Great place to stay if you want to explore surrounding area, including Ullswater. The accommodation exceeded my expectations, which contributed to our stay. Pauline, the host was extremely helpful and accommodating. My family and I would return in a heart beat.

Would fully recommend staying at Helen's place. The accomodation is really spacious and has everything you need, and is a good base for the local area. Helen is really responsive and is a great host.

Fabulous home from home, within walking distance of the town, great local pubs with top class food. Lots of Bus routes to some great places and beautiful walks, what a great place many thanks for letting us stay
