Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Platanias

Excellent location, wonderful host and the amenities are as described. Litsa was so welcoming, gave us homemade bread/cake and also shared homemade lasagne with us. she also offered some toys for our little one and beach towels for us during our stay. highly recommend for the experience and location as restaurants and old town are a very short walk away. koum kapi beach is a 5 min walk as well. couldn't recommend enough..

Was a really beautiful apartment, so peaceful.

Being a host myself, I am super attune to the details. This space is perfectly situated right on the water's edge with gorgeous Juliette balconies and large French doors that let the ocean breeze in. The driver let us off near the main square and we walked along the water with baggage in tow. Directions were spot on...great way to 'make an entrance' into this amazing gem of a spot. The space was perfect and had everything we needed to decompress and relax. The town has everything you need from restaurants to historical ruins to little shops. 4 days was not near enough to explore all the little streets. The cohost, Silver, was beyond amazing and accommodating. We didn't pre-plan any excursions until we arrived. When we decided on an itinerary she was on it with recommendations AND connections to make it all happen. We were treated like family. What else could you ask for?! 5-stars plus plus. Hope to return!

Andreas was a friendly and responsive host who answered our questions promptly. The flat was well equipped and in an excellent location very close to the old town. We would definitely stay again when next back in Chania!

Very nice home and location very nice, walkable to harbor and old town which was very nice! Lots of restaurants! The house was very clean and comfortable and really pretty view of the sea from living room area. The layout was very nice as bathroom on floor of living are and second floor with bedrooms with full bath very nice, lots of room!! My only complaint was, in my opinion, the portrait over master bed was very provocative and also, in my opinion, offensive being a female. Don’t understand why there must be naked pictures of female. This really offended me and can’t understand why??? Laura Rehm

What a comfortable stay we had at Judy and Mike’s beautiful Apartment Francesca! Suited our needs very well indeed. Fabulous location & views. Loved the private patio and relaxing by the pool. Judy and Mike are indeed ‘Super Hosts’, nothing was too much trouble. Recommended some fabulous taverna’s. It was a pleasure meeting them and their lovely dogs! Why we loved the location: Plenty of walks from the doorstep. Vamos only a short distance with excellent taverna’s and a great coffee shop next to the tourist office in Vamos Old Town. A short drive to Kalives which has a beautiful beach and seafood taverna’s on the beach front. Look forward to our return and would love to stay longer next time! Great experience!! We stayed at this wonderful Airbnb and our expectations were really exceeded. The place was spotless, comfortable and very well cared for – but what really made the difference was the staff. Everything described and shown of this property is undervaluing its delight. This is beautifully and perfectly placed in Chania. It has everything you need within the property, whether there's 1 or 5 staying. There's lots of do within easy walking distance, including the delicious Periplous restaurant down the road, the sea opposite, and that view!! --- blissfully divine perks of the location Antonis and Nikos are so helpful and considerate. From my welcoming arrival, it was a serene joy and so simply perfect I could live there. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for hosting. Είναι όμορφο

Konstantinos’s place is perfect. The location is beautiful and only a short drive to some of best beaches we have ever been to. The pool is so lovely and surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. I have never had a shower with such a good view! I wouldn’t change a thing and would recommend to anyone.

Lovely host and a nice place for a great price

we stayed in mid may 2025 for 9 nights the apartment is modern even usb charging sockets built in air con excellent Jacuzzi comfortable for 4 adults kitchen easy for cooking main balcony around 25feet by 12 feet with 2 sets of comfortable seating two lovely bathrooms even a dishwasher. Restaurants are 10 min walk as well as coffee shops etc. There are 3 large supermarkets 5mins drive and Chania is 15 mins drive by car and around 3 - 4 balconies NETFLIX and GOOD WIFI oh and did I mention the VIEW you WILL NOT BE WATCHING THE TV sunsets and vino . You will be living amongst local families and parking is outside. On our travels we like to have a modern apartment with large balconies and amenities near this apartment DELIVERED many thanks for the host for having us and best wishes to you all Declan and Mari

The apartment itself was clean, cozy and well equipped even for long time stays (we had a total of 9 nights at Despina‘s apartment). We could warmly recommend this place to you!

This place was super cute and very convenient in a area in town that is close to everything but not loud at night and less touristy. I would definitely recommend it and he was very responsive as a host. Every time I call he was there right away and answered right away. The place is also very attractive.

Great place to stay near Chania, easy to get around and close to beaches. Apartment is comfortable and spacious with a lovely pool and relaxing outdoor area.

If I could give 6 out of 5 stars, I would definitely do it. Mary and her husband welcomed us very warm and we could really see, that they did everything to make us feel comfortable. The apartment made the Chania experience even better and if we ever come back we will be glad to rent it again! We can only recommend it. They really didn’t promise too much, when they told us that the view from the apartment is MAGICAL!

Had a lovely stay at Elina's beautiful home. Town is just walking distance away, and there are plenty of restaurants around the area - close to the bus station too! Apartment is spacious, and has all the amenities you might need; Elina was a great host, and gave many helpful recommendations of what to do and see around the area. Would definitely stay again - thank you!

The apartment, its location, and the hosts’ hospitality are simply impressive. The room had everything we needed - even sun hats, beach towels, and slippers. A separate crib was provided for our son. The apartment also came with a juicer, toaster, coffee machine, coffee, tea, and plenty of food. However, the place is better suited for couples without small children. Our 1-year-4-month-old son constantly wanted to go up and down the stairs (which isn’t very safe) or out onto the balcony. Still, he managed to enjoy the beautiful views and woke up saying ‘wooow.’ 😁 The water at the beach is perfect for small children and peaceful relaxation. We had a wonderful vacation! Nearby, we discovered a lovely restaurant called Halepa with incredible sunsets and delicious seafood - highly recommended.

This Airbnb is just like the photos and worth the distance from Old Town (about 0.4 miles). The terrace wraps around the entire flat and has many seating options in sunshine and in shade. It’s surrounded by beautiful, well-cared for plants with a stunning view of the Sea of Crete and of Chania itself. You can take the stairs or there is an elevator. The hostess left some local treats for us as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers! Absolutely top notch! There is also air conditioning if the fresh air is too warm. The hostess was friendly and responsive. This was the best of 4 Airbnb’s we stayed in throughout Europe. The only thing to note is that the electricity is only on when the card is in the holder by the door. So, if you leave with the dryer or dishwasher running or charging devices, they will pause until you return.

The flat was perfect, especially if you have a rental car. It was a great base to explore Crete, enjoy the proximity from Chania, and come back home by the end of the day. It's very spacious and has a home feeling, very well equipped, extra clean. We were even able to cook some nice food in the oven. Definitely worth a stay, keep in mind it is not in the city center though.

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic! Aggelos is extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive. He provided recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed for our stay. The place is very close to the downtown area with many shops, restaurants, and bakeries. It was also a quick walk to the bus stop. We could not recommend this place enough!
