Perfect base for climbing Snowdon!

This comfortable, updated stone-built cottage is the ideal base for an adventurous break in the Snowdonia National Park. At the base of the Nant Peris Valley, one of the most dramatic in Britain, it is perfectly located for climbing Snowdon. The accommodation is great for one or two couples, or a small family. A 200 year old stone cottage with original beams . Known in Welsh as ‘Ty Capel’ it was originally the caretaker’s house for the Baptist Chapel next door , now my home. The stream running through the garden is where Lloyd George , a former British Prime Minister was baptised . The cottage is set in beautiful surroundings with spectacular views towards Criccieth Castle and the sea /mountains of Cardigan Bay. The cottage has been decorated all through with new carpets everywhere.

'Snowdon Wharf' - Cosy Hideaway

Modern, light, bright 'Upside down' house. High-speed wifi. Price reflects the magnificent, ever-changing estuary views. Facilities at the house are based on a couple sharing but there are bunks which can be made up. Balcony overlooks the Dwyryd Estuary and Ffestiniog railway. Porthmadog - something for everyone - mountain walks, seaside, shopping or a base for the Lleyn Peninsula.
