Great for a couple that likes skiing since it's in the middle of Hafjell , Kvitfjell, and Skei. Hunderfossen Family Park , Øyer Play Park, Hafjell gondola lift is a great experience. In Fåvang you can see the ice cathedral, frozen waterfall. The road museum in islands has free entrance, where you can see many historical vehicles, etc. But most of all we have many nice nature experiences here in Gudbrandsdalen . In Gausdal, 15 km south of Skeikampen and 25 km north of Lillehammer, you will find Holthaugen Gard. Beautifully situated log cabin 10-min drive from the center of Lillehammer. Short distance to the Birkebeineren Ski Stadium, which offers an extensive network of hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks. 15-min drive to Nordseter, about 20 minutes to Sjusjøen, both with excellent trails for hiking and skiing. The ski jumping hill is 3-minute drive from the cabin and offers a great view. 5-min drive to grocery store. For alpine skiing, Hafjell is 25 min away, and Kvitfjell is about 1 hour.

Velkommen til Viking-gården Sygard Listad. Her bor du på historisk grunn. Viking-kongen Olav den Hellige bodde her i 1021, for å forberede slaget mot kongen i Gudbrandsdalen. Dette skjedde under kristninga av Norge. På gården finnes den hellige brønnen "Olavskilden". Kjøreavstand til Oslo er 250 km og det samme til Trondheim. Her kan du dra på ski i Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Gålå, nasjonalparken Jotunheimen eller Rondane. Om sommer kan du se Peer Gynt, moskus-safari eller dagstur til Geiranger.
