We have an excellent stay on the lake. Beautiful views and in a quieter area away from crowds!

Louise was so sweet and her home is a little gem with the BEST bathtub EVER in the bedroom. Such a cool place and very roomie for a couple. Beautiful decor! Love the interior design touches mixing the old stone with more modern elements. The only negative was finding parking. Luckily we found a little spot all the way down the hill in front of the school….but this is Lake Como so we’re used to hiking up the hill!:) Just an FYI for anyone with mobility issues. We loved our stay and especially loved our meals out on the deck and also enjoyed Villa Lario built into the cliff just below. Fun experience:) We’d love to return sometime!

Absolutely beautiful! The view is extraordinary and the Airbnb is clean with good utensils in the kitchen. Davide and Kerry also gave really fast answers. Amazing!

Casa Sarina is very nice and quiet and has a fantastic view over Lake Lugano. In the village of Carona there is a small kiosk that provides everything for everyday needs. For larger purchases, however, you have to drive into the valley via the serpentine road. From the property you can either walk directly or take wonderful walks through Vico Morcote to Morcote or Monte San Salvatore after a short drive by car. The place was very clean and as described by the landlord. Markus and Anna are very loving hosts and have enriched our stay with many tips. We would choose this accommodation again anytime.

The little house is a five star property with clean and comfortable furniture, amazing garden and breath taking lake views. We had all the amenities we needed for the entire stay and kathi have been very helpful. If you book this property, prepare to have an amazing private space but prepare to walk down some stairs to reach the little house.

Such a historic, peaceful and walkable place. Market, 3restaurants and boat dock close for boat tours. Eros and Daniel were some of most helpful and responsive hosts I have seen. They live a block away. Will always cherish sitting on lawn at dusk watching lake Como lights come on

The view was amazing, and Emanuele was extremely hospitable! Easy walk to the funicular and to some local restaurants. Would recommend!

Despite bad weather, we spent a very relaxed week in this very idyllically located cozy house. The house is carefully renovated and tastefully furnished. The location is unique: all alone on a clearing in the forest. We will be happy to come back.

The house is lovely, very quiet surroundings, hosts were very helpful to get the lagguage at home considering a 100 steps tat needs to be climbed, but it’s worth it, felt at home and quiet spacious home… enjoyed our stay a lot

We had a wonderful one-night stay in this beautiful and spacious apartment in Lugano. The view of the lake was absolutely stunning, and the whole place felt peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen was spotless and modern, and every detail in the apartment was clean and thoughtfully arranged. It’s located in a very quiet area, yet super close to the Lugano train station, which made our departure so easy. There were even toys and games for our children to enjoy. The air conditioning was a huge plus during the hot summer evening. Solongo, our host, was incredibly responsive and attentive, making everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommended we would definitely stay again!

This apartment is so big, you feel like you’re in a pent house suite. We loved this place. We were able to cook some meals in the kitchen, the deck is beautiful. We were nervous about the drive and parking. Parking was fine, no issues. Yes it is a tight squeeze - but it’s Italy, driving in general is a tight squeeze. It’s easier than other reviews have made out to be. The accomodation is further up the hill and back from the town. The drive takes about 13 minutes. Not a scary drive, just a slow one with so many turns. We loved the location as it was already so busy in town that we felt like we got to escape the crowds. You would want a car here for sure. You can’t walk down to the town. And parking and driving around was easy, not as busy as you think it would be because everyone is taking ferry’s not driving. So we were able to drive down and park and go for dinner or breakfast easily. Highly recommend this place.

The place is really great, one of the best places I have ever stayed in, dealing with the host was very wonderful and responsive 👍 the check in it was very smooth and the safety rate in the place is high, you can walk to restaurants and shopping, everything is close especially for people who like to walk, I really enjoyed my stay and if I had the chance again, I would stay in it without a doubt..!

We enjoyed the stay with Franziska to the fullest. Such a beautiful place - a charming garden, the surroundings wonderful - what more could you want... we had made a stopover on the way back from southern Italy with our 3 children. We stayed at Alice’s apartment in Gandria, just outside Lugano, and absolutely loved it. The apartment is beautifully situated with a breathtaking view of Lake Lugano—it’s truly the highlight of the place. Waking up to that serene lake scene every morning was unforgettable. The apartment itself was clean, well-equipped, and cozy—perfect for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Even though it rained for much of our stay, the space was so comfortable that we didn’t mind spending extra time indoors, just enjoying the view and peaceful atmosphere. Alice was a thoughtful and responsive host, providing clear instructions and helpful tips about the area. The location is ideal for those looking to unwind away from the busier city center, while still being close enough to enjoy everything Lugano has to offer. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat with unbeatable lake views. I’d definitely stay here again—hopefully with sunnier weather next time!

Place was as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The host was friendly and responsive, making the experience smooth.

Best way to describe this location is STUNNING! The views are breath taking - more beautiful in person than the photos! We loved our stay - hard to beat having morning coffee & evening wine surrounded by such beauty! The night view when the lights appear is as beautiful as the day view! A car was necessary but well worth it. David was a very responsive and helpful host & we would definitely stay again if we have that opportunity!

Enrica (AKA Kikka) is a delightful woman who cares about her guests and does everything to make them feel at home. She responded very quickly to any of our questions and needs. She had great suggestions for restaurants, activities and site seeing outings, all listed in an informative book on the kitchen table. The view from the room is magical, almost beyond description, as you look out on to Lake Como both day and especially night! Alessia was a wonderful and responsive host. She met us at check in and was very flexible with our arrival time. She helped us to get settled and immediately offered us some lunch recommendations and even helped us set up a boat tour to go on during our trip. Definitely ask her about this! The space was spotless and exactly as pictured. Parking was easy and free. One thing to note is that you should be prepared for the steep hill you need to climb to get back to the apartment! Do not underestimate it! But overall this was a lovely stay with an amazing host with GORGEOUS lake views and a huge balcony.

beautiful location. i prefer varnessa to belagio. flat is just the right size for a couple. if there's anything I want to mention is that it's in a much higher location than I expected. one would definitely need a car for more frequent visit to the town below. the host is so friendly and always available and responsive.

Had a great time at this apartment! The place is perfectly in line with the description: clean, well decorated and very well equipped. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need to cook, and the bathroom is impeccable.

This place was the perfect place to stay if you want a beautiful view of the lake and to be in a quiet neighbourhood. There was pros and cons with the location (cons- trouble finding a taxi to and from the train station and not much in close walking distance & pros- beautiful view, right beside the C30 bus stop) but if you’re up for adventure and fully able bodied it’s worth it! We bought some groceries in Como after spending a the day there and had dinner one night in, walked down the stairs by the bus stop to the lake level for dinner at Ristorante Vapore sul Lago di Como and spent a day at the Lido di Faggeto Miamilaryo, which was a beautiful beach club with good food and drinks. The house was everything we needed and the view had us speechless the whole time. The hosts were quick to respond and help when we had questions. We would highly recommend this stay!
