We had a fantastic stay at Tim’s place! The location was perfect – just around the corner from local amenities and right in the heart of town. It was also only about 10 minutes to the forest and around 30 minutes to Whitby, which made day trips really easy. The hot tub was spotless and ready to use as soon as we arrived, and we were greeted with a lovely bottle of Prosecco – such a thoughtful touch. Tim was an incredibly responsive and understanding host throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be back in the future

Had a lovely weekend at this cottage for my partner’s birthday. Hot tub was gorgeous, even better in the rain. House was beautiful and having the chickens running around outside was fabulous. Marisa was the perfect host. Answered questions quickly and was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend a stay in this lovely cottage.

3 Railway Cottage is a fantastic base to explore the amazing beauty of North Yorkshire. The cottage is located a 20 minute walk from the centre of Pickering but is in a really quiet and private location. The only exception of course is the opportunity to wave at the heritage railway trains that pass at the back of the cottage a few times a day which is really amazing, especially if you wave from the comfort of the hot tub! I can’t recommend this location highly enough, it is a really comfortable and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location - what more could you ask for?

We had a fantastic stay here for 4 nights. It was beautifully clean and had everything and more we needed. Such lovely hosts, very responsive should you need them. Great location! Such an easy drive to a lot of places. We visited Whitby, Scarborough, Pickering, Thornton Le Dale and more! All under 1 hours drive away. Cottage is so homely and very welcoming 😊 Amazing that each room has their own en-suite. Beds are so comfy! Downstairs bedroom was great for us with someone in the party having mobility issues. Games room is a fabulous touch! Sauna and hot tub both very clean. Highly recommend to stay here. Thanks for a wonderful stay 🥰

Lovely cottage in a great location. Walking the surrounding area from the house was great and very near to a pub and tearoom which both served great food. The hot tub was an added bonus!

Lovely relaxing cottage with everything we needed. Very cosy and relaxing setting with great views from back windows. Enclosed garden for dog or children. Hot tub was a great perk which was well used by us. Rillington village within 10 min walk which had a small shop and a nice pub ( the fleece). Tips for other travellers The fleece in rillington has a nice garden of weather nice and the food was nice too and dog friendly Ham and cheese which is a 5 minute drive the food was very good and dog friendly too although probably too far to walk Lots of walks nearby, we went to dalby Forrest, mallyham spout in goathland and Levisham near Pickering New Connie’s Chinese in malton was also very good

We had the most beautiful stay — the cottage was peaceful, private, and instantly felt like home. Everything was spotless and smelt amazing, with such a lovely, calming vibe throughout. The decor was gorgeous, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The hot tub was the perfect finishing touch for a truly relaxing weekend. The hosts went above and beyond with thoughtful details like fresh eggs in the morning and chocolates waiting for us on arrival. Communication was smooth and friendly from start to finish. You can really feel the care and effort put into every part of the stay. I’d absolutely recommend this place — it’s a little gem, and I’d love to return!

We have had a lovely holiday. We found the bungalow to be very clean, the sofas and beds were very comfortable and there was everything we needed for our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better location , sitting in the garden or in the sunroom listening to the waves made for a very relaxing holiday. Lisa was a great host and we hope to return soon.

The coziest Airbnb I have ever stayed it. It was perfect!!!!! Lovely cottage. Cozy beds. Amazing bathroom. Great location. I would give this Airbnb 6/5 stars if I could.

We loved our stay here as a family with two young children (toddler and under 1) and a dog. The location was perfect, with a short nip up the hill into town and so close to the beach. The house had everything we needed - Joe & Sarah made it very comfortable for us and easy to travel by providing a high chair and travel cot. Parking on the road (in June) was easy during the week, had to wait a little longer for a space close by at the weekend (but we always managed to get one). We hope to return when we visit Filey again.

Warm and comfortable cottage. It was obvious the Jenny had given a lot of thought into how the cottage was set up. The kitchen had all the basics needed for preparing meals. Tea, coffee and some nice biscuit and a welcome bottle of wine. The lounge was cosy and there were files of useful information about the house and the local area. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had lots of essentials, the shower was great and lots of hot water….there was also a bath. We had taken our bikes and it was great to have a summer house to store them in. The area was really quiet. We really enjoyed our weeks stay.

It was a beautiful little home and we are so pleased we got the chance to stay there, really private with great views. The garden was enclosed so it was good to be allowed to let the dog out into the garden without a worry. It was really central so we could get to a lot of places and it really felt like home. 🩷

We rented this place for a long weekend for Father’s Day. It was absolutely ideal for our needs. It is in walking distance to Scarborough’s front and provided some epic views out the window. Parking is at an absolute premium in Scarborough and while parking permits were provided, finding a place to park is a challenge. However we did manage to find a spot (probably didn’t help that we arrived quite late on a Friday evening). I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Scarborough and be right where everything is. It’s all a walkable distance.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was of a very high standard with beautiful furniture, very comfortable bed and a high quality kitchen. We loved all the extra touches like the personalised mats and shell wall decorations. Hunmanby was a great place to stay. Lovely beach walks and the local fish and chip shop is a must for fish lovers. Thank you very much Michelle. We were very impressed with everything! Our dog Molly had a lovely time too. Griff Cottage is beautiful and finished to a very high standard, Paul and Cath have thought of everything to make your stay .The welcome gifts of wine,milk and cakes was a lovely surprise to the start of our holiday & helpful instructions suggestions to local attractions,restaurants,pubs.We would highly recommend .It is located in a beautiful setting close to the beach and soooper dog friendly with wonderful coastal walks .

Lisa’s sweet cottage is a world away from the world in a spectacular rural village. The trails in the local area lead to other spectacular places of scenic charm and beauty. Lisa is a lovely, welcoming host with a talent for providing comfortable accommodation with an artful flair. Our stay will be a cherished memory!

We had a fantastic time at Byre Cottage. The property was kept immaculate, with all the facilities one could ask for. We’ve just returned from a fantastic week at Jane’s cottage in Robin Hood’s Bay and couldn’t be happier. The cottage is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with everything a family could need. It was the perfect base for exploring the coast – peaceful, cosy, and full of charm. Jane was a wonderful host, and everything was spotless on arrival. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. Five stars all the way – we’ll be back as soon as we can!

The house in Robin Hoods Bay provided the perfect place for a family holiday. Ideally located in the lower bay near to the beach. Parking nearby a real bonus. It was more spacious than expected and characterfully decorated. The top floor boat bed was a delight. The well equipped kitchen allowed enjoyable meal preparation. Good quality bed linen and towels. If returning to RHB wouldn’t look to stay anywhere else.

Beautiful relaxing spot… everything you could need and fine detail paid to requirements .. a real home from home. Christmas decorations were subtle, gorgeous real fir tree with twinkly lights and a cosy warm log burner…Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again!

The location is perfect, with Whitby and Robins Hood Bay close by. We were not expecting how spectacular the country side is, and the views from the cottage were stunning. Margaret is the perfect host, and her accomodation is of the highest quality. Ten out if Ten from us!

Right in the heart of beautiful Robin Hood's Bay and close to many other great places to visit - Whitby, Scarborough etc. Easy to find, parking instructions were really clear. Narrow stairs and low roofs, but as expected in an older house in such a cool spot! Quiet at night even when there was a wedding. Lots of toys and kid-friendly.
