Amazing beachfront view. House was well furnished and clean. Instructions were clear, not a problem checking in. Everything you might need is provided. Awesome stay! Would recommend!

We had a wonderful weekend and created some truly beautiful memories in this stunning home. The fireplace was a lovely touch, especially during the chilly mornings and evenings. The kitchen was modern, stylish and very practical, with a massive island bench that worked perfectly for our group. It made cooking and sharing meals together so easy and enjoyable. The hosts were readily available through the Airbnb app whenever we had questions, and they graciously allowed us a slightly later check-out as we were having such a beautiful weekend. The instructions for using the house facilities and checking out were clear and really helpful. The spa pool was amazing and added an extra layer of relaxation to an already perfect weekend. I will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

This is beyond a 5 star stay. Steve and Silv's place was modern, with esthetics and modern touches that pleases the eye, even in the smallest places. You are situated in such a secluded, private area, with too tier amenities like a fire pit, hot tub, and pizza oven (They even gave us fresh pizza dough!). We even got to feed their alpacas which is such a crazy experience! The sunrise and sunset views are magical. Steve and silv have an oasis here, with multiple things that you can do right as you step foot out of the property. They even have a wood shop with stunning items. Thank you Steve and Silv, we'll be back soon, I'm sure anyone reading this will say the same after they experience the magic!

Amazing stay, I just didn’t understand the cooking part next time will ask what it means when thing to bring my own cooking materials as there is no stove other than that had a wonderful stay with such an amazing view.

We had a truly magical time staying at Karl’s hidden gem on the beach front, we were blessed with stunning sunrises and sunsets from one mountain to another over the sea, we felt right at home here, the beachfront was truly spectacular, private and the home was so cozy and so special to be in, we are very grateful for the experience, we had the best time with lots to do and explore in the area, we were constantly blown away by how beautiful and special it was

Great host and very good communication, we felt warmly welcomed. The view from the deck and the rooms was beautiful. The place was spacious enough for our small family. The place is cosy, fully equipped and has everything you need. Cafe and Fish and Chips are just down the road. Beautiful surroundings, with plenty to do. We would definitely recommend.

Giles and Niamh were absolutely fantastic hosts, so very friendly and easy to talk to, easy to communicate with and made check in and check out easy. The place is tucked down a driveway and plenty of room for our car. The view was lovely from the unit and easy to go for a nice walk from, literally a few minutes to the Harbor. Also not far from town or local shops. It is immaculate inside and perfect size for two people. The bed had clean linen and super comfy. The bathroom was immaculate and the shower had great water pressure. The room was very warm and cozy, it did have an air conditioning unit but we didn't need it even through it was miserable weather as the unit is so warm. Nice little kitchen area, fridge, microwave, toaster, jug etc. Little lounge with a couch, tv and dining room table and chairs. Lots of local brochures on the table with places to visit. This will be our go to when we are back up in Whangarei as they were such lovely hosts with great accommodation.

Stunning week away over Easter. We arrived a few hours after a cyclone, which meant no power and water. Anneke was great with all communication about the situation. We chose to stay hoping the power would be back on soon. The next day it was. Meanwhile, Anneke bought us wine and coffee and then arranged a generator so we could shower and charge phones etc. Then we had six glorious days of sunshine with the odd shower. We love walking, so explored all the local walks in the booklets and info guide. Every afternoon we relaxed on the deck just watching the ocean and boats. We ended our days with an outdoor bath, which was Devine. Anneke was a wonderful host. A true legend. The Bach was beautiful, clean, new and private. Highly recommend.

A lovely place! I had been experiencing some stress recently, so this was a great place to come to unwind. I thrashed it out on the nearby Mt Manaia- handy being in the area! Recommended. Plus shops etc not to far away by car. Comfy bed, clean, and just generally awesome. I should have read the place name properly/ used my common sense....couldn't go kayaking because of the tide (was low in the late afternoon and morning)- my fault for not figuring that out!! Just have to come back then 😉 Thanks guys, awesome place.

Second time I’ve stayed at Hayley’s. Easy to access, peaceful, clean, tidy and has thoughtful touches that make the stay pleasant and comfortable.

Well I must say in our opinion, this is the best spot in Mangawhai Heads, beautiful views from the unit of the beach in front. The unit is awesome, with everything you need. We stayed as a couple, but the unit has room for a family. Easy access to beach and short walk to surf beach and walking trails. Paul was excellent to deal with, great communication and direction Thanks again

Leanne was a wonderful host; excellent with communication and very helpful. The accomodation has a stunning view and is beautifully kept - comfortable, clean and just right for our stay (a two-nighter). The location was excellent; close to the city which has wonderful restaurants - of note The Quay. Highly recommended.

Second time I have stayed here. A nice relaxing place in the country. Perfect for a get away. Having a washing machine and dryer is always a bonus. Chocolates on arrival, a welcome treat. I found the bed perfect for my liking. Will be back again, as good location for day trips up to Bay of Islands and other surrounding areas.

Mark & Leone were great hosts --- very responsive, accommodating and helpful. Check-in process was simple and with clear instructions. The studio apartment was clean, comfortable, quiet and private, with amazing views and an almost private beach on the doorstep ----- a simple and wonderful place to relax!
