Short Tuscan Rentals - La Terrazza sul Mare

EnzoRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Mauro was very responsive. Check in instructions were good, the apartment was easy to find and it was great to have a big drive to park in. The apartment is spacious, clean and looks newly decorated and the view is lovely - we loved the early mornings out on the terrace. The apartment is well-equipped and the kitchen is very well stocked. With just a couple of small improvements, it could be 5 star - more than one pillow per head, sun loungers or a sofa on the terrace, a working parasol and a tidier garden. But overall we had a good stay. It should be noted that the apartment isn’t in Porto San Stefano but a short drive outside it and access to the beach (pictured) is not for the faint hearted - there’s no pavement and the road’s quite busy. Our dog wouldn’t have been able to manage the steps down to the underpass, nor would anyone with mobility issues or push chairs.

Surrounded by pine forest, 300 meters from the sea

LuigiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed in this property, chosen somewhat randomly from many, and I must say that never was a better choice. Roberta immediately proved to be available, friendly and with her attitude she made us feel immediately at ease The apartment is really nice, spacious, bright, brand new and fantastically maintained. The sea is really just a few steps away with an immense and very well maintained beach. The town offers the essentials, but there is a lot to do and see in the surroundings. A mini vacation that will remain in our hearts, as well as Roberta, 🥰 with whom we are sure we will be in touch shortly to organize a longer vacation. So I recommend everyone to try the location in order to get to know the place .... you won't regret it, but above all Roberta...

Dimora Pascoli 1

GiusyRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Apartment 100% as described. We were pleasantly surprised: the apartment is definitely spacious, fresh and equipped with every comfort. The furniture is very modern. Impeccably clean. The location is strategic: in less than a minute on foot you can find yourself in the main street of the center of Castiglione with numerous shops and restaurants (a tip: always book for time because you risk staying without dinner! We were in Castiglione in the week of August and without booking it was difficult to find a place even late in the evening). In a few minutes by foot you can find yourself on the waterfront where there are many beach establishments but also numerous free beaches. Right outside the apartment, the supermarket is very comfortable! Niccolò and Daniela were always kind and super helpful: we especially thank Daniela for all the tips she gave us!!!! Not recommended!

Apartment a stone's throw from the sea

GlauciaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Laura’s apartment is very cozy and well equipped, you can feel it is a family home. I enjoyed a lot staying there for 2 weeks, it is spacious, and close enough to walk everywhere , yet more secluded in a quieter area, with peace and silence.

Villa with access to the sea and view of islands

FranzRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This small "stone house" is ideal for 2 people. Regarding the location - okay, you can have different opinions. On the one hand, wonderfully located, on the other hand, "remote". Very private, beautiful terrace for relaxing. Unfortunately, access to the sea is difficult, either very steep - not for older people, or all private, closed off by gates. The "private bay" with beach, bar and restaurant is very nice and also very good food. The people are very nice. But also not easy to reach. We were there for 11 days, combining smaller excursions with good food every day. Once we wanted to go to the sea and then we were on the road for almost 2 hours in the mountains, partly on a natural road, because all the entrances to the sea were closed by gates. This is something that really annoyed us. Shopping, restaurants in Porto S.Stefano about 7 km away, no problem. Very nice harbor town. But it was a nice stay. Negative; Total of mosquitoes destroyed P.S.

Apartment near the sea air-conditioned 6+1 p.l.

MonicaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I stayed in this apartment for a week at the beach and I couldn't have asked for more! The accommodation was very clean, cozy and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The location is excellent, just 100 meters from the sea – really ideal for those who, like me, love to experience the sea to the fullest without having to take the car. We are a family of two adults and two small children, with us there was also the grandmother, there is no shortage of space and it is well ventilated. A big thank you to the owner Riccardo, who was kind and helpful. I highly recommend this apartment to those looking for a quiet, comfortable and carefree vacation. I will definitely be back!

Aldobrandesca House

NathanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
If you’re looking for an experience on the sea, this is your place. Incredible to have access to a historic property as such, with sweeping views from around the property of the seaside. Walking distance to a great bar, the town of Porto Ercole, and a couple amazing beaches with full lounge service. The place has true character from a historical context if you’re interested in that type of thing. Thanks for sharing your great property.

We had a great stay! The apartment is great: clean, well-equipped, very comfortable. And above all, it's just a stone's throw from the beach, so you can enjoy it stress-free. Cristina was super available and responsive, it's nice. Frankly, nothing to complain about, we would come back without hesitation! Thanks ☺️

Tatiana’s Pretty House

John DeffRating, 5 stars13 months ago
Dear Giulia, We would like to express our deep gratitude for welcoming us to your beautiful home in Cala Moresca. Casa Di Tatiana, with its breathtaking sea view, was the perfect setting for our honeymoon. Every moment spent there will remain engraved in our memories as an enchanted parenthesis. Your kindness and tips about Rome also helped to make our trip even more memorable. Thanks to you, our stay in the Eternal City was perfectly orchestrated, allowing us to discover its hidden gems and incomparable charm. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing with us a corner of your childhood but also for your warm hospitality and generosity. You helped make our honeymoon unforgettable, and we will always keep a special memory of our stay at your place. With all our gratitude, Natascia and Giovanni

Garden house "Il Pepe"

Frank-FlorianRating, 5 stars8 months ago
A beautiful little house with a fantastic view of the sea. Bedroom, kitchen and bathroom are small but nicely furnished and you have everything you need. The terrace is very large with plenty of seating and beautiful tables. From there you have a wonderful view of the sea. The area consists of a few other vacation homes and is very quiet. There is a swimming pool that you can use and at the end of a long staircase an access to the sea (no beach but rocky but still great for swimming). Around the cottage is a small garden and many beautiful trees. Giovanni's father Eduardo welcomed us, showed us everything and was very friendly. If we had a question, we got an answer quickly. For shopping, you drive about 10-15 minutes by car to the next town. In summary: a very nice quiet place with perfect views with friendly people. We will be happy to come back.

Barlufffa – Special Sea & Sky Villa

NicholasRating, 5 stars11 months ago
What an amazing location with a sensational view. We were looking for a restful location in picturesque surroundings where we could relax and unwind; this was definitely that place. After a day at the beach (7 min walk - downhill way there and quite a steap climb back if you decided not to drive) this had all the (immaculately landscaped) outdoor living spaces you need to relax into the evening and look out to sea as the day ends....views you could even enjoy from the brilliant outdoor shower! The accomodation was perfect for our group (3 adult couples) and on the warmer days it was nice to have the air conditioning. Both the owner and the host were helpful and responsive throughout. The only noteworthy things are that the drive into the location was along some tight and twisty cliff roads (I would not like to drive it in the dark) and the local beach is rocky so I would highly recommend swimming shoes. Overall we felt this was a magical place and had an amazing stay!

A terrace on the Argentario

ChrisRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Wonderful location with fantastic view of the sea. Very large, lovely garden. Perfect privacy. At the back of the domain, however, the owner has his own place to stay, with its own entrance. Fortunately, the owner was not present during our period, because that would have reduced that perfect privacy feeling a bit. It is an older villa but equipped with every comfort. Modern well equipped bathrooms. The kitchen is also very functional, but not modernized. We knew that in advance, because you can clearly see it in the photos. Silva is a perfect host : proactive and very friendly. The extra cleaning events we had requested were also perfectly arranged by Silva and excellently performed by Sabrina. The only downside of the location and the entire area is that there are many mosquitoes.

apartment in Argentarola Park

ElyseRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Massimo's place was perfect for us - a week in paradise! It's a small, corner unit in a gated, residential community - a vertical world of stairs and ramps with homes, pool, garden, parking lot and sea access all on different levels. The unit's private outdoor space has large table, BBQ grill and shady seating area. The space inside the unit is quite small but fine for 2/3 people. Since it's a corner unit, there are only a few windows and no sea view - which was fine for us. Loved having a dark, cool refuge on a hot summer day! It's about 1500 steps to get from the unit down to the seaside. The way down is a mix of paved road (not too steep) and steps. The reward is the chance to swim in pristine, blue water with no crowds! Great for snorkeling! Two special features: the beach locker where you can store your beach gear and the outdoor shower in the yard. If you need to stay connected to the world, note that inside the unit it's basically a dead zone (no wifi or cellular network).

Unique beachfront home featured on style magazine

SusannaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
An absolutely stunning part of the world. So so special to be right on the beach in a quiet rustic, out of the way spot in a lovely apartment! The space is just as described / as it looks and it backs right onto the beach so whether you’re inside or out you can enjoy the lapping waves. There’s also a restaurant on the beach which is glorious so you don’t have to cook the whole time. The closest shop is 20 minutes drive so bring what you need so you don’t have to leave again! Bear in mind if traveling with young kids that there are no blinds on the windows, there are mosquitoes at night and no microwave or kettle - but as long as you’re organised you will have an absolutely wondrous time here. Thanks to Michele who even swam back from his boat to bring us some insect repellent that we’d forgotten . We’d come back in a heartbeat to this very special place.

ON THE SEA COMFORTABLE STUDIO WITH PARKING

marcelRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The accommodation is absolutely recommended for a November getaway. We don't know what it's like in the summer, possibly the street noise could be a bit disruptive. The beach has suffered quite a bit due to the weather. unfortunately we did not meet Lucia in person, which we regret but was probably self-inflicted, we were constantly on the road. We would definitely book the apartment again anytime.

Fantastic location. Amazing views. Direct access to the sea - rocky but easily doable. Facilities and cleanliness TOP. Walk to the city. Giulia's parents live in the house and are very accommodating. Highly recommend! (Extensive construction work takes place in the annex, which cannot be avoided.)

Casa Acquachiara - a stone's throw from the beach

DaveRating, 5 stars11 months ago
We loved our stay here. The location is great because it is so close (walking distance, 3 minutes) to a nice public beach. It is just a 10 minute car ride to Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole, both fantastic spots for dinner and shopping and walking around (and more swimming spots). Augusto was super friendly and welcoming and communication with our hosts was easy and prompt. I appreciated that they had good coffee and some snacks, and olive oil and salt for cooking. Thank you for a great vacation stay!
