Apartment holiday rentals in Plaka, Athens

Though not in the City Center, it worked well for me! Just 1 block to Tram, 6 blocks to Metro (I had 5-day pass). Two stops to Acropolis stop, 5 to Syntagma (center). This is a working class neighborhood, so mostly residential, but also businesses (seemed like a lot of auto repair shops). However, outside of normal city street noise, it was relatively quiet. Definitely recommend the Saturday Farmer’s Market (Saturdays) which had a huge offering of fresh fruits and vegetables, olives, dried items, but also fresh seafood. Along the tram route were also vendors selling clothing, hardware, home goods, etc. I must emphasize is how clean the apartment was! Also, there is a rain shower head which was absolutely a plus after walking around the hot streets of Athens all day. Also, I utilized the washer (bring your own soap) to clean my clothes, and even though there was no dryer…my clothes dried by morning. It had all the amenities, and I utilized the kitchen often. Definitely recommend!

Our stay was wonderful! The apartment is super comfortable and pleasant. We received a very warm welcome, with several useful tips and local information, and even some treats for our stay. The location is excellent, allowing us to do everything on foot, with many points of interest and places to explore nearby. Truly, everything was perfect!

Had a lovely time in Athens with my Wife and our baby. We felt very comfortable in Fotis’ air bnb. It was exactly what we needed! It was very clean. Also, very good communication between Fotis and us. He recommended us some great restaurants and things to see/do. Only a 10/15 min walk from all the main attractions in Athens. Would 100% recommend come and stay again in the future!

This day was simply wonderful—a hidden pearl in the heart of effort. With the most breathtaking view of the Acropolis, it felt like stepping into a scene from a beautiful Hollywood film. I’m already looking forward to returning. I can’t recommend this place enough—just wow.

We had a fantastic stay at this accommodation. The location couldn’t be better—across the road from the Acropolis Museum and a short walk to the Acroplis itself, and right on the doorstep of Plaka, with all its charming streets, shops, and restaurants. It made exploring Athens incredibly easy and enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxed and hassle-free stay. The hosts were friendly and responsive, offering helpful tips for getting around and dining locally. Thank you Eirini, we really had a great time.

This Airbnb absolutely met all of my expectations. The amazing view and vibes in the neighborhood, really enhanced our experience in Athens. I don’t think our experience would’ve been the same if we stayed at a basic hotel. I will absolutely recommend this stay to all of our friends and family who plan on coming to Greece. A big thank you to the host and George who are very responsive and explained everything perfectly ensuring an easy check in and checkout! We will definitely be back in the future.

Dionisis’ place was very central for tourists in Athens. It was a 10-15 minute walk to many attractions, and sub 30 minute transit/walk from everything else. It is a great apartment with an amazing terrace, and Dionisis makes sure everything is smooth for your stay. I would highly recommend staying here!

We stayed at Maria’s for about a week and enjoyed our stay! It was fairly close (7min) walk to the metro and one or two stops away from all of the attractions. Very peaceful and quiet location, with lots of space and nice balcony to enjoy a different view of Athens.

This place was great! The view from the terrace couldn’t be any better. The apartment is located in an interesting neighbourhood with lots of art places and fantastic restaurants. The hosts are very kind and responsive. Definitely recommend to stay there!

Oresti’s place was wonderful. Extremely convenient and comfortable. The only complaint I can find is, as an American, having washcloths would have been nice and it took us a few minutes to find the cupboards with the dishes. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends, family and clients

We stayed in Maria's apartment for 2 nights. It was perfect and as described. Closed to restaurants and attractions, was a great place to stay for a short trip to Athens! We were within walking distance to most places. Maria was lovely and very responsive. Would recommend this apartment and return again ourselves.

An incredible oasis in the heart of a hip neighborhood in Athens. Great food, accessible to other parts of the city, very walkable, and the apartment is GORGEOUS. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on, and the pool is *chef's kiss*

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Athens! From the moment we arrived, our host was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. She struck the perfect balance of being available whenever we needed help, yet always respecting our privacy, something we truly appreciated. The apartment itself was stunning, tastefully decorated, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the pool, which we had the pleasure of enjoying throughout our stay. It felt like our own little oasis in the city. Another thoughtful touch was the welcome basket, such attention to detail! It was clear that a lot of care and consideration went into making our stay special. And a special thank you to our host for being so patient and kind when we (more than once!) forgot our keys. She never made us feel like a burden and always helped with a smile. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. We can’t recommend it highly enough ❤️

Me and my partner stayed here for 4 days in the Athens and it was nothing but amazing!! The room is exactly how it’s pictured if not bigger in person, the balcony has a shutter you can put down to completely black out the room which was our favourite feature and helped us sleep amazing😍the outside entrance does look a lil scary at first but as soon as you enter your room it’s a completey different vibe we could not recommend this air b&b enough

The apartment is just like the pictures. Alexis was very responsive and answered all our questions. We found some good places to eat. The apartment was very cozy and just the space we needed after a long day of sightseeing.

Great apartment, very clean. Swimming pool and terrace were a nice touch. Some slight confusion with check in and scheduled maintenance however the situation was resolved quickly with efficient communication. Would choose to stay again if I'm back in Athens.

Zhana is absolutely the best! She made sure we were well taken of well before we even arrived in Athens. Her attention to detail wasuch appreciated. Extremely accomodating even after we were delayed over 7 hours. The AirBNB was perfect for what we needed for an overnight stay. The view from the rooftop was phemomemal! Would love to come back and stay here again.
