Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Paw Paw Lake

This house was so beautiful and was a perfect place to spend a girl’s weekend! Would recommend over and over again and would definitely stay here again! Mike was also very quick at responding (even on the weekend) and when something wasn’t right he was very quick it fix it.

We loved staying at this charming school house. It is a little out of town but it was quaint and peaceful. We felt like we got a beach vacation and a nature vacation all rolled up in one. The hot tub was a nice touch! The Airbnb had absolutely everything we could need including trash bags, laundry detergent, and even coffee. We would recommend to anyone not wanting to stay downtown.

This is the second time we've stayed in Nancy's lovely home and we hope to return soon! The contemporary style features high ceilings and enormous windows overlooking a wooded lot and a graceful dune. The generous size of the living area and kitchen made it easy for our family to hang out together after a day in the Indiana Dunes National Park. You're only minutes from the lake, great hiking, and a restaurant we really enjoyed (Goblin and the Grocer) but the secluded, private setting makes you feel as if you're in the middle of nowhere ... perfect for city folks trying to get away from it all. Nancy is a great host, and her home features plenty of thoughtful touches to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. After a day of hiking and exploring, it was wonderful to return to this tranquil place. We can't wait to go back!

The excellent taste of the hosts sets this rental apart from the rest. The decor in the home is beautifully curated. When you combine that with the views, it's a perfect vacation spot! We were grateful to be able to return for our fourth visit to Charles and Jeremy's home. Thank you for sharing it with us--we love it!

Gina, our host, was incredibly welcoming and kind. She sent updates prior to our visit with local recommendations for things to do, restaurants to dine at, and also knew it was our anniversary so left us a welcome gift at the house, which was so generous and thoughtful. The house is so clean and contemporary and just beautiful with all the comforts of home. We loved our stay there and hope to be back again soon.

This place gets straight A's. The surroundings are beautiful. I can't imagine a more peaceful place! The gorgeous lakefront is just a few minutes walk away. The home itself is spacious and well-stocked. Enjoyed the porch swing in front and the screened in porch in back. Will be back!

This place is even more magical in person and perfectly accommodated our group of 10! We loved it so much that we looked to book again this summer, but it was all full. Hopefully will return next year—everything was perfect! The house is clean, has so much space, all of the amenities you could need, and the view/ beach was so beautiful. Highly recommend staying here—we can’t say enough good things!

The place was amazing, very cozy Airbnb and for a great price! The view of the property from the Airbnb was beautiful and gives off farmhouse vibes, space was great for my family and I! We had some friends and family over and everyone was comfortable in the space and it didn’t feel cramped ! Very beautiful place with great home owners!

We had an amazing time! Me and my boyfriend stayed for one night, the patio and dock were super cozy and we really enjoyed sitting out there at night just listening to music and having some drinks. Super nice area, the beach isn't too far and they have some fun bars and restaurants in the area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay! The home had all the comforts of home and the right kitchen tools we needed to make a couple of meals including a BBQ.

I can’t speak highly enough of Lynette and the accommodations. Lynette was a very responsive, communicative host. The extra touches she put into the stay were noticed and appreciated. The accommodations were sparkling clean, ultra comfortable and matched the listing photos and description perfectly. The property location was extremely serene. Beautiful house perfect for our girls getaway, however, it was s very tight squeeze for 12 since 2 adults on a double bunk didn’t really work but there was lots of couch space & the couches were so comfortable! The house was very updated & clean. It was perfect for our girls getaway & downtown Saugatuck was so fun!

This was our second stay at Hany’s place, and we would come back a third time! Nice house with a few quirks in a great location. The outdoor space and hot tub is great for Michigan weather any time of the year, and inside there is plenty of space for our family of four. The location is wonderful, with all of Saugatuck within just a few blocks. We will definitely consider staying here again next time we’re headed to Michigan!

the house was exactly as described! such a cute and cozy house with an incredible yard, plenty of comfortable beds and nice linens. great location and really responsive host as well!

We had a lovely family reunion at St Joe’s overlook. Kitchen came with literally everything- all sorts of cooking instruments (crock pot, air fryer, toaster etc), spices/oils, and zip lock bags for leftovers. All brand new appliances and ample prep space. We got the pool heated and it was wonderful! Very large size to fit all the family kids. The hot tub was a nice save for the adults who were freezing. Beautiful views from the living room of the river with ample and comfy seating. The home was perfect for a large gathering. We appreciate Evan and Claire hosting us they were always responsive and helpful.

This place was awesome, a beautiful cottage in the woods with a fire pit, hot tub, walking paths, and just 5 minutes from downtown. My only feedback is about the room setup. The listing shows a room with two bunks, but it’s actually an open loft with one bunk bed. It’s not a private room, so don’t count it as a secluded space. When I book a house, it’s really important that everyone has a quiet room to return to, so I was a little disappointed that some guests got shorted on that. Honestly, it might have affected my decision to book. Otherwise, the stay was beautiful and peaceful, I’d definitely come back!

John and Valentino have a beautiful home that is welcoming and comfortable. Their yard is large and ready for company. The fire pit is perfectly placed, the bbq makes it easy to cook for a crowd. And if it is a crowd you’re cooking for, the weather need not matter… the two kitchens allow for lots of cooking no matter the time of year. Rarely do I find a comfortable bed when I travel, but John and Valentino have it. Downtown was a few minutes drive away. There is a large playground right downtown which had tons of kids playing! With lots of shopping and restaurant options, cooking is not required. Definitely stop by the Farmhouse Deli in Douglas. The home felt comfortable and also elegant. We were so pleased to stay with them and hope to do so again.

Bruce & Carol were excellent hosts anticipating needs while going above and beyond to make the stay special. The home has beautiful landscaping and gardens. Plenty of room for children to run and play. The breeze from the lake can be enjoyed throughout the home. The house has lake front views throughout the main rooms. The home is positioned ideally for guests with 3 separate living spaces and an open kitchen to the main gathering space that opens to the deck and grill. The walk to St. Joseph is less than a mile and we completed this enjoyable walk daily. Farmer market operates every Saturday during the summer with concerts on Sunday evenings all in walking distance of home. The private beach is beautiful and hosts shared paddle boards and beach toys to add to experience. We enjoyed sunset walks to the lighthouse pier. The internet is fast and reliable for those looking to work away from home with 2-3 possible office locations in home. We would return here again.
