The Mowhay (work from home with WiFi)

DeanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We spent 3 nights staying at the Mowhay. It was the perfect mix of peaceful hideaway whilst being well connected to major roads and local amenities. The accommodation was well laid out with a very well equipped kitchen. Claire was great at communicating from booking to check out and we met Geoff a couple of times during our stay who was super friendly. Would thoroughly recommend!

A luxury cottage at Glen Silva Farm

AbigailRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a wonderful stay at Silva Cottage. The cottage was beautiful and had everything a person could need and very clean. The location was amazing set in woods and so so quiet apart from the birds which were a delight to see and hear especially watching the comings and going’s of Woodpeckers on the bird feeder. The hot tub was spectacular.Set in the woods nothing could compare to sitting back and enjoying the tub with a glass of fizz. We had a great recommendation from Lorraine for an Indian Takeaway which delivered to the cottage and ate a great lunch at The Tamar Inn at Calstock. Great location for walkers with Dartmoor on one side and Bodmin Moor on the other plus the coastal path. Would highly recommend this property and would love to return.

The Hobbit Hole Dogs Welcome! Fast WiFi. Hot Tub

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A really homely cottage. Perfect for a few days getaway. Unfortunately it rained on our break so ended up stuck inside. It would have been nice to have sat outside more! Overall it has what it says on the tin. Don't go here if you are expecting all mod cons and a pristine home. It's just somewhere cosy to get away from it all, with friendly owners and lots of privacy.

Wisteria Cottage

DarrenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely cottage crammed with period features and charm. Fabulous host, really attentive and communicated pro actively. The location made it, you step out of the garden onto the Chappel Valley path which follows the steam, that flows through your garden, down to Chappel Porth Cove which is amazing. If the Cove looks like nothing special then it's high tide, when the tide goes out its miles of golden sand and hidden caves, stunning. Lovely coastal walk to StAgnes which is a lovely place to explore, so many lovely places to eat. The dressed crab at the Tap House is amazing. Arrival was lovely, Laura had left us a locally sourced cream tea, local teas and coffees, fresh flowers, even shampoos for our dog, so thoughtful. We absolutely loved our stay thank you

We loved our stay at the Little Forge. Sue was a superb host and gave us loads of great recommendations. We really appreciated the welcome pack of milk, bread, eggs etc as it meant we could have a lovely lazy morning after our first night. The annexe was exactly as described, extremely well appointed with everything we could need for our week long stay with our dog, including dishwasher and washing machine soaps, good selection of utensils and salt/pepper/oil. The courtyard garden is delightful suntrap and overall the location could not be more peaceful. We’d love to come back again.

Trefronick farm, Carriage house

JulieRating, 5 stars5 months ago
As a family of 8 & 3 generations celebrating Christmas & a special birthday, the farmhouse was simply magical. Will & Danni went above all our expectations with Christmas trees & selection boxes for the kids. The farm looked so beautiful with all the fairy lights & we found everything we needed to cook Christmas dinner for 12! Thank you so much for a simply amazing stay which allowed us to celebrate our first Christmas in six years as a family. We couldn’t recommend you highly enough & hope to be back in the future. We have had a lovely week at Riverside Cottage, the cottage is picture perfect , very clean and had everything you could need. Adrian and Lucy were friendly, welcoming and helpful without intruding , they were very understanding of our anxious dog and the private, secluded garden at the garden was perfect, lovely local walks right next to the cottage. A perfect relaxing and restful stay. Will certainly go again.

Luxury Cottage for 2 with sea views & parking

HelenRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Jago's Loft is genuinely luxurious: spacious, with elegant decor which aptly fits its maritime setting. Beds and sofas are just so comfortable, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you'd never thought of to help you live easily and conveniently. There is a small sunny patio outside the French doors for outdoor living. Alison was readily helpful while rigorously leaving us our privacy. The cottage looks on to a small shared space with lovely garden borders and a long view through to the harbour and the lines of picturesque cottages across the estuary in Falmouth. The 2 mins walk to the out-of-this-world village shop just 2 mins walk away gave us opportunity to commune with the family of 6 small cygnets who frequent the harbour with their parents. We are not drivers, but trains go all the way into Falmouth and the local bus service is excellent for a rural community.

GenevieveRating, 5 starstoday
Fabulous 2 night stay. Great base to explore Falmouth and various towns and villages along the coast and up the estuary/Roads, with a good selection of cafes and restaurants nearby. The accommodation was as advertised and spotlessly clean. Annette was very friendly and helpful on check in with local recommendations, plus we appreciated the personal touch of delicious homemade flapjacks and fresh cut garden flowers. The patio area was lovely too. Perfect short break, thank you.

Truck House, luxury accommodation, pet friendly

JacciRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We spent a warm and sunny week in Truck House and found it ideal for 3 couples and our granddaughter. Nice to have your own bathroom/space as well as enough furniture inside and outside to relax. The house and garden ls are well cared for, and the kitchen/utility room are well equipped. We felt at home and ate in most days. We attended the quiz night and had dinner at the local pub one evening and were made very welcome. The village has an excellent farm shop as well as a garage and grocery shops. We explored the coastline and found many dog friendly beaches, good walks and entertainment. The Lost Gardens of Heligan was a highlight, Trelissick Gardens and the Pandora Inn. Also Tate St Ives. Fiona and Mark were extremely helpful and friendly which contributed to a memorable family holiday in a beautiful part of the Country. We hope to visit again one day - or Newlyn! Many thanks. ⭐️Cosy 2 bedroom cottage with terrace on cliff edge

LisaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
If you are hesitating about booking Cliff Cottage in Portloe then please don’t even question it…just book it! By far the loveliest Air B n b we have had the privilege to stay in. Annie and Giovanni are perfect hosts. Charming, warm, always available and welcoming but never intrusive. Together they have created a little piece of heaven. The cottage is gorgeous and perfectly situated. The incomparable views, peace and tranquillity, creative interior design, attention to detail, thoughtful extras and the comfort and cleanliness of the cottage combine to create something truly magical. They have literally thought of everything. We felt instantly at home. My husband spent most of his time staring out of the window enjoying the views and we loved spending time in the garden and enjoying the sound of the waves. Loads to do in the local area. Stunning coastal walks in either direction and the village of Portloe captured our hearts. We truly did not want to leave.

What a luxury to escape to such a beautiful home steeped in history, literally hugging the cliff in an idyllic smugglers' village, with views out to sea as far as the horizon. Thoughtfully equipped for every need, preference and configuration of family. A starter pack of everything that, if carefully used, lasts the week. And handy info, maps and books that make staying in as adventurous as going out. What's more, Fiona has a genuine care for every guest's experience, with clear, warm communication and swift troubleshooting. A huge thank you for a welcome break from the busyness of everyday life!
