Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Pelkosenniemi

We had a great time in Kare's lovely house. Kare is very friendly and always ready to help us if needed. The house is one of the best I had ever been to on vacation!

Our stay at Tarja and Scott’s house was one of the best adventures of our lives. Even before the trip, they were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had everything we needed. The house was cozy and warm, with plenty of firewood. There is also a beautiful kota near the house where we could cook on the fire and watch the northern lights. We were lucky to see the aurora five nights in a row. Scott also gave us great advice about hiking and kindly let us stay a bit longer on our last day. Before we left, we had a nice talk and learned more about his life. We will always remember this peaceful place by the lake and hope to return one day. :)

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

Very lovingly furnished AirBnB in a great location. Walking in about 10-15 minutes you are in the city center and yet the location of the accommodation is very quiet. The kitchen was super equipped and it was very cozy. There were cozy slippers, a fireplace, and a selection of games. The beds were very comfortable too. We had a great time and highly recommend the place. :)

Pasi is a very responsive and friendly host. The house is typical and at the same time very pleasant with all the necessary comforts, the bedding is of good quality and there is everything you need in the house and nearby. We recommend and thank Pasi for our stay.

Sanna's place is amazing.. great facilities and complete amenities. heated floor. fire place. Sanna is very helpful and fast response when you ask anything. She even have two wall clock. One for the time in rovaniemi, and the other she set it for the time from our country. Don't forget to ask to meet Mintaka the Husky if you get a chance to stay at Sanna's place.

The house is very large and cozy. The highlight is being immersed in the snow in a context of tranquility. Quiet and well-equipped apartment!

A beautiful villa in a stunning setting. Would love to return one day.

Thank you for a great stay with you! It was great! We stayed there for five days, could see aurora lights every night and had a lot of fun exploring the area. The accommodation is easily accessible by bus and thanks to some preparation we were able to cook and eat excellently in the well-equipped kitchen. An absolute highlight was also the lunch cooked by the residents, followed by bingo. We would like to say a big thank you. It was very cozy with you!

We stayed at Laura’s cozy home for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at her place. Her lovely home had everything we needed and so much more. It was spotlessly clean with helpful info throughout to make us feel welcome. The sauna was wonderful. The location is beautiful and in the middle of nature, with many trails. We even saw the Northern Lights! Easy access to/from the City Center by bus. Grocery within walking distance. All communications with Laura were very fast, helpful and informative. She is a terrific host! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Quiet relaxing location. Very nice and accommodating hosts.

A beautiful little rustic wooden hut in the middle of the national park. The location is excellent, you can walk to the supermarket and restaurants as well as to the ski slope or beautiful hiking trails in no time. The hut was clean, the bathroom and sauna are great. The living and sleeping area is rather functional, everything is quite cramped. The kitchen could possibly use a little renovation. But we still had 2 great days and for our stay it was completely fine. I would recommend that sensitive sleepers bring a sleep mask and earplugs. The house cannot be darkened in summer and there is a very loud ticking clock that can rob you of sleep.

Really beautiful apartment! Worth taking if you want a little luxury in your accommodation! The eye rested and took beautiful photos. But for a little bigger size I don't recommend because of the bed; it was small and squeaky and the blanket was small for two.

We had a wonderful time at Eija‘s place and were able to make most of our winter trip to Finland. The accommodation is very cosy and perfect for a relaxing holiday! We really enjoyed staying there and are looking forward to returning!

We had the second time in this lovely place. This home has a pleasant decor. Clean, clear, and clean. Good beds for sleeping, clean good quality blankets and pillows. All the necessary equipment can be found in the kitchen and elsewhere. We got an ironing board when we needed it. Absolutely brilliant service. I can highly recommend.

Minna is the best host! So nice and always ready to help with good recommendations, always responsive. We stay at her place for a second year in a row and it always feels like home. It’s calm, cosy, we love the sauna and the view of the frozen river right in front. We watched the aurora almost every night from the cottage and it was breathtaking. Will definitely be coming back again next winter!

It was a very pleasant stay at Alexey's cabin. The accommodation has everything listed and is very comfortable. The only thing to note is that sometimes access by car can be difficult, but the machines remove the snow periodically.

A really beautiful half of a semi-detached house! Well decorated. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room is beautiful and cozy and the sauna provided good steam. A particularly big plus is the bedroom's blackout curtain. Communication with the host is easy and straightforward. Very warm recommendation!

I had an incredible time at Riitta’s charming cabin. She welcomed us warmly, allowed an early check-in, and explained everything about the cabin, sauna, and activities. The cabin was small and simple, yet comfortable, with a cozy bed, warm blankets, and a window offering a stunning sky view. Heating is wood-fired (lasting ~3 hours), the bathroom is outside, and there’s no electricity (Riitta can lend lanterns). Bring your own food—there’s a gas stove, cookware, and a 5L water container provided. We were lucky to witness two nights of breathtaking Northern Lights, watching them dance across the sky and even falling asleep with the aurora visible through the window—truly magical! The sauna was another highlight: a traditional Finnish experience with optional cold dips and hot water baths. You can also snowshoe, ski, sled, or enjoy a cozy barbecue with equipment provided by Riitta. Everything was exceptional! Thank you, Riitta, for the kindness and unforgettable memories.

The cottage matched the description and was in a quiet location. It was easy to find and the cottage road was in good condition. The beach meets the Simojoki river at a suitable point, when the flow is calm. After swimming, it was nice to go to the gentle sauna 🙂

Second time at this cabin. Still, everything works prematurely, and communicating with Ate is easy and quick. The cottage and surroundings match the renter's description A strong recommendation if you like the peace of nature and like to be on your own.
