Holiday rentals with a patio in Rangitikei River

As per usual I had a beautifil stay at Karins country retreat. Thankyou, can’t wait for my next stay.

Absolutely perfect! Warm, clean, comfortable, private, quiet. Ticked all our boxes. Hopefully our base for Palmerston North visit in the future.

This generous sized, two bedroom place was aptly described as cosy! We stayed on a wet and cold weekend and yet we were warm and comfortable. Everything was new and clean and the beds were lovely. Allena was a great host and gave clear directions and instructions. We were very happy with our stay

Thanks so much for hosting my son and two of the students he coaches. He said the place was fantastic, well beyond what he was expecting. He felt very comfortable there. I so appreciated the communication beforehand and thank you so much for checking in with them to see if they needed additional blankets.

The apartment was pristine and cozy! We really appreciated Anna’s attention to detail with all the amenities and household features; the view was beautiful and our stay was absolute bliss.

Ken was quick to reply to initial request to book and very prompt to respond to communication during our stay. Lovely accommodation in peaceful neighbourhood with access to everything you might need & great riverside walking, we’d have booked for longer if we’d known!

The location was unbeatable, close to everything we needed yet peaceful and private. The apartment had everything we could possibly want and more – from fully equipped amenities to thoughtful personal touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. Our host was outstanding – responsive, warm, and genuinely attentive to every detail, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay. This was hands down one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. We highly recommend it and would return in a heartbeat. An amazing place and a five-star experience all the way.

We absolutely loved our stay - this Airbnb is truly a gem! We loved the spa pool, the house had everything we needed, it was beautiful, peaceful, very comfortable, perfect really. Amazing views too! Would come again. 🌟

House was well equipped and very spacious.Lovely large back and front gardens.Bus stop nearby but not many buses so we used taxis into town and back. Host was very helpful on the two occasions I called her. There were only 2 of us but would be great for a family. We enjoyed our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jodie’s place for a special family reunion. It fit all 11 of us easily and didn’t feel cramped. It was tidy and clean, and when we accidentally locked ourselves out at one point we were able to call and get back in within minutes! We all talked about coming back one day, as we enjoyed the space so much. Thanks Jodie.

We had an absolutely blast calling Annie's home our own home away from home :) it was spacious and warm and quiet, and was just what was needed to get away from the big city ! Would recommend both the home and Annie to future travellers ! Many thanks from us all

We had a wonderful stay with Anna. The home looked just like the pictures. It had great kitchen facilities and plenty of room for the number of people that were staying (x6). Unfortunately the weather wasn't great (it rained for the 3 days we were there) so extra care is needed if using the ramp leading to the front door as the rain made it very slippery. Apart from that I'd highly recommend Anna's place for a large group (such as my team) or a large(ish) family looking for somewhere to stay. Anna was very welcoming, checked in with us during out stay and accommodated my request for an early check in to allow for visitors that were arriving before 2 pm. A great place to stay if visiting Whanganui. Thank you for the lovely stay Anna.

We had a great family stay at Nicholas's place. It was perfect for us. It is well set up with everything for an easy stay and really easy to walk around town. Highlights or us were the board games, comfy beds and great showers! It's a lovely warm space on a wintery weekend.
