Had an amazing stay at the pod! The place was spotless when we arrived, very private and peaceful. Can’t express how nice the pods are will defiantly book again but for a full weekend

We had a couple of very relaxing days away at this cozy lodge. Would definitely return, great surroundings and a nice town close by. Clean and well equipped lodge with great views all round.

Maaz was a great host and the place was lovely! It’s exactly like the pictures, if not better. My girls and I had a great time and this place was perfect for a little getaway to relax and sit back!

Vicky is a wonderful host, was always responsive to messages and didn’t hesitate to go the extra mile for me when I had special requests for our stay. The location is amazing with a railway station right at the back of the lodge. Inside the lodge itself was beautiful and very clean and the highlight for me and my fiancée was the hot tub. We absolutely loved our stay there and had the absolute best time and cannot wait to return there in the future.

My partner and I had a really lovely time, the chateaus are discreet and private while being impressively large and welcoming. The site is very well maintained and beautifully presented. We look forward to our next visit.

The lodge was 10/10 and listed accurately. As soon as we arrived it felt like home, very cosy and relaxing. The place was clean and the hot tub was a nice addition! (Although it gets very hot so you have to watch the temp!) The animals were friendly and I love that you can meet them. The Pygmy goats, Annie and Steven were very friendly neighbours :)

Place was amazing and perfect for a lil getaway. Lodge was lovely, a home from home. The FLUFFIEST towels you have ever touched in your life! Hot tub was brilliant and the added touch of towelling robes and slippers which was so thoughtful. Binoculars provided too if you want to nosey at some birdies. The property felt private even though there were houses close by. Jason was great a responding and always friendly. Will visit again.

Just Wow 🤩! We were absolutely blown away on arrival to the accommodation. It smelt clean and it was ! From the luxurious soft furnishings to the comfortable and elegant decor. The accommodation provides everything you need for a relaxing stay . The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. A real home from home . We are fortunate enough to have a beautiful home and struggle to find a place that matches our lifestyle and expectations. However we are happy to say that we have found one ! The spa is excellent and a nice touch to enhance your stay . Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us , we will be delighted to stay again soon x

We really enjoyed our stay, shame it wasn't for longer! The cabin was warm, cosy & comfortable & well equipped for it's size. Having a BBQ & fire pit was a great addition which we loved. We would definitely stay again & recommend.

Lovely lodge close to amenities and plenty to see and do. The welcome book with places to see and eat was brilliant. Very clean lodge and the extra little touches was an added bonus. Christine was always available for any questions. We would stay there again.

The host was so lovely and responsive, such a peaceful picturesque place just away from anything busy so it’s just quiet and beautiful, knaresborough is also really close so it’s easy getting to any food spots or walks close by, it was honestly perfect

What an amazing place to spend a lovely few days to celebrate a special birthday! Charlotte is a fabulous host and was more than happy to answer any questions we had.  We were provided with clear directions to guide us right to the lodge, and there was lots of very helpful information about the lodge, the surrounding area and attractions. On our arrival the lodge was immaculately presented and well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The lodge was very spacious and comfortably accommodated 7 adults and our Border Collie. It felt welcoming and homely, and Charlotte had put a lot of care and attention into preparing the lodge ready for our stay. My family and I were blown away by the  stunning views of the lake, and the hot tub was a bonus. We even had a visit from a family of swans who were keen to show off their beautiful baby cygnet. Thank you for letting us have the pleasure in staying at your fabulous Lodge. We will certainly be back, hopefully soon!

What a relaxing, beautifully appointed and tastefully accessorised lodge. We had everything that we possibly could need and the lodge was clean throughout. Additional garden was a bonus had the weather been better. We will definitely consider booking again in the future. Thanks Alma.

We loved our stay at The Hivehaus. Tucked away in the Lancashire countryside, it’s peaceful, quirky, and full of charm. The design is eclectic and welcoming, with everything you need—tea, coffee, milk, pastries, and even a bottle of wine on arrival. Essentials like washing up liquid, toilet roll, and kitchen roll were all provided, plus loads of crockery and cutlery. Ed and Barry are fantastic hosts—kind, helpful, and respectful of your space. They also have two lovely, spirited dogs. We adored them, but if you're not a dog person, just let Ed know and she’ll keep them out of the way. The views from the top of the garden are beautiful and well worth the short walk. If you're after peace, comfort, and great hospitality, this place is for you. We can’t wait to go back—The Hivehaus is something really special.

Amazing few days, outstanding views and comfortable accommodation. Gabby was a fantastic host, responsive and helpful. Would certainly recommend and will return on our next visit to the Ribble Valley.

absolutely amazing cabin very cosy home from home feel . hot tub was amazing after long days walking the lakes. the cabin was lovely and clean. beds was really comfortable and clean linen. the little added bits like washing up liquid hand wash ect was such a bonus.

We’ve had a wonderful few days at Rebecca’s property and absolutely recommend others to book. Everything you need to prepare meals is available, the beds are comfy, bathrooms spotlessly clean and the extra touches such as toiletries and a wonderful welcome basket made the holiday a real treat right from walking in the door. A variety of furniture on the verandah suits all ages and abilities. My mum is elderly and thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on a chair under the parasol to watch the various birds on the lake. Beautiful fairy lights add a sparkle to evenings over the lake. We tried the on-site restaurant one evening and the meal was delicious and reasonably priced. A visit to Bowness and sail on the boats plus a trip on the Haverthwaite railway was a great day out. All in all a wonderful relaxing few days in a beautiful lodge on a lovely site. We absolutely will look to book again.

on arrival Anne was the perfect host ,the accommodation and surrounding area was beautiful we couldn't have felt more at home or comfortable,I would not hesitate in recommending this perfect hideaway to anyone and can't wait to return .

A lovely lodge for a brief escape from work/busy lives! Clean, well-equipped and comfortable lodge a few metres away from the lake. Sitting out on the deck reading a book was magic! Kitchen had all the tools we needed, decent sized fridge and freezer. Spare pillows and blankets if needed. 5 minute walk to main facilities, tennis court, leisure facilities and the bar/restaurant. We enjoyed kayaking, swimming, tennis and the kids loved the arcades.

Kathryn was a nice host and the lodge was really nice and felt like a home. Easy access as well to the motorway when you’re driving to go to the main tourist spots like Windermere, it’s also near the grocery stores. Has a clear instructions on how to reach their lodge, and was able to cater our needs when I need to adjust the dates. Would highly recommend her holiday home!
