Holiday rentals with lake access in Rhea County

Our family enjoyed our stay. There were 7 of us ranging from 20-82 and we all felt there was enough space, especially being able to use the back patio. We spent much of our time sitting out there enjoying the peaceful setting and watching all the bird activity. It was convenient having access to the garage for additional storage space. The kitchen was well stocked. The only item missing (imo) was a hairdryer. We visit Dayton several times a year and we hope to return to this house in our future travels.

If I could give 6 stars I would. The area is beautiful and peaceful. The house was clean, and this is the first time I’ve written this for an Airbnb, the beds were very comfortable. Everything was well stocked. We were given a list of recommended restaurants, there were kayaks and life jackets for us to use, and the hosts were overall accommodating. We had a request and they called and explained where to find what we were looking for; they were extremely kind. My family will be sure to come back and we highly recommend booking here.

This place is just like heaven. The view was truly breathtaking. The water was gorgeous. The deck was so inviting and the covered dock and swimming access was just perfect! There were kayaks and life vests at our disposal. We did NOT want to leave and we will be back as soon as possible!

Lake views were as beautiful as the pictures. The dock space was awesome and the host provided lots of floats and 2 kayaks. Check in was very easy. The covered patio was huge and a great place to eat and hang out. Our dog loved it too. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was wonderful we stayed there to be close to family who stayed at the Lake House. Having the kayaks was great the kids and adults both enjoyed them

What a wonderful home ! The property is absolutely gorgeous. Our whole family swam multiple times a day. We really appreciated all the extra amenities including extra towels , pool toys , & pack & play for the baby . The boys really loved kayaking & fishing. The kitchen had everything we need to prepare our meals. It was absolutely perfect for our family gathering. Elizabeth was very responsive when we contacted her a couple of times. Thanks for sharing this beautiful home.

This place is fantastic except few things. Please put bathroom mat on the floor. Please provide enough towels for us, a large family. Please add towel racks. The kids didn’t know where to put up the towels after showering. Please provide mixing bowls. We cooked dinners every night. Cuz we hiked and swam in the swimming holes next to waterfalls. We came home and took showers. I tried to cook with so few cookware items. It was difficult but I made it thru. You provided excellent plates, bowls, spoons, forks, knives and glasses. But not enough cookware items. (Glass pans for baking). Also, we fixed your toilet for you. Someone put fishing string inside the tank for flushing. It broke. So I fixed it with something else temporarily. Please provide metal thing in toilet tank. Thank you for games. That was extremely helpful to keep kids entertaining while I cooked dinners at nights. There were beautiful hikes and waterfalls nearby. It was totally worth it. Yes !!Love here!

It was absolutely one of the two most peaceful places I have ever been to. I wasn't ready to leave, and I will go back just as soon as possible. The place was clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed and Gary & Sheryl were awesome!!! If you want a quiet get away, I highly recommend "On the River"!!!

If I could give this stay 20 stars I would! What a phenomenal experience. Michael & Hilda’s home is absolutely stunning. Their family and friends we met while being there were so welcoming and friendly. The love they all have for making sure their guest are happy, goes unnoticed. They made us feel like their place was ours. I can’t wait to come back or to another one of their beautiful properties! Thank you just isn’t enough.

Rhonda and Clay were kind, nice hosts. Easy access, ease of parking, and great lake view off the balcony. Would definitely go back!

The house was excellent and there were no negatives about it. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and the location was awesome. Hope was quick to respond to our messages and everything went well. Watts Bar Lake was an incredible lake and there are great locations like Burgess Falls that are within a 1.5 hour drive. We had decided to split our vacation between Watts Bar Lake in Spring City and Lake Nantahala in North Carolina (one of our favorite places) but if we could have made changes we would have stayed the entire time in Spring City. We definitely want to visit the lake again and would use Hope's rental again.

It was a beautiful quiet place.

My fiancé and I came to visit the area because we were attending a dance competition for his daughters. The area is very beautiful. Mr. Gary was very kind and responsive. The weekend we attended had severe weather that came out of nowhere. We were sight seeing and he alerted us on what was going to happen and how to prepare for safety. Thank you Mr. Gary for the incredible service and hospitality.

Jay and the co-hosts were responsive and helpful, check in and out was very easy. Request to extend my stay was accommodated with multiple options provided. The property was clean and stocked with basics. Checking in and out was simple. This is a great location for westside of Knoxville with quick access to the I-40.

The apartment was clean and in a great location. Also, the host was very responsive. Would stay there again.

This was a great place to stay! Secluded on the lake it makes for a quiet peaceful stay. The house was great, would stay here again!

We had a great weekend here. We went fishing on Great Falls and had a blast. The house was nice and the dock was super convenient for our boat. We will be back on the next fishing venture to Great Falls.

For the purpose of our trip which was to take in 6 or 7 waterfalls, it was a perfect location. Cane Creek Falls, Rockhouse Falls, Fall Creek Falls and Piney Falls are within minutes of this Cottage. This was spacious place with a wonderful wrap-around porch. The Wifi worked well and have pretty good reach outside as well. Plenty of wood was there for use for the fire pit. The HVAC system cooled the place with ease. Definitely a private location. Other than cars passing by, we saw no one. Ha. There is a Dollar General about 10 miles away, so you need to plan ahead for getting groceries there. These are curve mountain roads, so you don't get anywhere quickly, but we expected that. We didn't use the hot tub, but there was one there in good working order. There were string lights up and down, so when it got dark, there was no problem seeing your way around. We really enjoyed this location and would reserve it again if we visited this area in the future. Thanks for the great stay!

Very happy with our stay. The place is clearly well taken care of and I think the price was very fair. If you like to plan ahead, I’d say the kitchen area is relatively small and didn’t have proper chef knives. I was planning on cooking but wanted to keep things simple and had to reconsider what was feasible. Also FYI we didn’t have cell reception in that area. Wifi worked great though, I was even able to work and take video calls.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage! We liked that we could stay out in the country but still be close enough to explore Chattanooga, and it was an easy hour drive up to Fall Creek Falls State Park. The cottage was lovely and cozy and had a lot of character.

We had an amazing stay at Trisha’ s place! The house was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We felt right at home and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and clean place to stay! We were able to fish Lake Chickamauga everyday rain or shine 🤍

My wife and I really enjoyed staying here. It was peaceful and had a wonderful view of the lake. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. It had all of the amenities that we needed for our stay. Having a covered dock with a boat lift was very nice. It kept my bass boat dry during the rain. It also had power outlets available for plugging in my onboard charger for my trolling motor. I would highly recommend Steven's place for anyone looking for a place on Watts Barr Lake

I would recommend this place to others, it was quiet, peaceful, beautiful spot on the lake just like we had wanted, and the photos showed. I thought it would be a bit bigger from the photos, but it did work for our needs! We didn't realize propane was not included with the grill, honestly I didn't even think to check that as an option, however they responded very quickly and directed us to a nearby location to buy some. Out of all the airbnbs I've stayed at over the years, they were the fastest responders by far. Everything was clean, instructions were clear through airbnb, and we had a very nice stay!
