Within 10-15 minutes stroll there are three excellent pub/restaurants and a well stocked village shop.

Visit England Gold Award cottage. The Byre at Bog Mill, Alnwick is situated down a quarter mile private track and overlooks the River Aln, on the outskirts of Alnwick and three miles from beach. Safe parking is adjacent to the cottage and secure storage for bicycles is available. WiFi is free of charge within the cottage. No smoking. No pets.

Rainbow Cottage is sat on the banks of The River Tweed, it is so peaceful and tranquil. There is an abundance of birds that visit and we have a woodpecker who is a frequent visitor and quite special. The cottage is situated just a few mile from the Scottish Borders so is in an ideal spot to discover both the Borders and North Northumberland. Our bed is quirky and is a hideaway bed and our regulars love it. We have a conservatory for extra space which is super warm on sunny days.

We have recently updated our Dairy cottage, by fitting an new kitchenand new windows ! Our Dairy cottage has a double room and a twin room, a modern bathroom, and a cosy living/dining/kitchen area with Smart TV and a wood burning stove ----- the stove is just for fun, there is gas central heating as well to keep it toasty warm. Set on a working sheep farm, the cottage is a great base for local attractions like Beamish Museum, Durham and Hadrian's wall.
