The house where the farmer used to live with his family has been converted into a comfortable apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen downstairs, overlooking the meadows and the Wanswert church. The apartment is in personal style and fully furnished. Where possible, we have used second-hand furniture. Together with the piano and comfortable wood stove, a pleasant living climate is created. The apartment has a cozy private garden around it, a private front door and lots of privacy.

Relax and unwind in our beautiful vacation home with views over the Jan Durkspolder. Enjoy the silence! With a private deck and completely unobstructed view, you have plenty of privacy! The cottage is modernly furnished and is equipped with luxury box spring beds, rain shower and excellent WiFi The surrounding area is great for cycling, hiking or boating. We have canoes and bicycles for rent. The cottage is located on a small-scale recreational site with 5 cottages and space for 10 campers.

Welkom ook in ons oude boerenhuis, waarvan een gedeelte van de voormalige stal omgetoverd is tot een sfeervolle B&B. Bijzonder ingericht met veel kunst aan de muur en een goedgevulde boekenkast. Het b en b bevindt zich separaat en afgesloten van het hoofdgebouw. Eigen ingang, eigen slaapkamer en eigen badkamer. Er is één b en b ruimte. Ontbijt inbegrepen.

At the end of 2023, we converted our cozy B&B into an apartment that is equipped with all comforts. And we speak from experience because during the renovation of our own house, we lived in it ourselves! 🏡 Also check out our website! The accommodation is located in a rural area, but also close to Leeuwarden and Dokkum. The perfect base for hiking and cycling. Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south.
