In the valley where Coleridge wrote Kubla Khan, this is a house steeped in history. The property sleeps 4, though it's just as suitable for couples, as the second bedroom is 'compact'. It has fabulous views across the Bristol Channel, and is a the perfect retreat from busy daily life.

Hidden Cottage, Porlock

Located centrally in Porlock village, this cosy cottage is tucked away in the small winding back lanes. The cottage has an open plan sitting/dining room with log burner and French doors opening out onto its own private decking area, perfect for enjoying morning coffee in the sunshine. Porlock is the perfect base for exploring the unique Exmoor countryside, with the moor on its doorstep and the beach one mile away. Dogs are welcome at Hidden Cottage, we ask for a £10 fee, towels are provided.

This ancient little cob cottage has just been sympathetically renovated to a high standard and everything inside is newly equipped. Situated at the foot of North Hill in a no-through lane on the edge of Exmoor yet within a pleasant 1.5-mile walk of Minehead with its pubs, restaurants, steam railway, and sandy beach. The lane leads to a footpath that meanders up North Hill to meet the South-West coastal path. Quiet with fabulous views and a large garden. Ideal for families and walkers alike!

Our guest house is situated atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and historic Tarka Trail. Fully self-contained building, patio and parking area. Fully fitted kitchen and living room, with a separate bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Underfloor heating coupled with a log burning fireplace for chilly days. A lovely cosy hideaway, with direct access to Exmoor, the Doone Valley and beyond! The cottage has many original features, including a wood-burner and rustic beams - and maintains its character (refurbished in 2020). Parsonage Farm Cottage is completely separate from the main house, with its own garden, incredible views and peace and quiet, with Oare Water running along the bottom of the property. Just a short drive to the lovely villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, & Porlock.
