Doves Bay was a wonderful place to unwind. Such a treat to wake up to the beautiful view. We loved having breakfast on the deck in the morning sun, watching the tuis and fantails flit through the garden. Even heard kiwis calling at night, and the stars on a clear night are incredible. There’s a lovely walk down to the beach. Ivan and Vivienne were lovely, thoughtful hosts and the place was well-equipped, superbly clean and very comfortable.

Antje's place is a real gem. It is ideally located for exploring the Bay of Islands and is super comfortable. Antje is a wonderful host, with many local recommedations. We loved our stay and hope to be back. Highly recommended!

The Boathouse was in pristine condition and the view is stunning. We also loved watching the ferries come and go just outside. Beautiful run to Paihia and a walk back. Recommend The Blue Door in Paihia for breakfast.

Lawrence's place is the perfect base to explore Pahia, Waitangi and Russel. We had a very comfortable stay. So good to be right at the wharf and near the restaurants and shops of Pahia

The place looks right out on the beach and is an absolutely stunning view. Very easy to walk to the beach. The bed was comfy and the place was clean. Jane was very good at giving instructions to find the place and the key. She was friendly and if I had any issues I knew I would be able to ask her for help. 10/10 stay!

We stayed in Russel for almost a week with our two children (4 and 5 years) and we had a great time. The apartment is very spacious and clean and has everything you need. The location is perfect in the middle of Russel, and with the wharf and beach right around the corner. We fell in love with Russel!! It’s a very lovely and beautiful place. The host was helpful in her communication and everything went smoothly. The only downside with the apartment is that the terrass sometimes smells quite a lot from the fish- and chips place below (because the chimney is placed right next to the terrass). However - overall we loved our stay here and would highly recommend!!

What an amazing place!! Absolutely perfect location (the car stayed in the park all weekend); immaculately clean; lovely treats left for us and great pool. And incredible with check out. Loved our stay!

I have had the privilege to stay at many different Airbnbs across NZ and around the world, yet never have I come across an Airbnb like this. Beautiful scenery and location aside, this property is so thoughtfully laid out and appointed, you’d be forgiven for thinking it was a boutique hotel. An envelope with my name on it was waiting for me on the bench, with an invitation to scan a QR code. The code took me to a unique spoken welcome to the space, encouraging me to relax and unwind. Similar QR codes were dotted surreptitiously about to explain different artworks or kauri pieces. I felt so warm, welcome and honestly, appreciated. We booked with the expectation that the home would be lovely and scenic, but we left feeling incredibly well rested and so grateful for the opportunity to stay at such an exquisite place. We cannot recommend this home enough. We will be back xo

We can’t wait to come back here. We were four couples, two young children. The house and facilities gave everyone plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together. It’s a great space with plenty to do.

It's an awesome place with a spectacular view. The house is filled with amenities and all the items one will need for the stay. For us it felt like a home away from a home. A place well built and maintained. Throughly enjoyed it.

We had the best stay at Linda’s property. The quiet little town of Russel was incredible, and everything was within walking distance from the house. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed for a fantastic week. Linda is an incredible host, and was able to help us whenever we had questions. We could not recommend this place more!

We were a group of three couples (six people total), so we booked a place with three bedrooms to comfortably accommodate everyone. Sophie’s place turned out to be a great choice — all of us were very satisfied with the stay. One thing I had overlooked before booking was that there is only one bathroom (toilet, shower, and hand washing all in one space), so we had to be mindful of taking turns to avoid overlaps. Also, there were no mirrors in the bedrooms, which made it a bit inconvenient when getting ready. It would be even better if mirrors were placed inside the wardrobes or somewhere in the rooms. Only one of the three bedrooms had an oil heater, so the couple staying in that room were a bit envious by the others. ;-) Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and we’d be happy to come back the next time we travel to this area.

Had the most amazing stay here! Would highly recommend for someone looking to get off grid and have a peaceful time away! Not far from Russell town too which is just ideal, also Jack’s beach is a short walk away which feels just perfect! The sunset was also incredible! Could not recommend more! We had the perfect time!
