Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

Village house located in the heart of the volcanoes and lakes of Auvergne, shops in the village (tobacco, grocery, restaurant etc. ideal for hiking gr 30, Vulcania amusement park 1 hour away. 20 minutes from the ski slopes. The famous Saint-Nectaire, Cantal, Fourme d'Ambert cheeses from Auvergne await you in the surrounding farms and shops, duvet covers and towels are provided, a plancha is at your disposal, a secure park 300 m from the house for children

Towels, sheets, and cleaning included

Total price includes bed sheets, towel and tea towel. You will stay in an apartment for 4 people plus a baby (cot and high chair provided) of 55 m2 with balcony on the 2nd and top floor (no elevator). It consists of a kitchen, two bedrooms, a living room and a bathroom/toilet (clawfoot bathtub). The house is composed of 2 apartments. Ours is on the 1st floor. We remain as discreet as possible to give you maximum use of the house and garden.

The Super-Besse resort, 7 km away, is served by regular shuttle bus in season. Many hiking trails leave directly from the heart of the city.
