Its private, set within our garden overlooking Carn Brea Castle and The Great Flat Lode with views towards St Ives Bay, the North Cliffs and to the right is St Agnes Beacon. We are positioned centrally between the North and South coasts of Cornwall approx 1 hr from Lands End. The perfect place to base yourself from & explore Cornwall

A beautiful captains cottage, of granite stone built, 1820 ideal for 2 adults 2 teenagers, a self contained flat, free street parking, private entrance, kitchenette, wood stove fire (free wood provided), beautiful original flagstone flooring, exposed ceiling beams and a stunning walk in shower. As soon as you walk in time seems to stop, it will be difficult to leave. There is a magic here, perhaps it's the colors emanating from the natural walls & floor. A coastal retreat ideal for remote work.

Portreath is a village and fishing port on the north coast of Cornwall. Portreath is about three miles northwest of Redruth and has a harbour and is a Sandy beach cove. Portreath has several pubs that serve tasty food and local drinks. There is a bakery, corner shop, several take always and a few cosy cafes too that serve drinks, cakes and light lunches. There are 2 bedrooms. Dogs allowed on beach most of year but between 1st July and 30th August can only go on there b4 10am and after 6pm.

Flat 3 forms a large part of the first floor, it is very bright and inviting offering a high degree of privacy while giving lovely elevated views at the front and rear of trees and rooftops. There are working shutters on the windows. The Queen size bed is extremely comfortable and has high quality cotton bed linen. There is a zero tolerance policy to smoking or vaping!.

Close to high street with many shops including 3 big supermarkets within walking distance. 5-10 minutes walk from train station and buses that run to many attractions. Could fit 8 people with pull out sofa bed in lounge. Close to many different beaches and coves. Internet included. There is no parking, can park in residential streets nearby or town carpark.
