Farm Cottage for a escape to the country

New barn conversion. I have tried to maintain the character. The decor is Agri/industrial, reusing as much of the raw materials around the farm. It has three king-size beds all on-suite. 1 x Very large bedroom upstairs with sofa and balcony and 2 smaller ground floor bedrooms. Each room has a TV and wifi. The main living room includes a kitchen, a table, a large L-shaped sofa and coffee table: an outdoor table and chairs, BBQ and a covered area for storing bikes and a EV Charger (50p/kw) etc.

We have a huge variety of wild flowers and bird life and our dark skies offer perfect opportunities for star gazing. We are rural but not isolated and surrounded by castles, beaches and the National Botanic Gardens is just 15 minutes away. Further out are the Gower and Tenby beaches and walks and waterfalls of Brecon.

Waterfall Country, National Caves nearby Swansea, Mumbles, Gower coastline and many so many other attractions within an hour’s drive.

Red Kite barn is a recently converted barn in a beautiful courtyard setting, located between the villages of Llandybie and Derwydd in Carmarthenshire. Self-contained with your own entrance, a truly comfortable home from home to stay in, whilst exploring the beautiful Welsh countryside. It is attached to a bigger barn where we live, and another 2 bed opposite. Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

Kitchen equipment and everything you need to self cater is provided. You’ll find a selection of teas, fresh coffee & seasoning for cooking. In the mini fridge, there are some continental breakfast items for you to enjoy.

Heol Gwys Cottage is set in the idyllic village of Upper Cwmtwrch. This tranquil property is in the ideal location for everything the area has to offer. The cottage consists of two double bedrooms upstairs along with a bathroom with a luxury bath and skylight. The ground floor boasts a large open plan dining and lounge area and a period style log burning fire (Logs not supplied). The fully equipped modern kitchen leads out to a well-kept enjoyable garden that backs onto the river Twrch.

2 Cathelyd Colliery Stables

No 2 Cathelyd Colliery Stables is a dog friendly property renovated from a pit pony stables. Next door is No 1 that is slightly smaller and can be booked separately on Airbnb. There are walks on the doorstep being next to the Cwm Clydach bird reserve and the cottage has its own private valley walk with a waterfall. We are situated 3 miles from J45 of the M4 with easy access to Swansea, Gower and the Brecon Beacons. The Swansea Cycle path is on the doorstep. The town is a mile away.

Glenhurst, guests stay in coach house in grounds

The photo shown is the main house. Self catering accommodation. Guests will stay in the refurbished coach house in the grounds of the main house in the village of Glanamman. Open plan living area downstairs, fitted kitchen with oven, microwave, slow cooker and cooking utensils. Shower room and toilet, hot &cold running water. Double bedroom with double bed, second bedroom with adult bunk beds. Balcony accessed through main bedroom giving views of the Amman Valley.

Based in the Brecon Beacons National Park we are located on the base of a mountain with good access through a woodland track. Good walking through the Amman Valley with lots of attractions in easy reach. The local town of Ammanford has good facilities including shops and swimming pool. Cinema in Brynamman, golf courses and a riding centre within easy reach The house has a decking area with BBQ and an enclosed yard which is ideal for dogs.
