This was really such a cosy place to stay in. Big and comfortable, beautiful views, quiet but yet close to town. We were a group of friends and everybody loved the place

One word to describe this place and home, ZEN! Beautiful home with a welcoming feel. Relaxing atmosphere at the pool and walking the labyrinth was so calming for the mind! We loved our stay, and Ampie our host was really wonderful, welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed the restaurant “De Krans” close by. Highly recommend!

Oh WOW! From the start this was a special place. Julia communicated with more information way before the booking so we knew about braai-packs, meals, horse riding etc. written in a very charming PDF. The house already had milk, farm butter, marmalade, Doornkraal Chenin Blanc in the fridge, coffee (and a plunger!!) tea, rusks, plums from that day's harvest. When travelling on a roadtrip, having things like this means we could really just arrive. +50 points for this! Breakfast was delicious! Fresh fruits, brand and cheese scones that we immediately slathered with the delicious butter, quince jam and marmalade from the fridge.Doornkraal farmstall lunch (20 mins away) - most delicious roosterkoeke and dessert wine. We also did a horse ride on the beautiful farm and ended with a sunset picnic which was incredible. Each bite amazing, delicious chutney, mustard, ostrich fillet, stuf more roosterkoek and their sparkling wine. Amazing people, special place, we will be back. Huis. Baie dankie!

We enjoyed a very peaceful stay at Cango retreat with a lot of friendly animals on site and in a beautiful location.

Very enjoyable farm stay with a very friendly and hospitable family, surrounded by beautiful nature. The house is not big but comfortable and has anything you need for a short break. Especially loved the hot tub, which the hosts kindly fired every night for me - what pleasure to relax in hot water and admire the night sky full of stars! Louis and his family are such open, friendly and hospitable people - it is a privilege to have been given an opportunity to be their guest. The farm is not far from Oudtshoorn and is easily accessible, I was given clear instructions and had no problem at all finding the place. Great stay overall.

Petro was a gracious host and so lovely. She has the cutest 7 month old puppies, unfortunately they stayed behind the gate so we couldn't play with them :) The rural area has incredible WiFi and while the home was originally built in 1888, it's amenities are perfectly usable. The indoor fireplace was so cozy, the beds were very comfortable and there was solar when we had unexpected loadshedding! Definitely recommend to walk the 5km hike route, take some dry socks as we walked through a overflowing stream (so beautiful!). Highly recommend Die Tuinhuis in Calitzdorp for a delicious brekkie, too!

Our family had the most amazing stay at your accommodation. The chalet is beautiful, with all the best finishes, from the rooms, bathrooms and kitchen! Anton is so helpful and informative, and nothing was too much effort for the staff. The most beautiful views, even from the (very well kept) pool area. We will definitely be back in the near future! Thank you for making the final part of our holiday such a memorable one!

The lovely peaceful location is wonderful, with the town of Oudtshoorn 10 minutes away. The house has everything you require for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Comfortable beds. Amazing inside braai lounge for when it's cold outside. The outside stoep is warm and the large garden was fantastic for our two furkids.

The house is large and spacious with every facility you could need with sleeping for ten’. We had a family holiday here and we’re never in each other’s faces. The night sky is fantastic - there’s lots to do in and around Prince Albert if you like the outdoors.

We could not have loved our stay here anymore. It’s the most special, magical place with everything you could need. It’s incredibly quiet and relaxing spot, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Bronwyn provided lots of helpful info on local walks which we enjoyed. There’s a gorgeous river to swim in as well a row boat and kayak. The accommodation is gorgeous with all the facilities you could need. We highly recommend to anyone considered staying at Bronwyn’s place!!

We only stayed one night. We did not need much. but everything was there. We enjoyed an evening around the fire on the stoep.

Gill and Michael have an amazing place! Please make sure to start a fire outside and soak in the stars (highlight of the evening!). Thank you for being amazing hosts, Gill and Mike! I'm coming back on my step trip to the Klein Karoo!

The De Kombuys cottage is a realy wonderful stop in Oudtschoorn. And It really worth a few more kilometer if you are in the area. We had a stop for one night with our family of 5. We had the pleasure to enjoy very nice cottage , just renovated with a lot of taste and astute . I was Lovely. For diner we enjoyed a full wagyu discovery. All the family loved it. We added to the pleasure with a 2015 De Kombuys shiraz (for the adults only). All the team was really nice and helpful. It a place that we we all remember.

We loved staying at PurePlaas. It was perfectly peaceful and private. Sonja was a great host and we loved chatting with her. We also loved her 2 beautiful, friendly dogs! The space had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We could have easily spent a week or more there. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Great value for money. Beautiful tent with an amazing bathroom. Outside shower was fantastic. One thing to note is that tent 9 and tent 10 are in an area with a pool with no net so parents with young children might want to choose the other tents if their children aren't water safe. A great stay.

We had a lovely stay celebrating a friend's birthday. One suggestion would be to equip the kitchen with a few more platters and larger serving bowls to enable cooking and serving larger groups of people. Also perhaps some lamps in the lounge to create more ambience. It was either very bright lights while eating at the dining table / sitting in the lounge or in the dark with just the kitchen lights as lighting. Other than that we had a lovely stay and highly recommend your establishment for a comfortable stay for large families.

Without a doubt great value for money. We stayed in the River tented accommodation (Number 5) and it was amazing. Cozy and warm with a beautiful bath tub and situated right on the river. So much to do for kids on the property from feeding animals, bass fishing, playground, hikes, not to mention very close to Cango caves, orstich farm and the Cango crocs. My only regret was not staying longer! Stop looking and just click pay now....Trust me. nothing better than this in the area. get a tented camp on the river or one in the mountain side....you won't be disappointed .

Stay here! Absolutely beautiful location, Elanda was SO helpful and welcoming, even after we arrived later than expected. The house has everything you need and lots of space. I would 100% come back and recommend!

Peter is an awesome and gregarious host. He is very knowledgeable on a wide variety of topics, both local and global and holds an intelligent conversation. He has a great sense of humor and is very hospitable. The place is set in a kloof with awesome hills, water and bush around and is very tranquil. It is well worth travelling the dirt road till 11km outside Calitzdorp. Great value for money

The location is so magestic, with beautiful Swartberg mountain just in front of the house. Huge property with anything you need inside. Just relax here, enjoy fresh air, peaceful surroundings, hike to the mountain, running / cycling around. Maryna, her mother in law live nearby and really helpful to help us book restaurant. Patat restaurant nearby has the best food in town, even this the best food we've been so far.

We stay here every year and will continue to do so for many more... Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful surroundings, peaceful and the restaurant is awesome...
