Beautiful and extremely peaceful place to stay while in Sao Miguel!!! It’s in a great location - close to the city and in a central area that’s easily drivable to any part of the island (not too far to the east or west). Definitely recommend!! Parking is super easy. There’s parking right outside the gate on the other side of the street. Looks to be about 4 parking spots, we were the only car ever parked there.

Charming little "garden house apartment" with its own seating in the garden and grill use. Lovingly furnished - small but nice! For us, a quiet place to feel good just outside the center of the city. We were allowed to store our wheels in the shed. Communication was great, thanks dear Celia! Will come again any time!

The pool and pool area is completely private which we loved. We had sole use of the pool and made the most of it! Maria Louisa was always on hand if you needed anything but respected our privacy which was so lovely. You can walk down the hill to the train station which goes one stop to Sintra old town or to Lisbon in the other direction. Trains are cheap. It’s a bit of a hill back up to the house from the station or the supermarket which wasn’t a problem for us but worth being aware. The house has a coffee machine and everything you need, although you may wish to bring pool towels. The pool area is set in a beautifully manicured garden and we spend lots of time here as a family. We loved our stay in the Little Suite. the space is small and cozy. we stayed two weeks. we are a couple who loves to cook and, the best part, was to explore the patio for cooking and for long meals and conversations. We went very few times to the restaurant, precisely because we valued our patio the outdoor kitchen more. The biggest challenge was the refrigerator, as there is no freezer for the ice. We quickly resolved this issue by buying ice in the supermix near the drug. We managed to conserve the ice 2 days before it defrosted completely in the refrigerator. We brought few clothes but enough for the relaxed and practical experience of the village. The house is in the heart of the gate. We did not use the car for anything. The beach was 15 min on foot. We are very eager to return. Mr. João is very available, well disposed and careful with his guests. Thank you for everything. We will return**

We always felt very comfortable with Frank and Femke. Both are great hosts and very personable. Frank and Femke have given us many useful tips for activities and restaurant recommendations in the area. :-) The apartment itself is very spacious and well equipped. Good value for money here. The hosts' property is home to many different animals, all of which are lovingly cared for. It was great to see this animal love. Thank you again!

My parents stayed with Charles for a week. They were pampered, surrounded and taken care of by Charles and his friends: visits, restaurants... I would like to thank all the people who are part of this space. A friendship was born. Thank you again for the welcome and for your kindness to all. To be repeated, to be recommended without fear.

Marcia’s farm stay was charming and delightful. It was quiet and very peaceful with beautiful surroundings and chickens. The place was extraordinarily clean and beautiful. Márcia and her husband were extremely friendly and welcoming. Marcia made us lovely fresh eggs for breakfast each morning and booked restaurant reservations at excellent places. We highly recommend this delightful place!

Kinga and Miguel's place is my ideal Airbnb, especially when I'm looking for a relaxed, rural beach vibe. The hosts live on premises in their main house, but each apartment is private. We had our own patio to enjoy the beautiful cool evening breezes and outdoor dining. We spent most of our time outside while at the house, but furniture inside and out is comfortable. A few of Kinga's lovely paintings of the Costa Vicentina complement the modern interior. The pool is comfortable and the outdoor shower is a treat. For us the days of traveling with kids is past but all kinds of travelers will enjoy. The quiet is complimented by the distant sound of the Atlantic -20 min. walk to a cliff for lovely sunsets. Grab your car to access many beaches for surfing, swimming, or to find cool rocks. Kinga and Miguel are great hosts, savvy travelers themselves, so they put together a great guide book. They also surprised us with lovely treats! Four nights was not enough. We highly recommend this airbnb!

we had a wonderful time at Alva's. she was such a welcoming and friendly host and gave us many recommendations of things to do and delicious restaurants. the place is clean quiet and well appointed. There are easy walks to town and amazing beaches. We had no need for a car during our stay, and caught an easy Uber / Bolt from the airport in Lisbon. We would love to return sooner than later. Look forward to our next trip there!

I loved my two weeks at Roseanne’s place. It was exactly what I needed. The peace and serenity I felt was wonderful. I felt comfortable and Roseanne made me feel at home. Honestly, it felt like I wasn’t at a Airbnb but like I was home. I enjoyed the skating bowl as well as a spectator. The area is not too far from Mafra and Ericeria is just a short drive down to the beach and shops. I enjoyed the trail from Roseanne’s down to the beach. All in all, I would highly recommend Roseanne’s place. I am a single woman traveling through Portugal and safety is my number one priority, it felt good to be in a gated Airbnb.

We had a great time at António's. The accommodation is superbly located and a good starting point to explore the island. Restaurants, small supermarkets and the beach are within walking distance and the accommodation is in a quiet location. António was always very accessible and took good care of us. Everything was very clean and the apartment is well equipped. We highly recommend the place.

Great central location near restaurant's, supermarkets, highway, and very quiet. Fabulous view of Punta del Gaudio. Jose was very helpful in getting us acclimated to the area.

We spent four days in the small apartment of Anne Marie's beautiful Maison de charme. There we particularly appreciate the beautiful well-kept garden and the wonderful location. You can walk to fantastic beaches that are not overcrowded by tourists. Annemarie and Anna were perfect hosts who helped us with valuable insider tips.

Johanna was in touch well in advance to make sure I could find her place and had no issues. It is a very welcoming place to stay. Ideal for women travelling alone as it's very safe. I'd recommend her place for anyone wanting to enjoy the beaches around Ericeira.
