Deer View Cottage

What sets us apart: We are located in a private, wooded neighborhood in the center of town on .6 of an acre. This quaint and charming cottage is fresh, clean, and super cozy. There is a private patio and section of our large yard that is for our guests and animals enjoyment. Wildlife frequents the property including deer and ducks. Guests tell us that we are in the center of it all but it is very quiet and peaceful. We allow smoking on the patio only, not inside the cottage.

We were in town for our daughter's graduation from CMU. This was the perfect house for us! It was clean and cozy, with a great outdoor space. The beds were comfortable with great pillows, and the decorations were beautiful. The bathrooms were super clean and stocked with fresh towels, full rolls of toilet paper on the rolls, and toiletries for everyone to use, just in case you forgot yours (which two of our people did). The kitchen was stocked well with everything we needed. I was grateful for the Keurig and coffee bonus since I forgot coffee! The neighborhood was quiet, so the windows can be open at night if that is desired, but not needed to cool off the house since the AC was perfect! The outdoor space is perfect and comfortable. Kris has created a wonderful retreat! She is easy to communicate with. When we asked questions, she was quick to respond and super friendly. We mixed up the key code, and the response was immediate! Thank you for making graduation weekend so easy to enjoy!

We had a wonderful stay at Vicki’s beautiful home! Everything was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. The back porch was a true highlight — we spent so much time out there enjoying the peaceful setting and nice golf course views. It was the perfect spot to relax and catch up. The beds were super comfortable, and the home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Vicki’s personal touches, including a handwritten welcome note and local treats, made us feel right at home. We’d absolutely recommend staying here and would love to return!

Such a cute space! We felt right at home for a quick trip to Junction for a show at Las Colonias. Close to all the things we needed. Parking was great and easy check-in/check-out process. Would stay there again!
