Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Posio

Good and inexpensive accommodation for our large group. There was plenty of space and comfortable beds for everyone. We found everything we needed. There was room for two cars and a trailer.

We stayed 1 week at Kati's and everything was perfect, the accommodation there is nothing to say everything is clean, it's great, there is everything you need. We are 50 minutes from Rovaniemi with a direct and very accessible road. One night we saw the northern lights through the window, it was beautiful. I recommend this listing.

The stay was really good, and with the dogs in a great location. We'll definitely be back!

Great stay, close enough to ruka but far enough away to retreat to the peace of the lake.

A beautifully decorated cabin on the lake. Everything you need. Good description of the hostess was completely accurate. Off the beaten path with great excursion destinations to Ruka and Kuusamo.

Great house in Posio city center. The house is not new, but very spaceious. I really liked the calm atmosphere there. House was totally clean with many nice small details. The TV was soooo big! Overall, I really liked this house and I would like to stay there again! I love Posio thats for sure!

Sanna was a great host and responds very quickly to enquiries. The accommodation was near to the main family area of the ski slopes. The accomodation was homely and very cosy. The clothes drier and sauna are a great bonus. We were pleased to have stayed in the valley in comparison to the main village. The valley is very quiet and had the lapland magic of cosy cabins (like this one) amongst snow covered spruce and pine, whilst still only being a gondola ride or short drive away from the restaurants and buzz of the village. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great place in the woods but close to all the winter activities. Well stocked kitchen and really all we needed to be comfortable. Would love to visit again!

The success of the accommodation is best described by the fact that as long as the schedules are met, I will book the same accommodation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ again if possible. Communication with Katri was very smooth. It was easy to get to the accommodation by public transport and the walking distance to Ruka village was suitable. The neighborhood was peaceful. The sauna was nice at the end of a long day outdoors and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. Everything else needed was found in the accommodation. Big thanks to Katri!

We were a group of four staying for a week, and it was a wonderful experience. The place is beautiful—peacefully surrounded by woods, and the classic wooden Lappi mökki was incredibly cozy and charming. It really gave that authentic, relaxing cabin-in-the-forest vibe we were hoping for. If we had to point out anything, it would be that the bunk beds weren’t the most comfortable for our friend who’s 2 meters tall—but for most people, they’d be just fine. All in all, a lovely spot that we’d happily return to!

Cozy cottage in a quiet area. Matched the description well and was a great fit for a four-person getaway. Plus proximity to the ski track, well-equipped kitchen, and curtains on the loft. 😊

Very neat, beautiful and quiet cottage with all the comforts (even a spice rack on top of the last one in good condition). The location of the cottage is just perfect. The large windows offer a beautiful, calming view of the outside, which is occasionally enhanced by the sight of passing reindeer. With Tero, everything was done quickly and effortlessly. We can warmly recommend it and if we ever return to Syte, we will definitely stay in this cottage.

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

We spent four days at the property in January 2025. The cabin was very lonely located on a frozen lake very idyllic and quiet. You could rest completely, without any traffic noise. It was fantastically beautiful, there was a lot of snow on site in January. Especially the sauna was very nice, the extra fees for the HotTub were a bit too high in my opinion, as the cabin was priced higher. It was also not that easy to put it into operation with wood. The main cabin was very well furnished, the kitchen super equipped. With a passr shopping, you could eat yourself very well. However, if you want restaurants or supermarkets nearby, you should book somewhere else, as you had to drive 10-15 minutes here by car. It was so perfect for us. The beds very comfortable, ideal for a family with 4 children. The TV is a little too small for the size of the room.

Our second visit to this cottage, which has a good level of equipment, dishes, spices, and basics. High-quality bedding and linens. Warm decor. Hot tub nicely protected by the forest, in privacy. With dogs, it's easy to go jogging in the woods. We'll have a great time, and I'm sure we'll book again. Thank you to the owner for the welcome!

Perfect cottage in a beautiful location

We had a great stay in Esa's AirBnb. The house is luxurious and great for a relaxing stay for two couples. Esa even helped us, after one of us forgot some equipment, by sending it. Highly recommend!

Our stay with the four of us totally met our expectations - we felt very comfortable and will definitely come back :) Especially great is the quiet location in beautiful countryside, the sauna and the barbecue hut next to the house :)

This stay was MAGIC! We cannot thank Lotta and her team enough! It is incredibly romantic. It offers everything you could wish for. All the kitchen supplies, dishwasher, washing machine, sauna, snowshoes, a hut for cooking over a fire. Your own access to the lake. It feels like you and nature. We were also able to observe one of the most powerful boreal auras ever seen (by us) two nights in a row. The sauna and the dip in the snow renewed our energy. Lotta was really nice and answered all our questions quickly, making us feel cared for. We leave our hearts and souls here and wish you, too, the chance to get in touch with this magical land.
