Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Oita

Yumiko’s place was unique and a great base for our stay in Minamiaso. She had great recommendations. We have not had the pleasure of staying in a Japanese home before and found it very comfortable. The container gallery was one of our favourite spots. We had breakfast, coffee and dinner there. The kitchen was well equipped. Area was quiet and the location was great. Can’t wait to stay here again! Thank you so much!

We loved our stay at this place. It was very spacious for the two of us and we enjoyed using the private onsen. It would have been easier to find the place if the outside light was left on before we arrived.

Beautiful house with complete amenities. Nice view and surroundings. The only downside is that it is far from Beppu Station. Good if you have a car. But we will definitely recommend this place.

This house is simply espectacular. Has everything you need, a lot of space … and the hot bath and garden are a plus.

Masahide's house is a delight, the most comfortable we have been able to enjoy in Japan. The setting is beautiful, we were able to have our breakfasts in the garden and walk around the house. The summit of Mount Aso is only 25 minutes away by car. Everything you need to cook is available in the house, salt, sugar, oils… and there is even a dishwasher, a unique case in a month of travel in Japan. Finally, Masahide is really a remarkable host, very helpful, English-speaking and friendly. We should have stayed longer!

It is a great place to stay for groups. The Saito Family responds quickly and is friendly. Parking is available, so it's the best for rental car customers. Great place to enjoy with the surrounding hot springs!! I recommend it ~~

This stay was the perfect fusion of traditional Japanese charm and modern comfort. The home was beautifully designed, thoughtfully blending Japanese heritage elements with contemporary touches. It was fully prepared for our kids, making the stay smooth and stress-free. We also loved how convenient it was, just a short walk to Lawson or drive to nearby attractions like Rakutenshi and restaurants. The host was exceptionally warm, welcoming us ensuring we had everything we needed. A truly memorable and heartwarming experience! Thank you again for the kind and warm hospitality!

Takeshi and Michiko are the best Airbnb hosts we have met. We had a great stay at their beautiful and warm home. She n her family were very hospitable, baked us bread n buns, even made us blueberries yoghurt. When I asked for the bread recipe, they shared with me and even gave me a pkt of the Japanese flour. Since we felt so overwhelmed by their hospitality, we bought a punnet of strawberries for the family. They even bought us a gift on our last day, so touched by their gesture. This place must be recommended to our friends and family. Must come back again when we visit Beppu the next time. Takeshi and Michiko, thanks once again for hosting us! You have set such a high standard that the other hosts will not be able to follow.

It's close to Shinsuizenji JR Station, and the locals are very friendly.It's a little crowded for three people, but the bed is comfortable.Overall, it is very good value for money.

Great Airbnb! Very tidy, had all the amenities you need, beds were comfortable, lots of space and great location. Literally 2min walk to the train station which has a family mart located inside and super market within walking distance. The car park is easy to access also. Overall great stay!! Beppu is totally worth visiting and has so much to do in locations close by. Some things to note: Although the instructions were good, check in was a bit time consuming and difficult navigate at times felt like the amazing race or something similar, but the host response was quick. There is also a camera inside of the room, pointing at the front door. There is a picture of where the camera is facing, but something to be aware of depending on your comfort level. We weren’t sure if they can also hear audio through the camera but it’s seems very clear and transparent of why it’s placed there (security). However a camera outside would still do the job. We would stay here again :)

The host is very kind. I was also grateful that he responded to my inquiries very well. The location of the accommodation was perfect. It was right next to the Gamitori Arcade, and the Shimotori Arcade, which is the center, was also close. It was so convenient to move even when it rained because the arcade was close. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, so I had a pleasant trip.👍

Great location, with a fantastic cafe nearby. Easy to walk to main attractions.

Great guesthouse with parking and close to train station. The living room is tatami fitted which is very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again if we visit Kumamoto in the future

Aya's place was spotless and had all the amenities we needed as a family of 4. Aya was also very thoughtful in the way the apartment was set up, she went above and beyond with instructions and tips on how to use different features, e.g. the washer dryer, which we really appreciated. Great location and very accessible by car, with free parking. We'd recommend this place!

I was worried when I first traveled to Bingbu, but I was able to travel very comfortably because it was close to the train station. I traveled during Christmas, and I was really grateful for the Christmas cake that the host prepared. There were a lot of restaurants around the accommodation, so I went out to eat, and it was a little down the street from Toki Department Store, so it was good for shopping. I think it would be a good choice if you are preparing for a trip to Bingbu.

Just a perfect flat, everything what you need wirh good Connections to the center! The onsen was very relaxing and Together with the sauna a perfect spa retreat for The night :) i can fully recommend it :)!

The foreigner at the receptionist was friendly and my 1-year-old son asked for a high touch (^ ^) It was a good trip.I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

This farmhouse is a very relaxing and beautiful place! We loved to just chill there in the evening and enjoy the tranquility of slow life.

The room is spacious and very comfortable. It has everything you need. It should add a clothes hanger and a place to put your toiletries in the bathroom.

I had a wonderful time. Seigo is very friendly and helpful and even invited me to a small tour of the old town. A wonderful opportunity for me to learn more about the area and practice my Japanese. The place is very nicely renovated and feels right at home. As usual for Japan, all rooms are a little narrow and not highly insulated. I was in the place for a week and the only guest on several days, it felt like the whole house belonged to me.
