Hand Built Log Cabin

This cabin was completed in 1940 by previous owner's grandmother with only the help of her horses. The wood was cut from the property. Originally it had no electric or plumbing, we updated it more in 2021 keeping as much original as possible. Rustic cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with walk-in shower only, washer and dryer, full eat in kitchen and living room. On site you can relax watching horses, mini horses, goats, chickens & ducks as well as wild life. You can feed and pet the 🐐 goats.

FUNKS INN-no extra guest fees or cleaning fee

This house was built in 1870, it is a stone structure and was used as a family farm home. It has been remodeled for its use today. It is historically correct, which includes antiques of the time. Post Civil War era, furniture including the beds of this period. Another interesting aspect, is that the floors are all original. Mattresses, blankets pillows, bedding and towels are all new. The wine cellar that we have added, made on location. I always leave some out for guests. No fee.

Located 2 miles off rt. 151 in Shawnee National forest. The cabin is along tree line just west of Crazy Joe’s Fish House. Restaurant is open at 4pm Wednesday, Friday and Saturday Guests receive $10 food voucher with stay 1bedroom cabin with queen bed, living room with queen sleeper sofa. The Silo Farm Haus is a one of a kind grain silo custom designed into a beautiful, rustic home that sits on a 200 acre farm located in the heart of Sainte Genevieve wine country! The house has nearly 800 sq ft of a truly unique, round house experience. An upstairs, spacious loft features a queen size bed, & antique furniture. Downstairs has a full size eat-in kitchen, laundry room, bathroom and cozy living room. An air mattress is available to sleep 2 guests in the living room.
