Beautiful, immaculate, unique “underground” home. nice private lot and peaceful surroundings. Very happy with all the amenities. Appreciated the “welcome” basket with snacks and waters, even included something for our pups! Enjoyed our stay, just wish it had been longer!

Davids house is a true gem and was quite a peaceful place to stay.

This place is gorgeous. We visited for a surprise birthday party and have considered making this an annual trip. We felt safe having our kids explore, which there was plenty to explore! The trails are well kept, the bridge is so cute, and the waterfall is so relaxing. We walked the trail several times. The fruit orchard is great. My kids LOVED walking around and eating fruit and collecting eggs. The weather wasn’t the most friendly, but we enjoyed the variety of available games in the kitchen area and had a great time. We had enough firewood to burn wood for 2 nights. It’s a great venue.

This was the most unique & most amazing Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The renovation/restoration kept all Of the details of the original house but added in modern amenities seamlessly. This was also the cleanest house we have ever stayed in. I would definitely recommend staying here & will definitely stay here again! The pictures do not do it justice…you have to experience it to see all of the amazing details!!

Perfect space in a perfect place. Stunning views. Total privacy with easy access to stores, restaurants, and all the outdoor activities available in the greater Ashville area. We were so enamored with the property, however, that we spent most of our time there. Claire was extremely responsive and helpful, and the house was clean and ready to enjoy upon arrival. There is a notebook of information about the house and the property; it also contains suggestions for area activities and businesses. We would return without hesitation. We were sad to leave!

David and Myla’ were the best host I have ever experienced. I love art, nature, spirit, and architecture. I had no idea how amazing our stay would turn out. One of the most amazing facets of this place is the flow of energy. David has brought fundamental symbolism to life. Each room is designed with purpose and unique features lined through art and mediaThe earth house is equatable to Falling Waters by Frank Lloyd Wright. Although this house is not famous yet on the same level because David wants the house to function in the spiritual nature of its design as the presence encourages people in their journey and on their path toward light, this most definitely will be a museum one day or known as the Labyrinth by Edgar Cayce in Virginia Beach It was an extreme blessing and honor that I was able to stay there. A perfect way to spend a peaceful weekend. A hobbit themed home with so many wonderful items related to the books/movies. Highly recommend for LOTR fans and anyone wanting to get away yet close to town, stores and restaurants.

Annie was very responsive and The Meadow is a wonderful place to spend time with friends and family away from the city. The greenery around the property was really beautiful and we had the occasional sighting of the deer 🦌. I loved the open floor setting and every room was properly furnished. The instructions for check in a check out were straightforward and I’ll definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a place to retreat in the area.

My family and I had such a great time at Cary’s this past weekend. It was so quiet out there. Cary was a great host. The place was spotless and she was very responsive with messages. It rained all weekend, like flooding everywhere type rain, and Cary checked in on us to make sure we were safe and that meant a great deal to me. We will definitely be back this summer!

Loved this place! Michelle was responsive and had someone drop off a lighter after we let her know the property didn't have one for the fire pit. Kids loved all the details in the home. Comfy beds and lovely decorations. My only comment is that we showed up at 4pm and the housekeeper was still vacuuming, so that slightly detracted from the magic of entering the Hobbit hole, as it was a surprise for my husband and we wanted to have as much time as possible at the home. However, it makes sense that she was finishing up - it is a large property that I am sure takes a lot of time to clean (and it was very clean) . She was done within 5 to 10 minutes of our arrival. We never did figure out how you were supposed to walk 20 minutes to the lake (listing mentioned a 20 minute walk to the lake) as Google maps didn't have a very direct way to get there, but we spent most of the time enjoying the home anyway. My daughter proclaimed it "The best vacation of my life!"

Why stay in the ordinary when you can stay in the unique? It really does look better than the pictures. The creativity and details are just outstanding. We really enjoyed the back yard as well, very lush and peaceful surroundings. It was our stopping point traveling between Saint Louis and Chicago, really wished we could have stayed longer.

Hannah's place was perfect for a short getaway. The house was stocked with games, toys, and activities and the property was extremely private with its very own walking trail. We also appreciated the fact that there was a high chair, pack n play, bowls and utensils for a baby. You can tell that Hannah was really thoughtful about what a travelling family would need. Can't recommend this place enough. We'll stay here again next time we visit the zoo.
