The estate is surrounded by trees and is a 5 minute walk to the Forrest’s visitors centre and station. My house backs onto Delamere golf course and has 3 very good pubs nearby. Two double bedrooms, and an open planned living room dining room which opens up to the garden- making a sociable space. Everything you’d expect from a well loved home.

It has 2 bedrooms with super comfortable beds, a lounge and dining room with log burner and dining table that can seat 8 people. Fully equipped kitchen with garden room that opens up to an enclosed courtyard area. You will be near the local co-op., The Morris Dancer and The Boot Inn. Fantastic walks from the cottage, including Delemere Forest and The Sandstone Trail.

Grooms Cottage - an idyllic Cheshire rural retreat

Grooms Cottage is adjacent to our home in the charming hamlet of Tiverton, near Tarporley, Cheshire. Built in the Victorian era, the cottage was accommodation for a groom to facilitate hunting and shooting parties from the hunting lodge and stables. Guests are provided with a breakfast welcome pack upon arrival consisting of Croissant, butter, Twinings tea, selection of Tassimo coffee pods, organic milk & Wilkin & Sons preserves, all sealed.

The shepherd's hut looks out across its own lake and you will have exclusive use of your own wood fired hot tub and luxurious bathroom facilities. The shepherd's hut is very private with raised decking affording excellent views over the lake with lots of outside seating available and your own fire pit and gas fired BBQ. A maximum of 1 dog please.
