Old Coal House: a cosy village hideaway by the sea

Stunning little space. Bedroom and bathroom both lovely. Could do with either a mini fridge and/or kettle if you wanted to make the stay longer. Perfect for a night or two!

The Applehay

I felt so welcomed by Kat and Oliver. They shared their home and it was a little bit of paradise. It was tranquil peaceful and very private just what I needed. The place is well equipped and has lovely features like a fire and a bath outside which was so amazing! I would definitely recommend this little place and I would love to come back again

Cosy cottage in historic Penryn with parking.

AoibhinRating, 5 stars2 days ago
What a beautiful little cottage in a great location! Penryn itself is very pretty and historic, but it was also a great location for visiting the Sea Shanty Festival in Falmouth- a picturesque 45min walk along the coast, or handy to train and bus stops. The cottage had everything we needed for a few nights. (Although preparing food was a bit of a challenge as the kitchen is extremely compact!) But this wasn’t a problem as there are lots of good places to eat. We would recommend Muddy Beach and Thirsty Scholar. The cottage was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The added bonus of a parking space just around the corner was fantastic as it is difficult to find a property with its own parking space. Sharon was great- always quick to reply to my messages, checking to make sure we had arrived okay and that we had everything we needed. I would absolutely recommend Sharon’s property on Helston Road as a great place to stay if you are visiting the area.

We had a magical stay at Clemi’s, it exceeded our expectations and had everything we needed for our break. So lovely and cozy surrounded by pretty gardens- and a short stroll to a great pub too! Thank you Clemi!

Cosy Cornish cottage, countryside charm & parking

RosemaryRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Lovely property in a beautiful position. All amenities as described and very well equipped. Extremely quiet, but still very convenient for Falmouth. Richard and Hellen very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Very good centre for exploring this part of Cornwall, but be aware of the 20mph limits in every village, even on some A roads! Stunning grounds to the cottages, lovely to have use of the meadow, etc. Husband even managed to have his morning jogs around the meadow! Visits from a baby bunny as well. Would definitely recommend the cottage and would book again if we came down here in the future.

Lake, valley, & sea views, close to Falmouth

Perfect! The Harmony Hut is blissful, we arrived late but the instructions were spot on and everything was in order. There’s no heating which might be a challenge in October but a beautifully laid fire in the wood burning stove sorted that out minutes after we arrived. The Hut is actually a mobile home with clever bespoke interior and super decor. Damian & Mandy have thought of everything and the welcome package & honesty bar are a lovely touch. Having arrived in the dark it wasn’t until we woke up (after a good night’s sleep) to a beautiful sunrise & appreciated the fabulous view! Joyous! Also less than 10 mins to the Penryn Campus of Exeter Uni - the reason for our trip. Thank you, a well deserved 5 stars!
