Waterfront holiday rentals in Oak Island

This place is literally beachfront. Beautiful views for sunrise and sunset!

The location was great- a short block walk to the beach. We enjoyed the porch overlooking the water. Soft bed, adequate cook wear to prepare meals. Overall great stay!!

This was our second stay and we will be back! The location is amazing. Bob is extremely communicative and the condo has amazing river views at a fair rate. Add in the condo amenities and included parking and there is no reason to stay anywhere else on the riverwalk. We can’t wait to come back!

The view the view the view! Listen to the beach your whole trip from your balcony. Comfortable, clean, convenient location, private and quiet! Excellent unit! We travel a lot and this was our favorite vacation spot ever!

The property was beautiful and clean and perfect location! Walking distance to the beach. The fishing area was great and the gym area onsite was awesome. The house was stocked and we just felt right at home. The hosts are amazing, helpful. I definitely found our beach spot in N. Myrtle. So happy.

My husband and I enjoyed spending the weekend here for a wedding! The apartment is beautifully situated over the water with an amazing view. Right near the apartment is a local place to get drinks. The apartment is walking distance to everything, but also far enough where we didn’t hear a lot of noise. Aubrey was very responsive and gave explicit directions. It was helpful to have the parking garage which wasn’t far away at all! We also appreciated the “manual” with recommendations for local favorites including shopping and restaurants! The apartment was nicely decorated and clean. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you!

We had such an amazing time at River Retreat! Felt very safe and comfortable right at home truly. It unfortunately was raining so bad one of the days but that didn’t stop us we still had a great time, make sure you enjoy that sunset on the balcony or catch the sunrise, it’s worth it! :)

We have stayed here many times. Views are amazing and would love to see the docks get rebuilt.

The hosts equipped the kitchen with everything you could possibly need, the bath towels were plentiful, the games & puzzle cabinet packed full, and plenty of comfortable casual seating for a large group both inside and out. Roku TV loaded with the most common streaming service apps so bring your sign ins and passwords since there is no antenna/over-the-air network channels. Nothing as nice as being able to walk a direct path from the deck to the beach via the home’s private wooden walkway over the dune.

This home is perfect! It has everything you need for a relaxing beachfront vacation. Joshua and Lauren were super responsive with any of our questions. Easy and very clear instructions for the home. They thought of everything specifically labeling the light switches! That’s always a bonus. :) Let’s talk about the view and private beach access…. On point! The community is so peaceful with great restaurants and a very quick drive to South Port as well. We loved our time here and would love to stay again!

Our family has gone to Oak Island every year around Memorial Day for the last 6 years and we've always been looking for a spot that we can return to every year. Nothing has been quite right. Until we stayed here. This spot has everything we love. Right on the beach with easy access. Great layout with big beautiful windows. Something fun for the boys to play (air hockey). Really comfy beds. Very clean. Walking distance to all our favorite restaurants. It was great. We will definitely be back!

The trip to Oak Island was to celebrate our daughters birthday. We were 4 adults, a 5 year old and 2 dogs. The space was perfect! Enough bedrooms for everyone with bathrooms on each side of the house. Everything was well stocked and since we brought our own food, we lacked nothing. There are stores not too far away if needed, though. The house is pretty much right on the beach so the view was spectacular and it took no time at all to reach the waterfront. We really loved that aspect, especially with a 5 year old! I really can't say anything negative about our stay. Kimberly was extremely accommodating and responded to any question within about 10 minutes. We would absolutely visit Kimberly's home again if we return to Oak Island. Thank you so much for making it a more than pleasant stay! And I will say we lucked out in the weather department. It was supposed to rain but instead was sunny and warm.

The property location was SO convenient - steps from the beach, walkable to restaurants and shops, and came with all the things needed when going to and from the beach (chairs, beach umbrella, wagon, hose to wash fee, etc.). We enjoyed hanging out on the back deck looking out at the beach while we ate or read a book or just talked. The dogs loved the place too and we appreciated that the couch was covered for them to lay on and relax. While the bathrooms are small, the water pressure was great and everything worked fine. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with what we needed to cook and eat in. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear and not onerous. I loved having the sliding door from the bedroom to the back deck and being able to look out at the ocean while laying in bed. The hosts were both super responsive with any questions we had. We'll definitely be back!

This beautiful home was exactly what I needed for a short get-away! The home was clean, beautifully decorated, had lots of little extras, such as K-cups, a beach wagon, and laundry pods. It was close by the beach as well. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. I hated to leave! I would highly recommend Dave and Jennifer’s place to anyone. Cozy and spacious home withing walking distance to the beach. Perfect for large gatherings with ample outdoor entertaining space and a beautiful dock. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was beautiful! Fort Fisher is literally right next door! The place was clean,beautiful, quiet and had everything we needed. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, the pool was well kept, and The view was hard to leave. Will be back. 🫶🏻

Another great summer vacation in the books! Chad is THE BEST host and his place is the best one on the beach!! We are repeat guests & highly recommend this condo. I've rented a lot of AirBNB all around the country & this one ranks as one of the top on the list. Chad goes above & beyond. I wish he would buy & rent out some more places!!!

We absolutely loved our week at Anne’s condo. It was not only beautifully decorated, but also very cozy and comfortable. Our favorite place to hang out was on the deck overlooking the beach and pool. The kitchen was amazing. Everything we needed was right there. The beds were so comfortable. Anne was extremely helpful in every way. She answered all my questions and provided lots of great helpful hints about where to visit and eat. It was an awesome first visit to Ocean Isle Beach and definitely not our last.

As soon as you walk in the door you see the amazing view of the ocean through the wall of glass doors onto the deck. The decor was very “beachy” and absolutely beautiful! Bathroom was clean and functional. Bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. Just like home. Close access to the beach which we used 6 of the 7 days we were there. And right next to the pool! Extremely easy to find and to easy to access! Close to many restaurants! Book of instructions, favorite restaurants and things to do. Also a guest book that many who stayed there left great suggestions for food and fun. Our son and daughter in law stayed here in 2022 and recommended #501. Denise has thought of everything. Her condo is absolutely perfect, a very private and peaceful place. The pictures are accurate and in person it’s even better. My best friend and I have been going on beach trips for 9 years, so we have seen many beach houses. We know what we want and we FINALLY found one we are returning to next year for our 10th to celebrate 40 years of friendship. I can’t think of a better place for it. ♥️ Denise is very detailed with YOUR experience. She has literally thought of all your needs and the home is emasculate. I cannot say enough about this GEM. It was clean, modern, stocked and comfortable. The view was AMAZING. The privacy was incredible. A total reset from “adulting”. I cannot say enough except STAY HERE, STOP LOOKING! From the time of booking, Anne was an incredible host and the space was immaculate. The complex itself was quiet during our stay in June. It is truly steps from the ocean. Not only that, we came during such a hot week and the AC never wavered. I can’t stress enough how important it is that AC works well during a stay. The toys were excellent for the littles in our family. Anne went above and beyond sending us recommendations and communication about check in. We would totally stay here again. While we did splurge, we felt like the value for what you get in this place was more than worth it. We never felt crowded on the beach due to only private access for condo tenants, another huge win. Thanks Anne for such a wonderful week with memories my family will never forget!
