We had such a great stay here! The space is lovely and the surroundings felt so peaceful. Meg was a great host and would recommend!

We couldn’t have picked a better place for our two night stay. The location is secluded away from the hassle and bustle of Puerto Viejo but close where you can take a Tuk Tuk or bike ride (easy to rent nearby) to the center. Playa Chiquita is the closest beach but you can also visit Cocles and Punta Uva (our fave). The Airbnb has all the amenities you need and the host, Stephanie, was very responsive. We hope to return to this hidden oasis soon!

Wonderful place to stay in Puerto viejo. Everything is in walking distance and the cahuita national park and manzanillo Refugio are just 20-30min by car. Our host was very nice and reacted very quickly and relaxed when we locked us out one time 😅 I can only recommend this place to everyone wanting to stay in the area.

The place is lovely and very lovingly furnished. It is located in the countryside with great views of nature. We could watch the sloths and monkeys from the terrace. It is quiet, safe and all destinations in Puerto Viejo are easily accessible. The apartment is well laid out, very clean and it has everything you need. If you have any questions, there is also a very nice contact person on site. Highlight of the apartment is the beautiful terrace and the practical kitchen. We felt very comfortable all around, it was like coming home. We highly recommend the place for a nice stay in Puerto Viejo and will definitely be back. Thanks for the nice week!

First time in Costa Rica, and I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was attentive, and the beach house was more than expected. The private beach was less than 2min away, and breathtaking. The included breakfast was disappointing at first: fruits, bread, butter and jelly, but it was filling. I loved the guava jelly, and my boyfriend enjoyed the fruit. I would recommend this to anyone looking for privacy, tranquility, and nature. Best place to stay on the Caribbean coast.

Erin and her husband are incredibly warm and welcoming people who went out of their way to make us feel at home. The house is beautifully laid out, especially for a family with young children and perhaps grandparents as well. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are conveniently located close together on the lower level, and there is another bedroom with a private bathroom upstairs. There are two spacious terraces — one on the ground floor and one upstairs — perfect for doing yoga or meditation while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The pool and house offer complete privacy, which made our stay feel truly relaxing and secluded. At the same time, it’s reassuring to know that Erinn and her husband live nearby, always available to help or offer great local tips. Both are incredibly kind and helpful. The pool is fantastic — you can keep an eye on the kids. We felt incredibly comfortable and were warmly welcomed by Erinn and her husband. We will definitely come back on our next visit!

Maria is a sweet woman with a heart for nature, her beautiful garden full of flowers and her cozy house and airbnb. She is happy to help ensure you have a wonderful stay but also respects your privacy. You will notice everything that Maria has an eye for authentic coziness. Congo-Bongo is literally AMAZING. Words cannot even describe how BEAUTIFUL the property and location is. You are deep in the jungle and surrounded by the most beautiful flora and fauna. I was in awe the entire time! I stayed in the Dream Nature House and highly recommend. It’s one of the deepest bungalows on the property, the walk to it is incredible, and the private beach pathway is directly across from it. The walk/adventure to the beach is literally everything. I’m obsessed, it’s SO gorgeous!! Book Congo-Bongo!! The staff is amazing, super responsive communication, they come everyday to clean for you, anything you need they will help. The whole place is covered in sustainable art. Love them! Lastly, one of my favorite highlights was Pinglin, the black property dog. She stayed with me everyday, kept me company, protected the area, and even went to the beach with me! I love her and will miss her! If you see her, give her a squeeze for me!
