Incredible views. Highly recommend renting a scooter to make commute up and down the hill much easier. 10/10 would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay there! Beautiful scenery and very peaceful. Home had all the necessary amenities, and the owners were very responsive to messages, helpful, and friendly. Traffic from the road could be a little loud at times, but not terrible. The room arrangement was also a little odd...we didn't realize when booking that all the rooms are in a line. So bedroom 3 has to walk through bedroom 2 to get to the bathroom, and everyone has to walk through bedroom 1 to move between the kitchen/living room and any other bedroom or bathroom. Not ideal if privacy is a priority. Overall an excellent stay and we would gladly come back again in the future!

The “Hydrangea Villa” at the very top of Villa Monti was a dream to stay in. The views were outstanding and all the windows open to hear the birds singing and allow cool breezes to flow thru (there is an excellent A/C system in this upper space as well). The downstairs bedroom & bath was just as clean, but not as cool as the “tower”. Communication pre-arrival was prompt and the onsite manager “MG” is friendly, attentive, knows Varenna well and gave us great suggestions for dinners & hikes ( do not miss hiking to the cemetery, waterfall and castle)! He carried our ( heavy!) bags up the 99 steps to our room- thank you MG!! The pool, although small was very refreshing and the area around it so pleasant to sit and gaze over Lake Como while drinking wine. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Villa Monti to anyone traveling to beautiful Varenna.

I highly recommend this place!! It was extremely clean, a comfortable bed, a beautiful view everywhere you looked, everything you would need. The house came with little treats, maps, information, and was walkable to sweet little restaurants, views etc. The hosts were SO kind, helpful and wonderful!! We would entirely stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Boat Apartment! Everything was perfect. The apartment was clean and furnished with a lot of love for detail. Silvia and Gigi welcomed us warmly and showed us everything. Everything also worked out very well for our 10-month-old daughter. We will miss the views and the flair very much. We had a wonderful stay at this apartment!the room was good , and the location was perfect. but it can be very warm in summer as there’s no AC in the rooms. it’s be a good idea on Summer a cooling fan or AC

Sabrina welcomed us with such warmth. The view is breathtaking. Something the photos could not convey. One sits on the terrasse and has the beauty of lake Como and the mountains before one. The peace, the shifting view, from the sun casting diamonds on the water to the moon reflecting on the water. All so comfortable and clean and homely with extra space from the slightly domed ceiling. Sabrina recommended places to go that made the stay magical, one being the Villa Carlotta with the extraordinary gardens. Our stay was too short to see all that is so easily accessible in that exquisite corner of our planet. We loved the stay and we would love to return. and would love to return.

With all the positive reviews, we wonder how it can be so perfect. And yet, the perfect word is not enough. Fabio is a golden person: he found me the best option to go to Varenna as there was no train; he sent me his driver because we missed our bus, he responds very quickly. For a trip, it's very important because you can rely on it. What can I say about his apartment: surely the most beautiful view of Lake Como... Thank you very much Mr. Fabio

The place was great – clean, cozy, and with a lovely view! The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Just a heads-up: be ready to walk quite a bit, as it's located on a hill. The host was very friendly and responsive, always quick to reply to any questions. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay at Claudia’s was nothing short of fabulous - her home was a highlight of our two days in Como. We were so eager to enjoy her patio and view of the city / lake we opted to eat dinner at home both nights of our stay. The home was spacious, beautifully decorated, and Claudia gave us great recommendations to make our time the best possible.

The place itself is very comfortable and had everything you need. The view of lake Como is stunning and location was great. Easy walk to shops, bus and ferry station. Denis is very proactive and helped us with finding another accommodation due a mix up of dates on our behalf. Would highly recommend to stay at this lovely apartment.

Easily the best Air BnB experience I have ever had. Rosa Katherine is tremendously kind and a true super-host. My wife and I eloped in Bellagio during our time here and Rosa made sure we had all of the necessary accommodations. The place is peaceful and luxurious with breathtaking views better than the pictures. You will definitely want a vehicle - we rented a Vespa from Roberto at Varenna Vespa Rent. It was simple and allowed us to wisp in and out of all the little lake towns and ride into the mountains a bit. The bed is super comfortable and the AC worked great, we had very high temps one day and it kept up fantastically. On top of being an incredible host - Rosa Katherine was genuinely eager to make sure that we were always taken care of with a deep level of hospitality.

What a wonderful apartment. The pictures do not do it justice. The views of the lake, its close proximity to the town centre, Stefeno as a host made this one of our most memorable and enjoyable stays! Stefeno met us at the dock when we arrived and even met us for coffee when we left. Truely a Super Host

Lovely place by the beach. The apartment is well located, just 10 minutes to the town of Bellagio. It’s near a private beach and a very nice pizza restaurant. More important, Dani and Eros are a great host. This place deserves a Superhost status! Dani helped us with the luggage (our apt was on the 2nd floor accessible only by stairs) on checking in, and explained everything to us. He also helped us with recommendations of what to do around Lake Camo, and made reservations at the restaurants. His motto is “Ask anything”, and he became our trusted virtual guide in Italy. He was very responsive. He also helped us secure a boat for a sunset cruise along the lake. Dinner was booked for us at a restaurant right next to the boat rental company to help us cap an unforgettable 2 nights at Lake Camo. Thanks Dani and Eros!

Very nice house, well equipped. I recommend this house that allows an easy departure to expeditions around Lake Como. You will be happy to come back and settle in quiet for an evening in the garden. The more sporty can witness the sunset on a digestive walk above the cottage, joining the chapel that overlooks it. I would highly recommend this lovely house for your stay.

Great, great place! And as important (more?), I great, great host! Marco is one of the truly great hosts! Location was great, place was spotless and equipped beyond expectations! I had lost my razor along the way, and to my amazement, there was an individually wrapped "shaving kit", along with other little kits of things people forget! I honestly don't recall more comfortable sleeps than my nights here! All around truly one of the best! Highly, highly recommended!

Beautiful stay with an amazing view!

This family stay went extremely well; we enjoyed Luca's accommodation, which perfectly matched the description. The charm asset: the spa and the jacuzzi with a breathtaking view of the lake 😍 A big thank you to the co-hosts Andrea and Carla for their kindness and responsiveness in the exchanges before, during and after our stay. I would recommend it in a second!

Silvia’s place is perfect for a stay in Como. The location couldn’t be better — it’s walking distance to the train station, the pier, and the bus stop to Menaggio and Bellagio. The apartment is super spacious, really clean, has a super comfy bed, and is fully equipped with everything you need. The washing machine was definitely a big plus. Silvia is incredibly kind and helpful from the very beginning. We totally recommend it — book it without a second thought!

This apartment is so big, you feel like you’re in a pent house suite. We loved this place. We were able to cook some meals in the kitchen, the deck is beautiful. We were nervous about the drive and parking. Parking was fine, no issues. Yes it is a tight squeeze - but it’s Italy, driving in general is a tight squeeze. It’s easier than other reviews have made out to be. The accomodation is further up the hill and back from the town. The drive takes about 13 minutes. Not a scary drive, just a slow one with so many turns. We loved the location as it was already so busy in town that we felt like we got to escape the crowds. You would want a car here for sure. You can’t walk down to the town. And parking and driving around was easy, not as busy as you think it would be because everyone is taking ferry’s not driving. So we were able to drive down and park and go for dinner or breakfast easily. Highly recommend this place.

Best accommodation in our entire Italy trip. The place was tastefully decorated and Dana obviously took pride in hosting! Her hospitality went above and beyond and the place was very comfortable. The lake view was beyond spectacular and the privacy was so appreciated. Thank you, Dana. We loved the place! Perfect for couples looking for a private oasis

Quiet and great place, the apartment was as described in the advertisement. We were 6 adults who had a great week in the apartment with great views. We rented bikes from @Bike it! Bellagio, very good service here too. Nice to cycle to experience new places, the ferry from Bellagio went to both sides of the lake and was easily accessible 😊

I would give this place ten stars if I could! The view is amazing. The place was just like the pictures and it was nice to have a little kitchenette. Gianluca was so kind and a great host! Definitely would recommend!
