西村邸は、奈良町の一画に100年以上たたずむ、昔ながらの奈良町屋です。 ここは、ぼくが子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」でした。 奈良町には、ずっと変わらない心地よい鄙(ひな)びがあります。 「これからの世代に、少しでもこの心地よい鄙(ひな)びにふれて欲しい。」 そんな想いで、空き家になっていた西村邸を、手入れしました。 - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

Our house is located in a very convenient area that has a great access. 1 minute walk to “Tengachaya station” and 30 minutes by train to Kansai int’l airport from Tengachaya station. No need to carry your baggage with you for long time after your arrival at the Kansai int’l airport. In addition, only taking 4 minute by direct train to “Namba”, known as the metropolitan area of Osaka, this area is the best choice for sightseeing.

Check-in time is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Due to other work commitments, I can't accept check-ins after 5pm, but I will do my best to accommodate check-ins before 2pm Check-in is not possible on Sunday．(Staying and check-out possible) This is a guest house that is a 100-year-old Japanese traditional house that I renovated myself. The old house is 300㎡ and the field is 300㎡. Recommended for couples, solo travelers, and families.

Traditional house, Ryokan-like, 15 min. to Namba

Nice, clean Traditional Japanese house. There are a few more rules to keep old Japanese houses in good condition. I'm sorry, Not suitable for those who do not understand. Easy access to Namba (15 min) , Kansai International Airport (46 min), and Tennoji (20 min). I don’t live in this house, but my workplace is on the first floor. Sometimes we hold cultural experiences here. Don’t worry—I’m always there during the events.

One minute walk from the station where the rapid train stops to the guest house. 30 minutes to Kyoto and 15 minutes to Nara. Excellent access to tourist attractions. Parking is available, so you can also come with a rental car. There is a café and a weekend beer garden attached to the house, where you can meet the locals!
