pleasant. It was nice to fall asleep in a clean, freshly made bed. We spent a pleasant evening in the bosom of nature away from our city apartment 😊

This place is MAGICAL! My hubby and I loved our stay! The cold plunge and sauna were amazing, relaxing and much needed after a long travel day. We rented a car, short drive from airport and there is parking. Very safe and cozy. The toilet was easy to use. The breakfast was very good, Tuulia accommodated us with a to go breakfast as we had an early flight. My hubby made us a fire and the bed was so cozy!! Will be back for sure! We had an absolutely amazing time at Otso Lodge in Lapland! The cabin was beautiful and provided the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The view from the cabin was simply breathtaking—truly a tranquil retreat. The weather was also fantastic this time of year, which made our experience even better. We were able to enjoy some fantastic activities close to the lodge, including a thrilling husky safari and a visit to a local farm, both of which were unforgettable experiences. It was also incredibly peaceful to simply walk around the area and take in the stunning natural surroundings. Overall, Otso Lodge provided us with the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Lapland!

A very beautiful house in a very quiet and beautiful place, halfway between Rovaniemi and Kemi. The sauna and Kota are amazing and awesome. The house is very well equipped and tastefully decorated. We were able to do nearby activities, snowshoe rides in Kätkävaara, sled dogs and snowmobile in Parpalandia, Finnish sauna in Kemi with swimming in the frozen Baltic Sea. It is also possible to see the auroras from the house. A great stay and a beautiful house in the middle of nature, quiet and serene. The accommodation is a dream and the view from the bed was special. The communication was good, it was a very clean and modern accommodation. The check-in and communication went smoothly. The accommodation is also perfectly located for excursions in Salla. We would book the accommodation again anytime! Unfortunately we have to deduct one point at check-in. When we arrived at the accommodation in the evening, all the heating was off. The flat felt as cold as outside. We first had to deal with the heaters and see how they turned on. It would have been nice to have some basic warmth in the flat and not end up in a freezing cold flat. Therefore, the arrival was unfortunately not relaxed and it took some time for the flat to heat up. This could definitely be improved for future guests. Nevertheless, we had a great stay and can recommend this accommodation.

Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. The house is very nice, very comfortable and warm. The sauna is excellent, and the surrounding atmosphere is really pleasant. The summer period is ideal for recharging in the forest, and the place lends itself perfectly to this.
