When built in 1952 by my late grandfather these units were offered fully furnished providing temporary housing primarily to the construction workers living away from their families working on my grandfather's construction crew. Quaint stay in heart of Wasilla

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Close to downtown Wasilla and only minutes away from restaurants. Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! NO SMOKERS please as we live here as well and don’t enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke around our home. Thank you.

Government Hill is a quiet neighborhood along side Knik Arm on a 115’ bluff. It's only 5 minutes away from downtown Anchorage allowing you to enjoy the city without having to hear the noise of it at night. We are also 2 blocks from the entrance to Elmendorf Air Force Base. Mountain views all around and if you're lucky you can see the northern lights. Short walk to Ship Creek for Salmon fishing. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

Bent Prop efficiency

This is an efficiency unit in a 4plex, queen size bed, 12 foot ceiling, shower stall, internet, desk and chair, coffee center, not a kitchen, small fridge and microwave . It is on the ground level. We are close to town, 30 minutes from Hatchers pass, lots of hiking, golf 5 minutes away, local breweries. We work hard to give a safe clean environment to stay so please no smoking or pets. (At this time late check out or early check in is not available sorry for any inconvenience

Blue Ice Aviation Lounge

We call this the "Blue Ice Aviation Lounge". It is a private upstairs apartment in my hangar. The Lounge is modern, cozy, Alaskan, and very comfortable with a slight aviation theme. We have Skeetawk ski area, and the Government Peak Recreation Area within 15 min. GPRA has lighted ski trails and biking. We live within 5 miles of 7 different public access lakes & are between Anchorage & the Matanuska Susitna Valley. There is additional off street parking for a boat and/or RV. This ground apartment is an ideal location in downtown Anchorage near restaurants, art galleries, trails. This apartment has a large bedroom with a king sized bed. The living room has a very nice sofa queen bed that will accomodate two people. I am a 5 star superhost.
