This accommodation is clean, comfortable and very well equipped. There are lots of lovely local walks and a couple of convenience stores and pubs within walking distance. There are lots location is peaceful with a nice outdoor courtyard garden. Occasionally footsteps can be heard from above the bedroom due to the accommodation being underneath part of the owner’s home.

Beautiful lodge in a lovely village location. The accommodation is just out of the village centre (10 minute walk to the pub and convenience store) and completely undisturbed by noise. Very relaxing spending time in the garden and just unwinding. Lovely looking accommodation with all the facilities necessary to have a good time. Very helpful host too.

We absolutely loved this stay. The property in the form of a luxurious houseboat was very unique. Sue and Alex were brilliant - super responsive comms and they'd thought of everything we needed in the property. We appreciated them meeting us on arrival to explain how everything worked. Loads to do in the area, although I found it hard to tear myself away from the spectacular river views from the large lounge area and terrace. I'd 100% recommend this place and would love to return.

A perfect place to relax and unwind. Private surroundings , throw the doors open and connect with nature. Early morning deer, rabbits, and an entertaining cock pheasant protecting his territory. Thoroughly enjoyed exploring locally and further afield. Used the foot ferry to Harwich and a glorious barge trip on the,Orwell, a beautiful river. Thank you Sally for a lovely stay.
