Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Porto Cheli

The month of May in Spetses is difficult to beat. Warm weather, flowers and shrubs in full bloom and, because it is not full tourist season, it is lively but not crowded. Mariana’s simple traditional house is hard to beat. The very large rear patio with its excellent barbecue and a large electric canopy above a dining table still manages a good sea view. The house is close enough to the action - a 15 minute walk to the main town along the main road. Mariana is extremely helpful and on hand via AirBnb messaging at any time. Her father, Yannis, is the perfect and charming onsite host - nothing is too much for him. Ask him for taxi number - Kostas, his nephew with new Mercedes people carrier - again, charming. A great stay.

The house is beautifully designed and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay—whether for cooking, relaxing, or keeping warm on chilly nights. The fireplace was a highlight for us after long days of hiking and climbing. Eirini gave us a warm welcome upon arrival, which was especially helpful since the road to the house is quite narrow. That said, we managed fine with an SUV (Dacia Duster). The location is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with plenty of hiking trails in the area. After a full day outside, it was great to return to such a cozy and inviting home. We were three adults staying for five nights on a hiking and climbing trip, and the place suited us perfectly. Highly recommended!

Didima is a beautiful little village in a perfect location! The house is perfectly situated in the town so that everything is walkable. There is so much to do! Many taverns and bars, a beautiful beach 5 mins away, cool caves to explore! Highly recommend. The house itself was easy to find thanks to the clear instructions, and the check in was flexible to suit us. The house is nice and cold - perfect for keeping cool in summer I'd imagine! It's simple and cosy, just like the pictures. The locals are super friendly and welcoming too, we felt right at home! We chose Didima on a whim, but it turned out to be one of the best places we visited in Greece!

We had a great few days relaxing on Agistri. Xanthi was there to meet us and everything was as expected. It’s a lovely little house and garden with everything you need, we enjoyed feeding the tortoises! We took the bus to Limenaria one day and explored the south of the island. Other than that we walked everywhere and took it easy on the terrace ( after Athens and Aegina a rest was welcome!). Great views from the two little churches up in the hills. A nice little beach just a few minutes walk away. We ate at Hotel Artemis just down the road and To Agistri in Skala - tables on the beach and a sunset. The bakery in Megalochori had good business from us, we tried all their pastries, baklava, spinach pie and the local bread!

Just wonderful! The house is very convenient, arranged with great taste and care. There are numerous books and music to dive into. The kitchen provides everything - it is equipped like our kitchen at home. The view from this upper village of Tyros is breathtaking combining sea and steep mountain slopes. A car to get there is recommended. Host Ilias is very accomodating and polite, at the same time practical and discreet. We enjoyed our stay there very much and will certainly come back. We had a great time at Dani’s place. Everything was as pictured and described. We were sadly delayed on the first day so were kindly offered to check out later on the last day. We loved sitting on the balcony and our dog enjoyed roaming the property. The local beach was lovely and quiet. Great places to eat only a short drive away. Only bad thing was that we could not stay longer!! Thank you Dani and Thekla 🙏🏽

We had a wonderful time! The host was wonderful, kind and very responsive. Check in went very smoothly, we came with our three children who enjoyed the place so much. The location is just great! Very central, close to the water but still hidden and private all at the same time. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fabulous apartment, well equipped with many kitchen gadgets, spacious lounge, lovely balcony with sea views. No complaints. The apartment was a considerable distance away from Poros town, more than indicated on the Air B&B map. It is very close to Petros Beach which is our favourite beach with a great taverna behind so we were not too disappointed but it meant a long walk into town and a taxi back. This wasn't a problem for us but could be a deal breaker for others. In the age of computer technology I would think it an easy error to rectify.

Beautiful place, very comfortable wonderful views. Interior spaces a bit smaller than they looked from photos. Had a wonderful stay would definitely stay there again. Thank you.

we stayed here for 4 nights and our favorite part was sitting out on the balcony and taking in the views. A cute little walkway is just below, going along the water to a nice pier. You definitely need a car since it's out of any tourist area, but the drive there is really nice, about 2 hrs from Athens and only 20 min from Nafplio. Lots to discover all around. Christos is a great host, very responsive and had alot of great recommendations. One thing I would note; road noise can be loud since you're so close to a road (earplugs did the trick though).

This location is spectacular. At one end of the bay, you can either a ride or walk to the marina is relaxing and beautiful. The accommodation is impressive and prepared for a comfortable stay. Bikes, kayaks, sunbeds, paddleboards included. Thanks so much, we had the best stay! We dream of our return 🙏

We had a wonderful week with our 2 children in Efi's apartment. The location is beautiful, sunrise in bed, absolute tranquility, 10min walk to a beautiful beach and great pool in the complex. Efi is a great hostess and was very accommodating, the service provided by her housekeeper was great. An absolute tip for climbers, the climbing areas of Leonidio can be reached in less than 15 minutes. Thank you we would love to come back!

This place was amazing, beautiful and well kept. We loved our stay here. Dimitrios provided a ton information about the area and some great restaurant recommendations. I wish we had stayed longer it was so good.

A perfect apartment in a perfect location for those wanting to relax away from the hustle and bustle of life but still close enough to Aegina Port. The apartment is just as described and in the photos however I agree with another review that the apartment appears slightly bigger than it actually is in the photos. There is ample space for two in the open plan lounge/kitchen/dining but could be a bit tight for 4 adults if not able to use the lovely outside space for relaxing due to bad weather (sadly, it does happen even on this beautiful island,!) Lots of hot water whenever needed for showers which have great water pressure. There are local tavernas serving delicious traditional meals and beach bars just around the corner along with a small supermarket. Alkis is the perfect host, who was very responsive and helpful and would definitely recommend his apartment. Thank you Alkis and hope to return again one day ☺️

Our family of 7 (with 2 young children) had a wonderful stay. We had plenty of room with lots of space inside and out. Beautiful, clean pool and outdoor kitchen were great. The resident pup was a hit with the kids! Beautiful views of sunrise and sunset and the lit Palamidi. We felt right at home from the start. John was very responsive with answers to our questions and the caretakers were there to help as well. The villa is an easy drive to Nafplio for restaurants and shopping. Close to beaches. Thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon at Axion Esti bee farm, learning about honey and beekeeping. I would gladly come back here on our next trip to the area.

We had the most wonderful stay at Maria's villa for our family vacation. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk from fantastic restaurants, two grocery stores, and two bakeries, which made everything incredibly convenient. But the true highlight was the breathtaking view of the sea, which we enjoyed every single day. The villa itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It truly felt like a home away from home. Maria was incredibly generous, leaving us a lovely welcome basket filled with goodies, which was such a thoughtful touch. Jimmy was outstanding—he met us at the port, helped us organize taxis, and shared great local recommendations. He also kept us updated with anything we needed to know, including local news like power or water outages, which was really helpful and reassuring. We would absolutely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and comfortable stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Katerina’s home was absolutely perfect for our stay in Spetses! Katerina was super sweet and communicated with us prior to our arrival. She met us at the port and had a taxi to move our luggage to the Airbnb. Upon arrival we noticed a fully stocked kitchen (coffee, milk, water, snacks) and very clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Katerina gave us many recommendations and was super helpful and responsive. We will definitely stay at her home again in the future when we visit Spetses again!!!

A comfortable house with a lot of utilities to facilitate a longer stay. Located in a forest area, it is suitable for people looking for solitude. Navigating via GPS coordinates is the way to find it. The bonus is that the best Leonidio restaurant, Myrtoon, is nearby. The host is positive and very responsive.

Dimitri's place is a beautiful house in a very convenient location. 5 minutes from the center of Dapia, walkable to both Old and New Port, including Ferry dock. We were 4 adults and 2 small kids and we felt very much comfortable, like at home. Kids were able to use the downstairs living room to study and play, and we enjoyed the various size terraces that surrounded the house. Stocked refrigerator, fully operational kitchen, 2 coffee machines, and large table outside made our breakfasts very enjoyable. You can reach a large supermarket, bakery, and several small shops with 5 minutes walking. Mind you, the area (actually the whole island) might be noisy due to motorbikes and ATVs speeding around but that's not the host's fault. All in all it was a great stay.

The villa is beautiful and Areti and Nikolaos were great hosts. Nikolaos was quick to respond to questions and always accommodating. The place was spotless and the recently remodeled facilities were top notch, it was lovely to spend a few evenings in the pool with the stars out and some music playing. Nafplion is a beautiful town with a ton of great restaurants just a five minute drive away. We also visited Corinth (about a 50 min drive) and the sunken city off the beach of Epidaurus (about 30 mins away). Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Villa Panos. The house was perfectly equipped and had everything we needed for a family of 4. Panos was an excellent host and was very helpful, he went the extra mile to make sure everything was working. I highly recommend the Villa for a quiet get away. The beach below the house is so quiet we basically had it to ourselves. Great place

Beautiful villa with pool and large garden of oranges, grapefruit and olives, which we were allowed to use to prepare the best ever orange juice. The villa is well equipped with everything you need for a vacation and much more. It was very clean and well kept. It has an outside kitchen near the pool with dining area and seating place. It is located in a quiet place but only few minutes drive from Napflio. It is actually more beautiful than the photos… Stefanos, the owner, was very helpful, he welcomed us, explaining about the villa and offered recommendations for restaurants. We had great time in the villa and would be happy to return for another vacation.
