Beudy Mawr cottage & private Hot Tub | Snowdonia

DimitrisRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Spent a wonderful couple of nights in a pristine cottage, surrounded by nature but also very close to everything N. Wales has to offer. Lliwen was an excellent host, proactive and responsive, and felt immediately welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

Superb hot tub cottage with views of Snowdon!

Lovely cottage and surroundings. Fantastic host. Highly recommend. Unfortunately I had an accident in the mountains which curtailed our trip. Ian was very accommodating and to our surprise (completely unexpected) provided a partial refund - thank you :)

2 bed /2 bath luxury barn conversion with hot tub

MichaelRating, 5 stars5 days ago
I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Both couples in our party were highly impressed. Steven was very welcoming and we appreciated the supplies to get us started. Everything in the house is of a high standard and very comfortable. Outside there are superb views from outside seating and the hot tub. There is a good barbecue and we enjoyed cooking and eating outside. Llangollen, Bala, Ffestiniog and Snowdonia are nearby. Luke came and introduced himself and he and Steven are the perfect hosts, very charming and helpful but not intrusive or fussy. We definitely would love to come back

Tŷ Cacwn, cottage with stunning views and hot tub.

NatashaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
From the moment we arrived, this Airbnb truly exceeded all expectations. The views are nothing short of stunning, the setting was pure magic. The house itself had absolutely everything we could possibly need. Every detail was thoughtfully considered from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy, comfortable furnishings that made it feel like home instantly. Our host was incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay. Quick to respond, full of great local tips, and genuinely welcoming (and it made all the difference). If you’re looking for peace, beauty, and a seamless getaway, this place is a gem. We can’t wait to return!

Romantic Grade 2 Listed Cottage in Maentwrog

RobRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a great stay in Catrin’s cottage. The location was ideal for us - in a picturesque, quiet village, but within easy driving distance of Portmeirion, Harlech Castle, the Ffestiniog Railway and all of the other attractions in and around the Snowdonia (Eryri) National Park. There was also an excellent restaurant and pub (The Grapes) within a few minutes’ walk - Sunday lunch there was a particular highlight. The cottage itself was cosy, comfortable, well designed and equipped with everything that we needed. The quirky design made the most of the available space, and the view of the Vale of Ffestiniog from the kitchen and bedroom windows was magnificent. The log burner was a bonus, especially as we ‘enjoyed’ some typical North Wales weather during our stay! Catrin was an excellent host, and the pre-check in information that she provided meant that we were able to find the cottage easily despite its secluded location. Overall highly recommended - we’d definitely stay again.

Characterful 17th Century Barn Conversion

KatieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed here for a belated anniversary getaway and absolutely loved it! The cottage was exactly as described. It felt like a home away from home and the views were stunning. We wanted a break from the city and we got it! It was so peaceful. We loved having the log burner so we could get nice and cosy in the evenings playing board games. The cottage is close to lots of amazing walks, and not too far to drive to others. Belinda is a fantastic host. Before we arrived she sent loads of walk recommendations and clear instructions on how to find the place. There’s a handy booklet in the living room and lots of leaflets on things to do. We stopped to have a chat with Belinda and she’s so lovely. It’s obvious how much care is put into the place. Whilst we were sad to be leaving, we’re so glad we chose to stay here and we’ll definitely come back again. Thank you Belinda!

Dyffryn Ardudwy open plan Cottage with log burner

KaylaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a lovely cottage and location! We travelled to Lucy’s property in celebration of a 30th birthday and were delighted with how much effort had gone into providing us with all amenities AND decorations as a lovely surprise for the bday guest. Wonderful place, really recommend. Very small point to note, whilst an incredibly quiet lane it is narrow so parking an SUV means you might need to go a bit further away from the house. No impact at all on our enjoyment of the place and area.

Secluded seaside cottage & grounds, stunning views

HarryRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Our second visit to this secluded house on the hillside. It is a large comfortable house with a terrace and a big sprawling slope of a garden but what makes it special are the stunning views over Treheli bay and back up the Llŷn peninsula as far as Eryri. We were lucky to get sunny, warm weather and spent a lot of time sitting out on the terrace or in the cool of the house simply appreciating the place and its wonderful situation. The track down to the house is steep but easily manageable in a reasonable sized vehicle and it makes a good if energetic constitutional morning or evening stroll. Nearby Aberdaron is a charming seaside village with a decent store and bakery, a modern museum and an excellent fish‘n’chip shop (Sblash.) The sandy beach is lovely for a dip on a hot day. Throw in the morning scent of roses, the evening scent of honeysuckle, the jays, owls, bats and even glow worms and you have a magical holiday. We’ll be back! Highly recommended.

Bwthyn bach Cozy country retreat with log burner

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great property, ideally situated for Snowdonia, the coast and some of the Great Little Trains. Very accessible, great for our parents who are of advanced years. Great to meet Elvis the donkey (feeling very guilty we didn’t bring carrots). The facilities were ideal for our needs with great places to eat in and around the area. Frances was welcoming on arrival and understanding of the fire alarm being set off by burning the toast.

Frondeg Cottage

WendyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We stayed at the cotttage for three nights to attend my nephew’s nearby wedding. After a long drive it was wonderful to park the car and not need to use it! The cottage is lovely, cosy, clean and very welcoming. Everything we needed for a wonderful stay. And its location was fantastic! We did have to park quite far up the street, but that was because we arrived on a busy Friday evening and definitely didn’t spoil our trip

Pen and Maes Cottage Criccieth

StephanieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely time in Criccieth! Edna's place is tranquil and perfectly located for lots of beautiful country and coastal walks. There are a nice variety of places to eat and some excellent local businesses (cafes, shops, sauna, etc). The folks in this small town were super friendly and the weather (cool and bit overcast) was perfect for what we were looking for. We highly recommend Edna's place: comfortable, clean, well-equipped and very peaceful. Edna is an excellent host: she provides excellent information and lots of local guidebooks and maps; she keeps the home in good repair; and knows how to make folks feel at home!

Harbour-side cottage with sea and mountain views

StephenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Matthew was a great host. Proactively reaching out to check how we found the space a offer recommendations. The space was wonderful. Granted we were spoilt with very good weather for the duration of our stay. But the ability to have morning coffee on the front overlooking the harbour, and have lunch in the sun at the back, and relax in the living room in the evening was perfect for us. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area and hope to be back soon.

Cosy Snowdonia cottage with panoramic sea views

GillianRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Just one point , we are quite elderly and the furniture in the lounge is very low and we struggled to get up off it, we got round that by putting all the pillows off the beds to higher it , also the path down to the cottage from the parking space is quite uneven , we are 80 and 75 but it wouldn’t be a problem for anyone surefooted . The balcony is just FANTASTIC
