The firehouse is a spacious union building on the garden Hjukse with a unique view of Heddalsvannet with Gaustatoppen on the horizon. The home, which has 3 bedrooms, is suitable for both families with children or couples of friends on a trip. The home has 6 beds for adults and 3 cots. In addition, there is a day bed in the living room. It can be a good place to stay for students for shorter periods. Garden is located 8 km from the centre of Notodden and is idyllically situated among grain fields and fruit trees. In the yard there are chickens and play equipment.

Rural and nice house. A drive from Notodden (20 min), Kongsberg, Blefjell, Bolkesjø lake, Follsjøen, beaches and more. 52 min to Bø summerland. Here you have a nice kitchen with fridge and small freezer. Microwave, oven and plates. Coffee maker for pods. What you need for cooking. Charcoal grill on the porch and outside. (charcoal and lighter fluid you have to buy yourself) bed linen 50 NOK per person towel 50 NOK per person garden with possibility for play. Pavilion with fireplace. 5 min by car to the lake with a swimming beach.

About 5 km to Tuven with shopping center and other large shop chains and car shops. Notodden is a great starting point for, among other things, trips to Gaustatoppen or Bø Sommarland

Welcome to our lovely, newly renovated guesthouse! Here you can relax in peaceful surroundings and enjoy our amazing views of both Gaustatoppen and Blefjell. The house is centrally located in Hovin 350m from the convenience store, with hiking opportunities right outside the door, or 15 min drive to get to prepped ski slopes and mountains. Hovin is a village in Telemark belonging to the same municipality as the World Heritage City of Rjukan - a perfect location for a day trip! The driving time is 2h from Oslo, 1h from Kongsberg.

Lisleherad Station

The former station building at Lisleherad station has been converted into a single-family home. The station building is protected exterior and is a portion of World Heritage Site. Inside, it's a cozy and functional 150sqm home, but some items like ticket hatch, stamping machine, compartment table, and posters are kept. Lisleherad is a cozy village ,and there are many hiking areas in the nearby area. The home is also well located if you want to visit Bø in Sommarland, Gaustadtoppen or Kongsberg.

This is a cozy old farmhouse which is furnished with old furnitures. There’s no television but the house invites you to interact with each othe. The surroundings are beautiful.It’s only a short walk to the grocery store. Hovin sits between two world heritage cities, Rjukan ( 60 minutes drive)and Notodden.(45 minutes drive). And a two hours drive from Oslo. You can go cross country skiing just a 15 minutes drive from the house. Or go for a swim in lake Tinnsjø just a five minutes drive.

The farm is located on a hill and has stunning views and sun from early morning to late night. Wishing you warm welcome. We have been lucky and only had nice guests guests here.
