Only 3 miles from Downtown Pepin and a short drive from places like Maiden Rock, Stockholm, Wabasha, Lake City and Red Wing, MN. Year round this space offers a peaceful escape to get out into nature along the Great River Road for your family and friends to enjoy and relax in one of natures preserves.

Water's Edge House on Tainter Lake

Gorgeous little house with cap cod feel, right on the water. We call this baby "Water's Edge on Tainter Lake". Perfect way for a quick escape from the Twin cities, only 50 minutes away. Fish off the permanent dock on the water. Beautiful views and sunsets on a fun, active recreational lake. Short boat ride to Jake's super club. Some guests say its a "private location", but we are on a very active lake with houses close by. Please read our "other details to note" for more info.

Echo Point's guest cabin is a unique and tranquil getaway perched on the edge of the water with a grand view of Tainter Lake, about an hour east of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. This renovated cabin - originally built in the 1950's atop a boathouse - provides guests the feeling of being in the trees overlooking the lake. It is the perfect getaway to unwind in nature. Our cozy cottage on the banks of the Willow River is ideally situated for enjoying the Willow River State Park experience while enjoying the comforts of home. Willow Falls is a short walk, and the main entrance is one mile from the front door. The cottage has a unique walk-in shower, luxurious tub, and full kitchen for your own use. The main master bedroom has a queen bed, barnboard walls, large windows, access to back deck & outdoor hottub. Two twin beds in front room sleep 2.

25 minutes from Menomonie (UW-Stout), 45 minutes to Eau Claire, 1 hr 15 minutes to MN. Kamshire Valley's Main Cabin offers an abundance of wildlife viewing, an inviting large brick patio and firepit, miles of trails for snowshoeing, hiking and cross-country skiing. Has 1 bedroom with Queen bed; If you need more rooms we have 2 additional rustic cabins (air, heat-no bathroom) that are available for additional $50/ cabin/night. The best nature has to offer, bring your camera!
