Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Ocean Lakes

Listing is close to everything! We loved that it had a palmetto tree at the deck and it looked at the RV sites not at another houses. So peaceful having my morning cup of coffee or meal under the patio umbrella shade. It was very peaceful. The mattresses on the beds are so comfortable. Like laying on a cloud! Master has TV. The living area was comfy and roomy w big TV. Brought a toddler air mattress to use in 2nd bedroom and we slept 4 grands. They loved how snuggly, cozy it was. Top bunk had a bed rail. We cooked alot and the well equipped kitchen and gas grill were great. Bathrooms were small, efficient with good lighting. New front loader W/D. Golf cart was great! Large hot water heater. Again the location is amazing. Steps from waterpark and store, but still a very peaceful side road location next to the RVs, and you can see the ocean dunes. One story, one step with easy entry. 2 vehicle parking along with a golf cart. It was perfect and all we needed. Host is sweet and attentive.

This home was perfect for our family of 6. We had plenty of room, and beachfront with a pool is the way to go. We did not think we would need a heated pool in June, but the weather was mild and we were very appreciative that the pool was heated and we could swim. Brian & Lisa are great hosts.

We liked our stay and will be back again to stay at denis's place it was close to the beach and he was very easy going and gave us all the info we needed to get in the unit and easy checkout instructions when we left we enjoyed out time at the beach this trip !

This truly felt like a home away from home. We stayed for a week and everything was perfect — just as described. The house is spacious, clean, and stocked with just about everything we needed. The neighborhood is peaceful, and the location couldn’t be better — we were just 10–20 minutes from nearly everything. Tina and Dwayne were very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely keep their home in mind!

Thin mint is very cute, clean cottage that is close to the beach.

We had a great time vacationing at Tom and Desiree's place. It was extremely convenient having the baby gear, beach gear , and everything else you can think of at this house. Would recommend this house for any families traveling.

We had a wonderful stay. Bobby was very responsive when asked questions. The place was clean, roomy and had all amenities needed. With some extras! Comfortable beds, nice furnishings and good water pressure for the shower! We loved the outdoor deck, nice clean gas bar-b-q and beach supplies. The place is close to a nice beach and within driving distance to lots of restaurants and shops. We loved it and definitely recommend!!!

We really enjoyed Carissa's place. The canal access, hot tub, hammocks/swings, and pleasant space were fantastic. Cherry Grove is a great part of Myrtle where you can still do fun things and get some peace. Garland

Sunny and Greg were great hosts. Place was very clean , inviting and looked just like the pictures. Very peaceful and beautiful. We would definitely stay there again!

Maria was an excellent hostess She responded back to us within minutes. Very patient. Will be looking into renting her 1st floor apartment in November because the 4th floor was too difficult for my disabled husband to walk .

Deborah’s place was beautiful. Not far from the beach 🏖️, lots to do and great restaurants in very close proximity to the location of the condo. Everything was as shown and described. Deborah made sure we knew everything we needed to know ahead of time (contact info, door code, directions, things to do in the area, etc). She left nothing to question which is FABULOUS!!! She is a great host!! We would definitely stay there again!!!♥️

We stayed here a few years ago because this is one of the only ocean front rooms that is reasonably priced that also accepts our ~60lbs dog. Again, it did not disappoint! Great room with a great view. Will stay here again any time we return to Myrtle Beach with our dog!

Condo looks exactly like the pictures. Very nice place to stay. Near airport and beach is near.

Very nice. Had a great time. love the view. Great place if you have pets. When doors was shut very quiet and peaceful. Very high great shower water pressure. The matress was very comfortable. This condo was perfect for me, my wife and small dog. A little pricey for extra towels but I knew that so we brought extra. We will return next year.

If you ever in Myrtle Beach South Carolina and need a place for your family, this is the very best place to cook host is really nice and she goes hard to please you. I can’t wait to return.

Nice stay. Room was nice. Location was perfect! Check in was a little chaotic, however, so was everyone else’s. Would definitely recommend for a quick trip to the beach! Would definitely stay again!

My family and I really enjoyed our time here in ocean lakes. I hadn’t been to the area in atleast 10 years but to see how much it has changed was definitely well worth the return. There was ample space in this hole for us all and the front porch was the best way to end every night enjoying dinner and laughing about the days adventures. As someone who has children of various ages it was easy for my oldest three to be entertained without me having to hover over them and I knew they were safe within the community while I entertained the youngest two. The location of the house was also perfect for my 11 year old who has autism. It was in a quiet spot away from all the hustle and bustle of the summer activities and it allowed him to relax even when being in a new environment without getting over stimulated. This house was fully equipped with everything I needed for cooking meals, all linens were included and clean. Host were amazing and we can’t wait till next summer to return.

We had an amazing time staying at Caroline’s house. I didn’t realize it was in Ocean Lakes initially, but I’m very glad it was! Everything you need is right there. Perfect for friends, families, or couples. The house and the Ocean Lakes property is incredibly clean. Staff is super friendly. The house is very close to the grocery store. We also enjoyed the dog park, the nature center and easy access to the beach! We didn’t get a chance to use the water park, maybe next year. We will certainly come back! Be prepared with bug spray at night. Also if you have friends visit, you can have them park at Walmart across the street and use the golf cart to pick them up. There’s a trail to the right of the exit! Also the store had plenty of dairy free/ vegan options, including ice cream!

House was very nice. Appears newly renovated. Very clean. All newer appliances. Nice furniture. Our favorite part of the house was the shower in the master bath. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. The accommodations were perfect. The house is on a dead end street so you don’t get the noise from the golf cart cruising. It is quiet at night. The only complaint I have with the house is that there needs to be a gutter on the front of the house. When it rains the water pours right off of the roof and right onto the handrail causing the water to splash and soak the front of the house including the front door and windows. This is only a minor complaint and not a reflection of the rest of the property. Overall we had a great trip. If we come back to ocean lakes again we would love to rent this house.

Loved this rental. Was exactly as Emily stated, no surprises. 5 minute walk to beach and less than 15 minute drive to many nice restaurants. This rental was exactly what we were looking for our vacation with our dog.

This was a great stay for our family of 5 and the house was very cozy! It was really nice to be able to have access to a golf cart as well. Only thing i’d say is if you have a large truck it is kinda a tight squeeze with an additional car!

Place was wonderful and easiest process ever! Clayton was very responsive and super nice! We will definitely be renting again!!!
