Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Notodden Municipality

The property is absolutely stunning, only topped by the amazing views! The home is beautifully nestled into the rock and natural surroundings. Consequently, the views from the hot tub and the sauna are breathtaking. During our stay, we had excellent sunny weather and enjoyed daily. Hikes: either directly from the home or within a 30 minute car drive. The house itself is well laid out and the kitchen has everything you need for six people. It never felt crowded, except occasionally the two lounge chairs from which you could view the valley, as we sometimes fought over who gets to sit in them… 😊 There is a small grocery store just down the mountain within a 15 minute drive. It is well stocked but a bit expensive. For us this was a perfect vacation as we just wanted to enjoy nature and relax. Beyond that, there really isn’t much to do as there are neither museums nor cultural points of interest. During the winter time, this obviously is a prime skiing location.

We just got what we wanted: A user-friendly and cozy cabin in a quiet and scenic environment. Mathias was a perfect host. He responded quickly and pleasantly to our inquiries, and we felt at home in his cabin from the first moment.

Wonderful place tucked away by a lake. Very cosy and has everything you need. If you visit in winter the road can get slippery so make sure you are well prepared!

We had a very nice week in Terje's home. The house was nice and lived up to the description. We were 6 adults and 2 children, it worked really well, several had probably been a little squeezed 😄 Terje gave really nice instructions, and it worked easily to get in with the key box. The place was easy to find, if you just remember to read the fine instructions and not just follow google maps, because then you end up a little too far up. 😆 We had brief contact with Terje during the stay, due to problems with a bathroom, and the response was quick and nice. Very nice place, super good as a base for motorcycle holidays as we used it for. We'd love to come again!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin is just so perfect, location is amazing! It had everything we needed and more! The hot tub was amazing, we loved using it and watching the sunset. Kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you may need! Shop is just down the road. The hosts were so quick with responding to us to any questions we had. Would recommend to anyone!!! 🤩

This is truly a great cabin with everything you could dream of! Definitely proper people who own this castle of a cabin, because here there were clever and great details everywhere, and very modern. There were 6 of us on a trip, and all the young people and adults and the 6 year old found their zones where they relaxed, enjoyed their holiday and were able to settle! We checked out the sauna by a small pond one of the days and it was really cozy. Only 10 minutes walk from the cabin. Otherwise, we had lots of Easter activities and cooked delicious food. The sun was also on our side, so we were outside grilled on the fire pit. Here we would love to come back! Thank you very much for us🤗

Really nice cottage in Gausta. Everything worked great, we could cook, sleep well and have a really cozy time in the cabin. Worth mentioning is the shuttle that runs between the ski slope and the cabin. Very comfortable and practical and absolutely free.

Always a pleasure to stay at Lode's cabin! Great location, in a great cabin with a fantastic view! Very good communication with a great host. As returning guests, we will surely book again for the future.

This was our second time booking the cabin and once again our expectations were met for the cabin and the area. We can definitely recommend the cabin. We had a great holiday and the cabin is perfect for a large family or multiple families.

Also in summer this is a wonderful place to stay. After a holiday in cabins on campsites in, this cottage was very luxurious for us, with large kitchen and oven, beautiful bathroom, wonderfully spacious living room (lovely sofa!) with large dining table. WiFi connection is fine and heating is controlled remotely by host. Outside a large terrace with amazing lake view. There are a few beautiful circular walks in and around Fagerfjell, clearly marked with signs. Not too simple and not too heavy, just enough challenge for us. We enjoyed all the comforts in this beautiful house. Kjetil always responded quickly and kindly to my questions. Tip: To easily find the house, open the instructions via Maps from the listing.

The cabin met our expectations and more. We had the most wonderful week in the cozy cabin. It was in very beautiful surroundings and it was easy to take small trips in the area's beautiful nature. The cabin was neat and clean and it was easy to warm up after a long day in the snow. We will definitely come back if we get the opportunity. We can recommend everyone to rent this lovely cabin in beautiful surroundings.

We had a great stay at Kristin‘s cosy cabin. It was really warm and comfortable. The location is great, right next to a small family ski center for both alpine and cross country. The only little thing is that we had some difficulties finding the cabin because both Navi and Google maps insisted on taking a road that ends in a trailer park a few hundred meters away. But we found it after all and it was definitely worth the search. We would love to visit again 😊

A beautiful accommodation, well equipped and perfectly located for hiking, right behind the cabin. The rabbits and sheep were particularly pleased with the children! The climbing park was great too!

Very nice house! We are family of 5 but there is no problem if you are 8-9 people. Great view, nice surroundings, jacuzzi was perfect. We came in late april so no skiing but house it is situated close to skicenter and trails. Randi was very friendly, quick in response. Can recommend Randis house to anyone looking for a getaway in the mountains!

We had a wonderful two-week winter vacation with 3 adults and 2 young children in Anne-Tone's cabin. The space was lavishly equipped so we didn't miss anything. The fireplace always ensured pleasant temperatures and contributed great to the cozy cabin feeling. The size of the cabin fit quite well for us 5. With 8 people, it would probably have become a bit bustling for our feeling. The location of the cottage is optimal for the use of the ski lift, which is directly within walking distance. The trails start a little further up the mountain. But also in walking distance. Check-in and check-out completely uncomplicated via code box and the landlady was always available in a timely manner with any questions. Very pleasant communication. Thanks so much for making this beautiful holiday possible!

Fantastic cabin experience! You feel in the middle of nature with incredible views and the ski slopes around, not my st is very child friendly with full equipment. Quick and careful communication with the owners who help and make it easier to adapt to the difficulties. Totally recommend!
