Cottage holiday rentals in Praa Sands

My partner and I had a great stay here for a long weekend. The place was so peaceful and quiet but close to amenities. The bed in particular was so comfortable, something I find hard to find at Airbnb’s! Claire and her husband were such lovely hosts and even gave us some free home grown eggs for breakfast. Plus lots of local recommendations. The local is good for seeing both the north and south coast. Easy to get the train too if you don’t fancy driving. 100% would come back and recommend the others too!

We loved our stay in this cottage! It has such a cosy homely feel and is equipped with everything you’d need! The bed was super comfy and it was nice to have a tv in both bedrooms and the living space! The hot tub area was gorgeous and a great place to unwind and relax, very private area! Shaun the host was super friendly and very responsive! We couldn’t fault this place - amazing value for money. Would recommend and would love to return in the future!

We had the most wonderful time.The location of the property is great for exploring and the setting so peaceful! The pictures perhaps did not do it full justice as it was even better!being in a bath over looking the countryside was next level! Clare was very clear on the whole process of how to get to the property,check in,ideas for places to visit and things to do.The personalised written message and goodies are special touches that mean a lot so thank you!cannot praise everything about our stay enough!we hope to be back!X

This was our third stay at Nancy's House. Here are some of the things that drew us back: snug but spacious house that feels loved and lived in, peacefully tucked into a farm where interesting things always seem to be happening, and just a few steps from exhilarating open spaces; lovely hosts. Oh, and the hot-tub is very nice!

A really homely cottage. Perfect for a few days getaway. Unfortunately it rained on our break so ended up stuck inside. It would have been nice to have sat outside more! Overall it has what it says on the tin. Don't go here if you are expecting all mod cons and a pristine home. It's just somewhere cosy to get away from it all, with friendly owners and lots of privacy.

Lovely place. Views are amazing. All the amenities that you could need. Hot tub was perfect with stunning views. Definitely will be coming back again in future

Tracy was very responsive and helpful. You immediately felt like she really cares that her guests have every comfort and feel welcome. The clotted cream and scones on arrival were a lovely touch that we really appreciated. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything you can possibly need. The area was perfect for us and easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit us St Ives, Falmouth to name just two. Our only regret was that it was only a 3 night stay this time but we will be sure to return for longer next time.

We stayed in the cottage for 5 days. The garden was like a small, beautiful paradise, someone has very green fingers. The tub and views were amazing. Inside the cottage was exceptionally clean, with all the amenities you would ever need, of a high quality. Great comfy bed too. Excellent location for exploration. We stayed at Blackbird Studio for five nights and really enjoyed it as our base to explore Cornwall. While the weather wasn’t the best, the house made our stay memorable. The views are really stunning and you have your own little English garden. St Ives and various dog friendly beaches can be reached within a couple of minutes. The house was even more spacious than expected and equipped with everything you need. Lorna made sure we arrived safely and was always on hand. As mentioned in the description, the driveway is very (very!) narrow, but we managed to get through for unpacking/packing and parked in the little carveout by the road on the other days, which was completely fine.

Jago's Loft is genuinely luxurious: spacious, with elegant decor which aptly fits its maritime setting. Beds and sofas are just so comfortable, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you'd never thought of to help you live easily and conveniently. There is a small sunny patio outside the French doors for outdoor living. Alison was readily helpful while rigorously leaving us our privacy. The cottage looks on to a small shared space with lovely garden borders and a long view through to the harbour and the lines of picturesque cottages across the estuary in Falmouth. The 2 mins walk to the out-of-this-world village shop just 2 mins walk away gave us opportunity to commune with the family of 6 small cygnets who frequent the harbour with their parents. We are not drivers, but trains go all the way into Falmouth and the local bus service is excellent for a rural community.

We had a fantastic three days at the Captains cottage. We found the place as described and Amy is an attentive and responsive host. The cottage has been refurbished and furnished beautifully. Everything was in good working order and considering that the house is 300 years old, there is good space and the layout works really well. The cottage lies within walking distance of the South West path and some breathtakingly beautiful beaches are all within half an hours drive. Shops and pubs near by. We loved the welcome touches such as the makings of a cream tea with clotted cream and a pint of milk! Fantastic gem in the most beautiful part of Cornwall. Thank you Amy 😃

Even Keel is charming beyond words. We didn't know much about Mousehole or the Mousehole Cat before our stay, and it is now one of our favorite places. The home has all you need for a self-catering stay of several days: fully equipped kitchen, nice beds and bathrooms, and a washer/dryer. The only tricky thing (as an American driver) was parking. I would advise any beginners to park in the big Parade lot on the outskirts of town. The North Quay lot is a shorter walk but a little tricky to navigate into and often full. The South Quay lot - just around the corner from Even Keel - was nerve wracking to drive into and then was completely full. (As for "street" parking, I would strongly advise against even considering to try this; just pay to use one of the lots and enjoy your holiday!)

Lovely cottage. With easy access to the local beaches, walks, gardens, village store, etc, And amazing weather!

Quaint Cornish cottage. So lovely and quiet. Great local pub. We have a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

Praze Barn is the loveliest place to stay for a peaceful retreat. We had the nicest time - the local area is amazingly beautiful and the barn felt fitting to return to as it was gorgeous, cozy and bright. Lots of great info about the area in the guide left in the house which was really useful. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially if you want a peaceful weekend away - perfect place to reset!

We had a wonderful stay at Mousehole, what a fantastic village. Ben’s place was a perfect location with stunning views at low or high tide. We loved the decor in the house which was so fitting for the location. A special,unique part of Cornwall and certainly a highlight for us. We had a lovely 4 night stay in the cottage . It is well positioned and slightly away from the main bustle and noise in Mousehole . Although you can not park directly in front of the cottage you can bag drop . The cottage was spotless and very well equipped. The rooms are spread on 3 floors so be mindfull of steep stairs but that is explained . A very good place to stay and would highly recommend this place .

Our second stay at the Loft, and just as great as the first. Lovely cottage, very well equipped, super comfy bed and very nicely decorated. Great communication with Neil throughout, we'd highly recommend a stay here. Mousehole as lovely as ever, thanks for a great stay!

Such a beautiful peaceful area ans able to walk to several great beaches, such friendly hosts and helpful. Lovely beds to sleep in slept soooo well! And plenty to do for all the family, escpeically borrowing sports equipment during our stay. Thanks so much harriet! xx

Leslie and Johnny were excellent hosts, very warm and welcoming to what is a wonderful location (the barn) with views, an extensive garden to wander in and a lovely lakeside summerhouse to enjoy. Plenty of excellent advice for those not familiar with the area, particularly dining. Leslie and Johnny went the extra mile for us by shuffling their reservations to enable us to add another 'unplanned' night to our stay, for which we are extremely grateful. If you are hesitating about booking Cliff Cottage in Portloe then please don’t even question it…just book it! By far the loveliest Air B n b we have had the privilege to stay in. Annie and Giovanni are perfect hosts. Charming, warm, always available and welcoming but never intrusive. Together they have created a little piece of heaven. The cottage is gorgeous and perfectly situated. The incomparable views, peace and tranquillity, creative interior design, attention to detail, thoughtful extras and the comfort and cleanliness of the cottage combine to create something truly magical. They have literally thought of everything. We felt instantly at home. My husband spent most of his time staring out of the window enjoying the views and we loved spending time in the garden and enjoying the sound of the waves. Loads to do in the local area. Stunning coastal walks in either direction and the village of Portloe captured our hearts. We truly did not want to leave.

We had a lovely week in Nadine's cottage with everything we needed. Beautifully decorated and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony with the great view. Good location for enjoying the area with plenty to do and see. We would definitely recommend and hopefully will be able to come again
