The detached cottage with underfloor heating and wood-burning stove is located in a piece of yard between the old port of Oldeberkoop and our farm. The lovely sunny garden with terrace, are located around the cottage and give you all the privacy. In the morning you can walk to the local baker for fresh sandwiches. A hike started in the opposite park-like Molenbosch. With the free bikes you can explore the wooded, rural surroundings via all kinds of routes. A place to relax!

Very spacious house in a nice and quiet rural area. It is even more spacious than what the photos suggest. The house is equipped with everything you could need for a stay in Fryslân. In the morning you wake up there wonderfully with the whistling of the many birds and the crowing of the rooster. The dog Lobke also came to say hello every morning. Communication with Ida and Johan went very smoothly; they're very helpful. Basic amenities such as a bakery and a butcher can be found at about 6 km in the next village of Gorredijk. The Boeren happiness is highly recommended! However, the stairs to the upper floor are very stylish, so maybe less suitable for those who are not so good to walk, but for the rest nothing to criticize at all.

If you want a gem in the middle of nature with friendly hosts, I will definitely recommend going to this log cabin. Anything you need is present. Enormously enjoyed the peace and the shells at the feed station and the butterflies and huge dragonflies. Just a top location.

Incredibly beautiful and comfortable house. We were there in one of the warmest weekends with the whole family. The shade and air conditioning were therefore great. Everything is available for the children, but also for cooking. A super comfy sofa and nice tables to eat at. One of the best places for a family weekend!

Great host who took good care of us. We also received some eggs from their own hens. A very nice hiking area in a nice forest near the house for those who want to be active. The only thing we reacted to was that the plot was very close to a busy road. Things to consider for those who are sensitive to light. We had missed noting that when we looked at the map. A very nice house.

What a lovely stay in such a charming village. I was there to look at horses and found this to be an extremely comfortable and charming accommodations after a drive through the tulip fields on the way north. Highly recommend! Also took a jog through the countryside which was a memorable stroll!!
