The Rimu Hut - Cosy Bush Escape

A tramping-style A-frame chalet nestled against rimu trees on the edge of a stunning 15-acre native forest block close to the Hunua Ranges in rural South Auckland. Built by the owners using macrocarpa timber grown on the property, it was intended to be a place where their grandchildren could enjoy sleepovers in the forest and afternoon adventures. They soon realised though, that such a special place should be shared so they decided to make it available to others. Cosy in winter, cool in summer!

The Pūkeko Cabin at Heaven’s Rest B&B offers a quiet, self-contained stay with a spacious bedroom and ensuite bathroom. The open-plan living area includes a lounge and fully equipped kitchen, opening onto a large furnished deck with countryside views. A second bedroom with its own ensuite is available on request for an additional charge. Located 10 minutes from Pukekohe and 30 minutes from Auckland Airport.

Hillcroft cottage is a small self contained cottage within our large garden on 16acres of land. There are 2 resident Labrador dogs, cattle and hens. Continental breakfast is provided.
