The home, which has 3 bedrooms, is suitable for both families with children or couples of friends on a trip. The home has 6 beds for adults and 3 cots. In addition, there is a day bed in the living room. It can be a good place to stay for students for shorter periods. Garden is located 8 km from the centre of Notodden and is idyllically situated among grain fields and fruit trees. In the yard there are chickens and play equipment.

The house is centrally located in Hovin 350m from the convenience store, with hiking opportunities right outside the door, or 15 min drive to get to prepped ski slopes and mountains. Hovin is a village in Telemark belonging to the same municipality as the World Heritage City of Rjukan - a perfect location for a day trip! The driving time is 2h from Oslo, 1h from Kongsberg.

This is a cozy old farmhouse which is furnished with old furnitures. There’s no television but the house invites you to interact with each othe. The surroundings are beautiful.It’s only a short walk to the grocery store. Hovin sits between two world heritage cities, Rjukan ( 60 minutes drive)and Notodden.(45 minutes drive). And a two hours drive from Oslo. You can go cross country skiing just a 15 minutes drive from the house. Or go for a swim in lake Tinnsjø just a five minutes drive.

Lisleherad Station

The former station building at Lisleherad station has been converted into a single-family home. The station building is protected externally and is part of the world heritage. Inside, it is a cozy and functional residence of 150m2, but elements such as ticket gate, stamping machine and posters are kept. Lisleherad is a pleasant village and there are many hiking areas nearby. The accommodation is also well located if you want to visit Bø in Sommarland, Gaustadtoppen or Kongsberg.

The farm is located on a hill and has stunning views and sun from early morning to late night. Wishing you warm welcome. We have been lucky and only had nice guests guests here.
