It is easy to relax in this peaceful holiday resort. 35 m2 log cabin and a separate wood-fired sauna building on a large plot on the shore of Lake Posionjärvi. Electricity and heating are available. In the sleeping area there is a 140 cm bed, on the living room side there are 3 single beds. Kitchenette with stove, microwave, fridge, coffee and kettle, toaster and dishes. No running water or well. Washing water from the lake with buckets for the sauna, drinking water to be brought with you. Outdoor toilet. Rowboat.

Private beach (80 m from the cottage) with an electric outboard motor equipped with a rowing boat. Hot tub, sheets and towels as agreed (extra charge). Snowshoes and children's sleds are allowed. Nearby: e.g. Ruka ski resort 19 km from the cottage (about 20 min drive), Riisitunturi National Park 18 km (about 15 min drive), also Valtavaara, Konttainen, Karhunkierros nearby.

Apart from downhill skiing and cross country skiing (the FIS Nordic Combined season kicks off in Ruka) there are numerous hiking trails, including the famous Karhunkierros (Bear's Round), crosscountry ski &snowmobile routes, biking routes, fishing, bird watching, bear watching and also ample time to enjoy a sauna and peaceful silence.

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!
